The fairytale one also seems to be telling us something else.Lets say that the dragon is your depression or anything else that is bad like suicidal thoughts.And the person who slays the dragon is you.Your depression(or anything else bad)can be overcome with the right support,help and people around you.
So never stop fighting that battle because you will overcome it if you’re persistent.If you give up or lose, you will never know how it would be like if you had won.
I like to think of fairytales ways to show that your personal battles can be beaten,your emotions shouldn’t overcome you and that if you make the right decisions you may end up having a happy ever after.
