Good point about the music before the event. I was at a wedding recently with relaxed jazz piano music live while we waited for the ceremony. So relaxing and everyone was in a good mood even though waiting.
we only spent 2000$ on our wedding. it was quick and fun and left us in no debt and we were able start our marriage off debt free. I didn't do anything you mentioned in here and I had a great wedding with great memories. It's only one day. It's kinda the rest of your life that matters.
Raising For Him Amen sister all the mess some people do on the TV show Say yes to the dress Alanta bride just needed a dress they were eloping so just needed dress distiny wedding than another one needed a dress right same day marrying a Military man they got married outside the court house 2000 you did awesome
Boutonnières can also be made with a magnet that attaches the piece to a shirt or lapel, if you really want your groomsmen to have them without a jacket
I got married in February and so organised an 'in-side' wedding. It turned out to be a sunny day but I'm glad I organised an inside room (they then kept the doors open so folk could walk in and out - perfect)
I agree with no outdoor weddings. My nephew got married in Sept and it poured and all the seats were wet and the grass was soggy and the seats were sinking in the mud. . It's a romantic idea but not very practical if it's nice out
I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but I think you look super cute, and I LOVE your top! Could you tell me where you bought it? :) I'm a bride to be and I was looking for floral clothes for special preparation days :D Thanks in advance!!
I have never been to a wedding where the DJ came to the ceremony AND reception. Most of the DJ's I have seen have been busy setting up at the reception while the ceremony begins at the church-otherwise, there's no music at the reception when guests flock to the reception.
Who on Earth would get married without a suit jacket. In the UK that would be considered very bad form. If it’s hot, the groom and his groomsmen can take their jackets off at the reception.
YOU ARE 100 PERCENT WRONG ABOUT MUSIC...AT MY BRO"S CEREMONY WE HIRED A PIANIST WITH A BABY GRAND TO PLAY BEFORE CEREMONY AND WE SERVED CHAMPAGNE AND CANAPES AND OYSTERS. THE COCKTAILS WERE PASSED SUCCESFULLY AS WELL. IT WAS SOOO RELAXING... IT WAS A LOVELY LIL PARTY... YES WE SPENT A LIL ON THAT BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. WE CUT SAVED ON OTHER THINGS TO STAY ON BUDGET.
I enjoy the biter sisters Their all sweet and funny Jessica's my favorite It makes my day when I am working I am a security officer So I like to watch them
Bands and vendors charge by the hour? If you want 30 mins of music for people who "may" be sitting there, that's expensive... Hence why most couples don't have music before the processional. It also signals that the wedding is starting, and it's way less confusing for those waiting for their queue to walk. I don't agree with you there at all.

I'm so glad you mentioned music before the reception. I hadn't even given that a thought. I really enjoyed your tips, and your personality.

Would you care to share any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated? I am getting married in June this year. Thank you
I’m currently planning a wedding for just over your budget and I totally agree... no point in putting yourself in debt to keep everyone else happy!!

Really good tips! I liked that it was things that no one else is talking about, and also was from a outsider perspective.

I totally agree, no awkward silences!!!

The boutonniere advice was so funny! That would be pretty awkward fastening them onto dress shirts!
These are great advice and hopefully you and your listeners will benefit greatly from applying them when you get married.

Betsy Collins Not the DJ at the ceremony. You use a sound man or live musician.

I coordinate weddings at our church. My advice: no train on your wedding dress. Way too much trouble and it gets bustled for the reception.
You look so lovely and classy! Where are your earrings from?
Makes sense.
Hahah!! I LOVED this Jessica!
