Metroid: Samus Returns 100% Walkthrough Part 9 - Area 8 and Queen Metroid

- Here is my 100% Walkthrough for Metroid: Samus Returns for the Nintendo 3DS. I will be going through this on Hard Mode, and will also try to completely fill up the map, so this won’t be a speed run, and you will see me run back to fill in some square at times.
I go through Area 8, which is the final area. At first, you’ll find a lot of expansion in the main room, so be sure to obtain them. Soon after, the Metroid Counter will increase by 10, which shows that there are newly hatched Metroids in the area. Once you defeat all ten of them, you’ll finally be able to take on the Queen Metroid. After defeating it, you will find the Metroid Hatchling, which will be your companion from now on until the endgame, and it turns out that it can eat the blue/green crystals you have been seeing in every area, which means that you will need to use it to get every expansion. I get a few more expansions in Area 8 and save in the Surface area.

Part 3:39 don’t need to morph into a ball can just walk forward and Samus will latch into the next wall before falling more easier than being in a ball
Pretty cool how that same Metroid saves her life against Mother Brain and then saves her life again in the form of a vaccine. Then the baby effectively comes to life inside of Samus..
Wait a minute...Did u Freeze it, and hit with a Super Missile? I wouldve never tried that. I been going through this whole damn game, barely ever using the Freeze blast.
Metroids have an inherent weakness against cold temps, the ice beam pretty much exists to be used against them.
I liked the Queen Metroid's Other M design the best.
I came here to figure out what to do with the Metroid at 8:46, and found out you get a little buddy at the end.

1 - how did you keep the Aeon shield for so long without draining?
2 - how did you kill the metroids so fast?
1 - The Electric Shield only drains Aeion while Samus takes damage (e. g. Running through the red plants)
2 - They used Super Missiles instead of normal ones, which kill Metroids instantly, as long as they're frozen.
@@linds_nom 1 - I had no idea! Never noticed it didn't drain while not being damaged!
2 - he switched weapons so fast, I didn't see they were using super missiles!

14:23 oh CRAP it's another one PERFECT I THOUGHT IT WAS BEAUTIFUL HOW IT THINKS SAMUS IS MOMMA. Hopefully this metroid doesnt have to sacrifice itself for samus like THE one before....

If I follow through the newly discovered map with my new little Metroid, can I still explore the rest of the maps to complete them? Or do I have to go back the way I came with my Metroid to get those areas? In other words, if I follow the new map back to the surface area, will that complete the game, or will it allow me to keep exploring?
l3n1x you can keep exploring, there will be a teleporter before the ship. Don't go directly to the ship though, use the teleporter to go around first.

Yeah, I tried fighting that metroid at 8:50 that you fought and killed and for whatever reason it won't die
nevermind i realized that you had to ice them first then shoot them.
In this game Metroid not attack robots in sight or they can,t absorb like electrical. Hard to explain so metroid only can drain like bioenergy of living creature ???

In some of his other videos(specifically, his Prime Hunters ones), he says he has a 3DS capture card, so he's likely doing this on official hardware.
Who do you think would win a fight: the Queen Metroid or the Basilisk from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets?
@@illumi9044 Good point, but the basilisk has the ability to instantly kill anything that makes direct eye contact with it.
I don’t know if those eyes function the same way human eyes would. And I don’t know how effective basilisk venom would be against a queen.
@@bluj3ip560 in other m, the queen metroid's vision is like a human's but with this pink effect and also blurry so it's kinda like a human eye?
