The hood needs a sticker on the front that says “It’s closed, trust me”
For sure! Safety yellow or orange
😂
Some fake hood pins would be classic
That, or enough people are gonna say something and he'll fix it just so he doesnt have to hear about his hood ever again
James needs it
GEICO brakes..saved a bunch of money while stopping in 15 minutes. 🇺🇸🥩
How do you know what works and don’t work if you drive conservative and holding back. If you was running 8s holding back makes sense but running 10s hope not to break nothing. To me to much went into the build to settle for 10s.
@@teflondon6947 agreed! Let er rip!
Fasterproms is the best. I'm so glad Cleter McSkeeter introduced you.
Jeremy and Garrett have been friends for years, way before the current shop situation.
Paul Copeland thats exactly what he was referring to lmao
What a bunch of know it all's just shut tf up
Paul Copeland I don’t think they were friends very long before the shop now, I know that they were friends before, but not years.
@@paulcopeland9035 I know this, but I would have never known about Jeremy or his crew, unless Cletus(Garrett) introduced the the man himself. Just as if I wouldn't have known about Garrett, if it weren't for Kyle, of 1320 videos, introducing him. Just a statement of gratification.
George was about to go full boomhauer talking about what they did to the car 😂
Your son showing some you some love before that first pass brought me to tears. Just reminded me how much i miss my friend who recently passed and left a family behind.
You , Cletus and itsjusta6 are my go to channels. keep the videos coming
"I heard some rattling"
Yes indeed. Everything rattled.. violently 😂😂
Indeed. I'd rather be a gnome in a can on a paint-shaker.
Needs a slipper clutch
I wanted to take a moment to thank you personally you have helped me through my depression and helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel I lost track of my love a car's a long time ago and lost a part of myself along the way as well thanks to you and the whole gang there at faster problems you helped me realize there's more to life than feeling sorry for yourself I never thought I'd have the energy to do it again thanks to you guys I not only have the energy I have the heart that I lost a long time ago
Your son giving you a good luck kiss on the cheek, priceless stuff right there.
I love how chill and humble the fasterproms crew is. I'd kick it with you guys on the weekdays and party up with team cleeter on the weekends
I am really proud of the progression. Great job guys. Making it work with what you got. Go Fasterproms. Keep up the great content.
Another great Fasterproms video! Loving the Uncle Sam saga.
I hate to be a comment driver but I definitely recommend to get your belts in better position. I noticed how you lean forward when you shift. At that point a factory 3 point would be sufficient. You want harnesses tight. An accident and it’d hurt more than help with your torso whipping between the seat and harness. With the shoulders tight on you you’re eliminating upper body movement making your shifts better without and more precise.
It will make you feel more connected to the car and will lead to better times, I’m sure of it.
I hope you and anyone reading this takes it to heart and at least gives it a try.
Keep up the great work!
Without a doubt one of the best sounding LS engines I've ever heard.
Ya'll need to make a George shirt with one of his lines lol! Dude his hilarious! Also the Wife is the real Mvp!
The footage on that 3rd burnout was definitely commercial worthy. That was a badass shot.
You your family and your crew are genuinely awesome people. Cool to watch y'all grow and expand. Thanks for the great content
Awesome to see Sam on the strip! Keep kicking ass Jeremy! You and your crew🤙🏼
I love watching you guys! It feels way more home grown for the most part. Fighting bugs like we would in the world
Uncle Sam's idle is freaking sick! I could listen to that thing idle for hours! I love hearing that old school chop coming out of a new gen car. It's great!
Rub some grease around the seal of the cooler lid and it'll seal every time. 🇺🇸
James Smith
Hell even some dielectric grease or non drying silicone.
Pure Silicone grease because other greases can damage the seal
Bacon fat...
Green boat grease
Faucet grease is water resistant and good for high temps. Faucet grease is the way to go.
@ 9:30 Squirrel was ready to party on some supercharger water. LOL
17:25. Got to get a lil more out that water box. Ya slinging water all over the inside of that fender ..
Can build whole vehicles, but can't seal a box...LoL.Those 'Mini Fridges'are great for these.I don't know why they can't get it sealed.
@@bryduhbikeguy He meant the burnout water box, not the ice tank in the car.
Glad to see the car actually hook toward the end! Good driving Jeremy! 😎😎🤘🏻🤘🏻
Hot damn uncle sam sounds so good rollin down the track, so glad to see it hook up and go
11:10 soothes my ears
Uncle Sam sounds wicked. It has one of the best exhaust sound.
Burnout at 10:40 looks like a professional production. Good Job!
Listening while cooking supper. Gotta go back and watch now. Love dem dawgs - should go to end and watch them first !
Kick a pow 😂😂😂 that’s funny glad to see Uncle Sam finally make hits. Hope to see him at beach bend this year
Looked like it was a little rowdy in, I think 2nd gear, but anytime you can drive it back on the trailer without a list of things to repair, I'd call that a good outing. Hell yeah, Uncle Sam ! 😎
Congratulations. Uncle Sam is SICK!
I love your videos. Twenty minutes of technical discussion and how-tos and screaming engines and burning tires and then OMG THEY'RE SO FLUFFY I WANNA DIE
Great job getting Uncle Sam there!!! Sounds great!!!
All the new race gear looks great guys and uncle sam looks great and its great to see him out again
george is a maniac!!!! keep it up guys!!! love this channel
On the back of that dudes shirt..."run your car not your mouth." Thats awesome! 🇺🇲🏁
Man that thing sounds so awesome. Great job team. You guys can build anything and make it work. BTW the hoods open man lol.... love it.
Awesome video guys! Love the progress on uncle sam
Love seeing the ingenuity and using what you've got! Ive been thinking about the tank and I cant help but think that some foam inside the tank would stop the sloshing and keep the water from coming out the lid.....might be worth a shot?
Great job guys yall are getting there keep up the great work 👍
Uncle Sam sounds sooo good going down the track!!
It’s moving out hard🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hands down to me it's one of the best sounding cars in both your's and Cleatus's Fleets, just absolutely perfect...
"I know last time we were talking safety, safety, safety. But I'm about to do some really sketchy stuff here. I wheel coming off is definitely in our future."
You are really blessed to have such a cool out going wife :)
That exhaust THE ABSOLUTE FREAKIN NUTS!
I love the car content but Seeing NORMAN at the end just makes my day. He is a beautiful Golden. I had a black lab and my dogs facial expressions looked almost the same as Normans. Probably why I light up when I see him. My hairy, four legged son died back in 2010 at the age of 17. Norman struts like Shadow did. What is your hope for the speed of Uncle Sam ? Do you want 9's, 8's, or are low 10's the goal ?
My goodness, I love how this car sounds.
“Hey that’s just something to build on” -Jeremy too many times to count😂
Jeremy that part with your reaction to that bad assed two step was my favorite.
Hey guys for your hood gap, make a vinyl in white that says OPEN place it in the gap when the hood is OPEN so that it’s visible by the track staff. With font size you can adjust the placement so it’s not seen when hoods closed.
Third time was a charm!! Third pass was looking mighty nice 👍
The back brakes only do about 15 to 25% of your stopping. All the work is done with the front brakes. They system you have set up will work just fine till about the 220 mph range. Now if you want to go out on a road course. You might want to swap the bigger kit back in. But what you have done is perfect for drag racing. It is time to have your guy fab you up a real water tank for that thing.
Thanks for the video Jeremy!
Jeremy you always say "I'm going to take it easy" on everything, freaking send it already dad!
I missed out on the races last week, cause of the rain. I will be back down next month though. The first time I "actually drove" a car, was the car I now own... at Bradenton. So basically... I mean "hypothetically"... I was "13yo" and my "uncle" got me in to a "race"... that "I" also "lost" :)... Would be awesome to race there again one day in the same car! But it was stolen, stripped and I`m starting my rebuild again... but one day, some day, In some universe... I will make it happen "again", damn it!
Glad you got something to build on.
Great work!!
Great content thanks for sharing
I think your clutch pedal makes a "yip" noise, and on headphones it sounds like one of your boys yelling "yeeyee!"
Good to see Uncle Sam making some steam at the track. 👍👍
Jeezus Jeremy! Get it together!
2:11 what you hiding man! I know what a good ol Busch looks like! Haha
Jordan Thomas busteddddd
Uncle Sam is beautiful Jeremy!! Dont let anyone tell you different!!
When Sam was originally built in Australia it had no idea of the life it had ahead. Awesome!
Wooooo HELL YEAH BROTHER!!!!!! Uncle Sam sounds nasty!!!! She hungry and boooyyyy she’s on the hunt!!!! Great work boys
Brakes are probably the one and only thing I don't want to mess with on a budget fab job. Especially at high speed.
6:25 that guy sounds like the alien from when Rick is in a simulation inside of a simulation 😅
The filming on that third pass was movie quality 👍
Nice driving Jermey
3:15 That chop from the car in the background is insane.
Sounds so right.
Mister Zachary would approve
@@alexelrod242 This is what I like to see. Someone that knows what I'm referencing.
Hell yeah brother.
Good ole Laz and Squirrel...or whatever his name was with the S10 and the mullet...🤣🤣🤣
That car sounds great going through the gears
hell yeah you got yourself a ripper!
Lol Wife drops knowledge about manual swap I love it my girl would say the same sh**
whhooooo that was bad ass 👏👏👏 looked like you bout snaped your neck when slam'n them gears,,,,, hell'a powerful
Sounds good, Jeremy.
Sounds so freaking good
Uncle Sam is on the move!!!🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
why does the old hole on the trailing arm scare me...plug n weld it boys!
No Weak Links!
Man that supercharger sounds so good
car sounds so good!
Georgie is total Ricky Bobby! Love it.!!
Awesome!!
Anyone else feel like he is your dad you never had?
I love my dad but it always feels like Jeremy is my dad when he talks to me and imparts knowledge.
Uncle Sam sounds amazing.
The Vette also has a different bolt pattern. Chev was 120.65 and Commodore is 5x120. As is late Camaro. Centre Bore is smaller as well.
Your suspension mods have created if anything positive camber.
Funny prank idea: Show potential backseat passengers the front seat safety equip and ask if they want a ride. Then have just a milk-crate, rope, and doors that won't latch in the backseat.
Man, that's SOMETHING to build on!
....something to build on
We've got something to build on!
Looks like you need to put some adjustable shocks on that puppy. When shifting, the suspension unloads and then has to reload under throttle, killing forward movement. A set of adjustable shocks would keep the weight transfer on the rear end and help your ET. My 2 cents :)
That car sounded real good like lots of power
UncleSam is one of my favorite cars on the interwebs. I have faith.
J talks the talk, waiting on the walk.....
@4:19... best thing ever. Soak that up. ❤
New shirt. Thats Something to Build On!
Im glad i watched the whole video and didnt start chirping about the motor mounts right away haha. Seems you already knew.
That last pass was something to build on
My manual 1.4t Cruze eco daily is like that on the tach, as well. They're sooooo slow! First gear, you have to shift when the tach says 5500, or it'll hit the 6800 rev limiter. Second isn't quite as bad, and above that is fine. Tach is just super slow.
Sweet!
tell me again.... what mufflers are you running? my car is way to loud, love the sound of uncle sam!
I agree. That's what stands out to me about this car.
Lol mufflers will do nothing for your car sounding like this
Speed engineering
@@BEASST thank you! i remember now he had the kit for the camaro and extended it to work! thanks
@@Cronus_1 first time I've ever seen Kraig spelled with a K like mine lol everyone is C.
