. I was just trying to get ahold of you about a G1 Prime. from a vintage toy store that we have here. but he came in a little plastic custom case .I've recently taken. Him out and look him over. Prime's legs have one and two but there's no numbe.r in the trailer at all on the doors nowhere!!! roller has no number did I get a KO trailer. The trailers the. Trailor is the non Bloated. Metal. Its the stanard trailor. I spent over $100 something for him!!! I know quiet a bit about G1's. Im a collector & been collecting almost 30 yrs. But im not a expert lol. You seem to be the man on Primes. Sry the long message. But i RLY RLY need the help. & if i got took i'm going to be. Beyond mad. Btw the prime he used tie downs on the cab & trailor. In the little platic case he's in.

So many variants! Prime was my second transformer when I was a kid. I remember it had the dark blue parts and roller, and didn't have a rub on the roof - I remember trying to mount his rifle there. Probably Hasbro "3" I guess.
I started re-watching the G1 cartoon again recently and just realized that in Truck mode Prime does not have the white stripe around his chest.
It's weird watching it disappear and reappear in more quality animation in transformers the movie

This is a pretty nice lineup of Optimus. I have 21 ranging from bloated to the newest one. A few duplicates. There are so many variations. And then ko’s. Very nice of you to share. Thank you

My original g1 prime from the 90s has the smooth bumper in the middle, withe the two small bumps at the sides, number 3 inside his thighs none on his head, no rub symbol, thin gun, original small hands without the retool, a dark blue roller and insides. Need to check the copy info under the trailer yet…
If you wondering, it is the gold box europe classics one from 90 or 91.

Actually, there exist more official variants like the Iga variant and the other Iga variant for Europe with the red eyes, the Italy variant etc
Agreed. There’s the Mexican Red eye, and the Super launcher variants.
Why is it, seeing all those trucks lined up, I'm waiting to see Evel Knievel jump all them....

@@transformerscollectorsunit2489 I wish to do this with Optimus Primal. I'm only missing the 2007 TM-SP DX Primal from Takara. Lucky Draws are out of the question but finding out mold variances would be cool.

Actually, Battle Convoy was released in 1983, not 1980.
Hi. Thank you for this review, although it was quick, it was still interesting. One question, I missed that part in your video. The G2 figure I have in 2 variants: one with a "3" behind the hind and inside leg & the other one has a "4" behind his head en inside leg. Those numbers are also on my G1's (I have multiple OPs). Would the 3 represent Europe and the 4 UK/US?
Never owned a g1 Optimus prime even though I was a 9 years old in 1984.My neighbors had him. I did own the g2 prime which I sold later down the line. Honestly, I’m not a fan of red transformer toys, but eventually when I can find one at a decent price I will buy. The KO without the silver stripe doesn’t appeal to me.
So G1 OP whould be thought of as having front bumper boobies (likely fog lamps) and navy blue body parts, while the trailer had royal blue parts. The light blue on the trailer is probably a big part of why so many of us '80s kids misremember OP as also having light blue on his body.

I have a trailer I got from a seller on eBay that claims it is a Pre Rub. The Hitch says "T" and it says "Japan" not "made in Japan" like the KO's. However on the inside of this trialer, I see a 2 on the radar square dish, but on the trailer driver side trailer door is a 4, and the passenger trailer side has nothing. The ramp has nothing either. Were there T variants that had no numbers, or a mix of T and T4 parts, "4"? Everything looks like it belongs together and matches as far as plastic goes. Nothing looks like it's made of cheap KO plastic.
Seeing all those Optimus' lined up reminds me of the time i was offered a mint sealed CASE OF 1986 G1 Optimus Prime and I decided not to buy for £475 lol this was in 2003/4

I'm guessing Alpha Trion just took one of them and rebuilt Orion Pax into it.
And probably burned the others to prevent reverse-engineering.
Can anyone tell me what it means if my Optimus has different number in each leg and his head? One leg is 1 the other is 2 and the plate that his head sits on has a 6. Did I buy a rebuilt Optimus?
The legs are correct. T2 release. The head should be stamped 2 or no stamped number.
Someone possibly replaced the head.
Do you have any more information on the number 6 variant. Can’t find any information about it. Mail away? Movie? Year ?
@@Prime-collector The Mail Away releases came mostly (5) stamped.
I have a fellow collector who somehow received a mail away stamped (6).
Thee was no set standard.
In collecting experience of 25 years I have mainly seen (5)stamped as the main Mail Away.

I hope you can help. Looks like your man to ask. I bought a G1 Prime. From a vintage toy shop here. He was in a custome plastic case in truck mode. Iv'e him for a few months. Decided to take him out. & over looked him. Here's my problem!!! Primes leds are 1&2. But. The trailor is the non bloated Metal. It's the stanard. My problem is there are no numbers any where inside the trailor!!!!! Roller has no # either!!! Is my trailor a KO?? If so im pretty anry i paid real good $ for him to get took!! Can you PLZ help me or any one how knows... PLZ. PLZ someone.
Were there any versions that had a little chrome guy sitting inside the robot in Optimus primes trailer?
Only the Diaclone version was packaged with drivers (3)
