  • Hi everyone! #halo #halowars
When I was growing up, I grew up with PlayStation, so I didn't own an Xbox so playing Halo was a no go! The only way I could play Halo was at my friends' houses where they owned Xboxes' and Halo! So, all of this is a brand-new experience for me!

Halo Wars was released after Halo 3, after the universe was already fleshed out, and set near the beginning of the war. So many things aren't explained that you would have known from Halo 1-3.

To your comment about Serena having an attitude, they like it that way. Each AI was given a Developmental Personality so they are each unique from choice of clothing, to accent, color, and general attitude. This allowed the AI to be more human and to integrate into the crews they are assigned to more effectively. Also note that Sgt Forge was the only Non Spartan Marine in the war to ever take out an Arbiter. Forge is much like ODST Buck “If he was any better, he’d be a Spartan!” Oh wait…Buck got to be one later…

Regarding Spartan lore and training, it depends on which class of Spartan we are talking about. The Spartans here were Spartan 2s, which are kidnapped around age 6, then trained until age 14 when they are given chemical augmentations to make them, faster, stronger, smarter, and tougher. The movie called the fall of Reach is an excellent movie to watch to learn about Spartan 2 training. Spartan 3s are similar just not kidnapped, most of them are orphins from the war and recieve a bit less of the augmentations I believe. Spartan 4s are audult recrutes, and are given the weakest augmentations out of the 3 types. And then each class of Spartan has diffrent armors with diffrent enchanments to go along with them. Most spartan armor is a Moljir type

@@WarriorHumble24 To add on to this, the Spartan-IIIs were inducted at the same age as the Spartan-IIs. They also received different augmentations to the Spartan-IIs, that could potentially have made them just as strong as the IIs, but they were also made tougher than the IIs where they could continue fighting even when a normal human would have been dead and/or unconscious. Most of the Spartans did get MJOLNIR armor, except for the Spartan-IIIs. Because the IIIs were effectively mass-produced in three "companies" *(not actually the size of a modern company, there were differing amounts in each, but the Gamma Company Spartan-IIIs were around 330 strong, and also the last of the IIIs), they received the SPI (Semi-Powered Infiltration)* armor, which did enhance their speed, strength, and agility, but it did not do this as effectively as the MJOLNIR armor because it was cheaper and thus more suited to the larger numbers of the IIIs, but some of the IIIs received MJOLNIR due to their effectiveness as compared to the other IIIs, and it presumably being used with them to test the new variant of the armor. *(For comparison, the MJOLNIR armor costed about as much as a warship, which I would assume to be a frigate, but the Spartan-IIs were able to be issued MJOLNIR due to their smaller unit size of about 30 active Spartans at the time of their receival of the armor.)* The SPI armor did have another advantage to it being cheaper, though, and that was that it basically gave the user active camouflage, but it wasn't perfect due to it being panels that displayed on image of the opposite side of the wearer from the location of the panel.
The Spartan-IVs on the other hand, had much, much different augmentations than the previous generations. They were more akin to the Orion-I candidates *(the Orion-I program was effectively the Spartan-I program, and the Spartan-II program was originally called the Orion-II program, and the Orion-I program made Sergeant Major Johnson so effective in combat)* in that because of their adult age when becoming Spartans, but the IVs were much more successful in their augmentations than the Orion-I's members. These Spartan-IVs were made in larger numbers than the Spartan-IIs, but less than the IIIs. They also were issued MJOLNIR due to the Human-Covenant war being over, which meant the UNSC had greater breathing room to invest in the manufacturing of the armor rather than weapons and armor for standard infantrymen, or more ships to defend the colonies. With this added production capability, two of the surviving Spartan-IIIs from the Beta-Company of that program *(the second company, of which very few members survived)* were issued a newer variant of MJOLNIR armor that the Spartan-IVs also received.

On the topic of human and covenant ships: the covenant ships are equipped with plasma torpedoes, pulse lasers, and energy shields, the energy shields are strong enough that it requires nukes or a strike from a UNSC ship’s spinal mass accelerator cannon(MAC) while the covenant plasma torpedoes can and will cut through the unsc ship’s titanium armor like a knife through butter. In a straight up fight it generally takes 3 human ships to take out a covenant ship, barring cases where a exceptionally gifted captain or admiral is involved in which case that ratio can go right out the window.

The problem many people have with the Halo tv show (specially the people who grew up with the game) is that it's not canon. They changed the story entirely. The original story is far mor interesting in my opinion

Also they show the Master Cheeks way too much. They should have left him in the armor. And if he had to take off the helmet then that’s where they draw the line.

My take is that it’s an alternate universe separate from the books and games

@@charliemendez5598 That's not just your take, that's official. Long before the show even released, they confirmed that it takes place in what's called "The Silver Timeline", which is an alternate universe.
