These are the reasons why some yutes don't register fully because they can't tolerate with the tedious processes. Always best to be fully equipped trust me. Very informative video bredda
Indeed and I can see with them also. Plus the fees (insurance). Sometimes I wonder why I'm paying insurance when nothing happens on the road but it's not about now, it's about what might happen down the line.

Did you make the video about the different insurance companies? I'm not seeing it. Either way, looking to get my own bike soon so I'm looking for companies. You can't really get much info without calling them or physically visiting their offices. The info a lot of them give online is outdated. One even gave an email address that didn't work.

What if i don't have the title but have the registration and fitness and old insurance paper, i bought the bike from abguy few years ago and the title wasn't stamped out..can i still go to the insurance company even tho it isn't my name thats on thw documents and get all these done

Incredibly useful advice! Helped clarify a lot for me a few months back. Crucial as a UK driver. Our process is much more straight forward. Question. My licence/registration (window sticker) expires August. My fitness expired Aug 8th. So do I need to renew fitness before renewing license/registration?
If you'd like for everything to be renewed at once then you can renew the fitness then do your registration. (once your fitness is up n that particular month your supposed to have it renewed before the date its up) But you have 1 month grace on the registration after its up. Gives you time to sort out everything

I have a used bike I need to get the fitness for it a ride and thing only the tyres them really need to change but it still can ride on you think the fitness examiner ago pree the tyres or just the important stuff like brakes and indicators and thing
Be safe, rather than sorry, fitness examiners look at EVERYTHING.. Sometimes you may get lucky (n they don't even check certain things) but you gotta be ready.
Once the tires are bald, they WILL fail you.
I do my fitness at morant bay in the country side... No waiting for me!

Question... what if when i purchased my motorcycle I didn't get any license plate.( they were already turned in) how to go about it?
Just head to the tax office with all ur docs n let em know you'll like to purchase some new plates.
(once the original owner has signed over the old plates you should be good)

Can you please do a video on the process of registering a new bike? I've been planning to buy an AKT power from lucky dollar. It's a 150cc bike. Do you know anything about it and would it be suited for a lady? I've only ridden a scooter

The AKT bikes are nicely built, I Can't speak for durability though, but with any Chinese bike, once you don't abuse them they can definitely last. Just care it n you'll see how it serves.
It would be a good fit for females, cause it has a different look from the (yeng yeng). I've seen guys on it n it looks very good, so you'll look pretty good on it

I only use and know BCIC's rate. You have other companies which have the same rate as them but you'll have to check around. (Autosmart, key, GK)

You have to find someone selling paper work and go through the process to stamp vin and all that.
My plate was stolen reported it got a recipe from the police station to prove, will i still have to pay back license? Link me back ASAP.
No, you don't pay back license (arrears) unless you haven't registered the vehicle.

Oh yes.. Saame thing. As long as the bike is legal. You should have received the title (which you would have to transfer in your name) then you take fitness & registration. N you follow the saame process.
So bro..what if I'm purchasing a second hand bike without the papers from someone. What's the procedure in getting it straight and stuff??
If that is so, you would have to get some contact with someone (whether a link at the tax office or depo or somewhere) who is able to get documents made for you

To be honest, automatic (I've seen seen any) but sometimes you can find dealers like (Tiger) on Princess Streets downtown selling them.. They often advertise them on their Facebook page. But you'll have to just search through Google Facebook online for anyone selling privately in JA

You gotta go to tax office turn on the other one n buy new plates man.
Or have them get back your same plate, which may take a while. N you'll still have to pay for it

As far as I know.. Just ask around. Find someone with a (link) and give them a food n they'll deal wid it. Normally those persons are at the Depot, so if you don't have anyone to ask, you can check the depot n talk to a one man up there.
