They are beautiful!! I watched the last part a few times because I kept thinking I missed something. 🤔 Nope, I didn't, y'all did. You forgot the crystals. Thank you for the video.🙃
You could mix some big chunky/ glass glitter with TLS and pour (or just dab) into the center hole before baking for extra sparkle and realism. Great tute!
If I want to make coasters, does I have to finish it with something, like a coating? My mother does a lot of crochet. I want to make a set of buttons for her clothes. Do you know what I have to do to finish the buttons so it can be washed with the laundry?
That is a good question so i looked it up for you.. > Durability Concerns Polymer clay by itself is strong, durable, and waterproof. Because of that it’s an excellent material for making buttons. But for polymer clay to be strong, it needs to be baked properly. And because strength increases with bake time, it might be worth baking your clay longer than normal, perhaps twice as long as recommended.
I coat mine with dishwasher safe Mod Podge… even though polymer clay is basically waterproof after proper baking, it never hurts to add a little something extra to make sure!
I usually buy all of the pearl whenever I go to the store. That way I can make any packet of clay into pearly clay
WoW amazingly beautiful

As an avid rock collector, I can't get over how good these look!!!
Tip! Freeze the cane before slicing so it doesn't smudge. :)

Thanks for the LoVe!
It's not a tube, it's a cylinder. Tubes are hollow.
Brought to you by the word police.
Thank you. When I heard that I thought I'd missed a step where the cylinder was hollowed out 😅
@@punchdrunkassassin 😁 I can see how that would throw you off.
bravi
Interesting 👏👏👏
I love it thanks
Cool idea. I might lose the music or use a less intrusive sound
Is it transparent?
i would love to try this but i would love to know what glitters you use and were you can get them ty
We used ultra fine glitter. The kind from any craft shop. These were in the kids section and not very much $$. Hope that helps!
Michaels has tons of glitter.
Great ideas but this video's music is so annoying it makes it hard to watch with sound up.
What also might be cool is to bake them then create an alum solution and grow some crystals in the center of them! :D
YOU CAN PUT SCULPEY CLAY BY THE HEATER FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES AND YOU WILL SEE HOW MUCH EASIER IT IS TO PLAY WITH.

Use sculpy premo! or fimo professional.. they become very strong after baking
@@rosedolch8637 Thank you so much! That’s really helpful.
