Damon is mixed race. He’s married non-Black. And he takes no interest in the Black community. Power and success of successful Black men should be measured by how much they do to uplift the Black community, which is on a downward spiral. I respect Dean far more than Damon.

The Uk's most powerful black man is the one none of us know. If i know your name, your business and where you at, anyone can pull up. Power and invisibilty are intertwined
I think Dean is inspirational to many, but i dont think he is the most powerful black person in the UK. The way he has told the story, he is the plug, the middleman
Yh it's clickbait funny enough it's probably David lammy lol. Forbes is the middleman and benefited from a good circle. Posty is too awkward for these interviews though lol.
Black ppl thinking that being powerful is about money. This man doesn’t control any means of production. He’s just a middle man. He works for ppl who control production. If he is that powerful. Let him post ‘free Palestine’ on his social media and let’s see how powerful he is will be a week after. Kmt!
@@Brewsterman Nah he's right still. Kudos to Dean Forbes making it big. I love it when our people win. But our community needs to know that real power comes from manufacturing and producing, not being the middle man.
This! The list means nothing in the grand scheme of things, it's no different from calling an actor the most 'influential'. Same energy as that celebrity net-worth site.
@ If the CEO is the founder of the company then most likely yes but an appointed CEO (which is what Dean is talking about) ain’t touching those percentages regardless of company size
lol your talking like you work in acquisitions, but guess what I have. Equity percentage is always based on whenever you enter the process. You also have equity dilution to factor in. Equity VS Voting and Non Voting shares so much to factor in for you to make such a blanket statement that 4%-15% is cap lol? You also don’t know if he had performance based equity bonuses in his contract. For example if he’s able to achieve sale price A vs sale price B he will be awarded X amount of profit on Exit. Which he could easily be explaining to be Equity as it’s easier to understand. Lastly a quick google search and most the deal the Forbes group have done are very public. Instead of calling CAP you should have said how did he achieve it? Lol. @@talli22
@@talli22 again, depends on the size, at a startup a CEO can easily get up to 20% but in an established company that’s on the stock exchange already 1% is the norm. I’m not a CEO (nowhere near) and I’ve had close to 1% of a startup before awarded in shares that vest over a 3 year period so I can only imagine what the CEO had at the time or even the people above me.
Love this Post great interview insparational love seeing positivity for black men n not just the negativity what we always see.
Thank you
If you took the black out this sentence everyone could relate black isn't a disability stop seeing people by skin colour and judge them by character
A durag on a bold head is crazy work
‘bold’ head is abominable work

Black excellence at its best!! We love to see it 👏🏽

Try and get Damon Buffini on here next, another powerful Black Man in the UK worth £100+ million.

Dean Forbes is one of the most influential though.

For real Strive is the most powerful blackman.
Fine but let Dean have his time plus he is more relatable
His networth is in the billions but what has he done with it that shows he's powerful....
Most powerful is wild
