There are as many opinions on "Horses- Their Care-Custody and Control" as there are from owners-trainers-exhibitors and in the opinion of this aged "Horseman" One thing is paramount -- You Can't Make A Racehorse Out Of A Jackass --- Not All Horses Are Physically and Mentally Capable of The Same Response To A Similar Outside Stimulus and Only The Foolish Will Attempt To Force A Reaction From An Individual Who Is Incapable Of A Desired Response. Many Times The Only Response is Total Frustration on The Part Of Both Horse and Rider Often Resulting In Unnecessary Forcefull Actions And Reactions From Both.
