luv em or hate em, the venom-spiderman team is actually a pretty great team. granted, most people only spam power stone with the team up, but with any stone, they r a force to be reckoned with. also, KICK ASS FINAL GAME! it went by super freakin quick man.
At least people are using Spider-Man now.

I absolutely love this game! It's very fast and I can do crazy combos. The Power Stones are fun and I like the "2v2 tag in almost any time" mechanic as well.
It's my favorite fighting game so far.
Luxer Husku Beyond Sigma, Black Panther, and Monster Hunter being DLC, I have no complaints about this game. Everyone is freaking out way too much over this game's miniscule problems.

Reb3l Vanguard soul stone is strong, but it’s mostly just used as a TJ “I ain’t done yet!” It’s the most common, and it just takes a matter of getting used to soul stone mechanics to battle against the infinity surge. Power stone, now that people realize the cheesy stuff you can do with it, is worse, but thankfully not as common....for now.
After playing the DBFZ beta for a while, I do kinda miss playing Marvel. The mechanics are really fun.

I am pretty sure the commonly used acronym is DBFZ Regardless how you pronounce FighterZ (i agree the Z is part of the word not its own letter) the acronym is still DBFZ.

I know most people think poorly of this game, but man, this is enjoyable to watch! So fast paced and great fights! Thanks to you Max, one of resolutions for this year was to branch out to competitive fighting games (yes I’m a filthy casual unfortunately). Everyone started somewhere right? Idk if you’ll see this, but thanks again for inspiring me to get into fighting games!

Yeah I do enjoy playing the game, but the visuals and drama surrounding it take me out of it. Plus I'm a fan of arcade mode endings and this doesn't have any, so after visiting a friend and playing for a day I had fun, but didn't feel urgent need to come back for more.

Why does MvCI get all these "it's dead" comments while games like Blazblue, Guilty Gear, Skullgirls, and other anime fighters that feel much deader than this game don't?

Starnana Guy First this game looks more of a Phone game on HD than a PS4/Xbox one game , second the characters are basically the same as MvC3 except the DLC Characters and much of the things that made it better came from DLC so its dead in the sense that as a full game it isint worth it you're better of buying UMvC3 than this at least Bazblue always tries to change things and in here the only that makes it better its the Infinity Stones other than that like I said this looks like a mobile game
+pokemonfan boos This is probably because I have the PS4 version of MvCI, but I find matches easier and faster than I do in Skullgirls, where I just see a few people playing online and not much other people. I don't think one platform ever indicated the game's dead (unless if it's exclusive to the platform), especially when it comes to fighting games.

I just wanna take a moment to say how much fun this is to watch.
This goes especially because Max usually picks up on game mechanics really quickly and often ends up steam rolling the opposition like in MK. However, there is just so much in this game with all the tags and ways to make some stuff safe and with being able to rescue one of your characters even while he is being comboed that even Max is presented with a bunch of new challenges constantly.
think im done with mvci after that dbfz beta i dont wanna play anything else

Most used dante spidy has always been descent but it's funny how people change their likes in team. There used to be nothing but dante, thanos, dormamu and jedah. Now you barely see anyone using them. Hell Morrigan is really good in this game using time stone yet you barely see anyone play as her.
To bad this game got a lot of hate. I believe people would have looked passed a lot of their problems if it had an awesome roaster. This game is actually awesome but a lot of people got turned away because of the hate without giving it a chance..

michael cole MC3 is a complete game. People complained about the roaster when it first came out. Hopefully MVCI isnt done yet and they give us more stages and a better characters.

These people have no shame, using that bullshit OP "Easy Hyper Combo" feature. I guess its not their fault Capcom decided not to give a heavy penalty on damage dealt when using that. It should scale damage down to like 30% or something. Its a feature meant for the casuals who just want to hit buttons and watch cool shit happen, not a tool to use at competitive level.
AndresLionheart I'd agree but a fireball motion isn't much harder than pressing two buttons at the same time. I'm more bothered by auto combos off LP but there are ways around that if you have a better understanding of your characters and can control space.
I still hope they add Blade from Marvel, Rogue from X-Men, Batsu, and Felicia from Darkstalkers. Would be cool.

Minor fanboy complaint: I know it's supposed to be 'Fan service' but I personally HATE that Spidey and Venom refer to each other by their real names when they tag in and out. Pete would especially be sensitive to that since he's so guarded about his secret identity.

I was on the same thoughts until i recieve the game as a gift, i can say you besides the bad looking and bad roster (I think poor because the bad characters have good moves but its not the character you wanna see) the mechanics are really fun, if you have good time with umvc3 i can assure you it will be so fun with mvci, as i say first i didnt believe this until try, last comment i think if mvci have the style and characters of umvc3 with the new mechanics no doubts that game would be the best of the series! ;)

The Deluxe Edition is at half of its original price, why not get that? The only things you will miss are the premium costumes but you will get all of the DLC characters with their costumes.

Power stone is too damn good. I ask for 4+ bar commection then i get the most lagiest match and a whole random super along with power stone spam. Its hit radius and recovery is too good

Maybe for the aesthetics but the gameplay is much more interesting to watch in MvCI instead of UMvC3 where one player one-touch-deaths all the characters until you one-touch all his characters back with x-factor dark Phoenix or Vergil. Personally I like MvC2 best out of the series.

Really can't go back to this after playing dbz, the production and love that went into the small things went a long way with me. This just seems lazy even though the gameplay is super fun. The music, UI, character models and game modes are lackluster af. Venom and monster Hunter are super fun though
