Shocked by how they made so many changes in an entire decade, I went there in 2016 (yeah I know it’s not a decade but still) before the jewel was built and I already found the airport very nice! This year I am returning but I won’t b leaving the airport cause it’s a 3 hour layover 😔
World's best Airport! Jewel Changi Airport is simply Beautiful... Thanks for bringing us here,it was an enjoyable experience walking with you... Have a safe flight! And enjoy vacation... Greetings from Dubai.
Thank you so much for this video. I have a flight tomorrow morning but wanted to visit the Jewel before I fly. So this video showed me how to make this tour one day before at only the taxi costs to and from my residence.👍🏽😊👏🏼
I'm from Sg and we love jewel 💎😁 We love our airport. Alot of locals go there to eat, drink, shop and for the attractions. It's really a great big mall 😃
I'll bet. I'd probably go there at least once a week just to listen to the planes. Not to mention, I love nature, so I hope they planted a large variety of plants and trees there just like in a real rain forest. That variety is what makes trees far healthier, because they're much less susceptible to fungi. In the real rain forest, any time something tries to eat the bark or even the leaves of some trees, they produce a poison, so as to protect the trees and allow the leaves to flourish. Those tannins are also what makes them smell so good along with the chlorofil. This is also why when you visit the rainforest, it has a very fresh, almost terpintine aroma, because that protects some of the trees. In the fall, the aroma is stronger, because the chlorophil is released which contributes to the coloring of the leaves. I love that freshness, because it clears up my allergies. Man-made forests do not allow for these protective tannins and phytochemicals, and hence, people suffer much worse as well from all these allergies. We could learn a thing or two from nature, and I hope it's not too late!
Yes, New Manila International Airport will be as good as Changi Airport, if the Owner is a Foreign Company, with a Joint Venture of Either Metro Pacific Corporations, or San Miguel Corporation Infrastructure, and NMIA will have a waterfall masterpiece Mall on its Middle of the Terminal, but, with a different and More Futuristic design than the Changi Airport, and this Mall will have Connections to PNR-NSCR (Completion Date of Phase 4: June-December 2031, or December 2033), Manila Metro Lines 1 (North Extension), 3 (Northwest Extension), 7 (Airport extension), and More.
I plan on flying from the United States to Manila, Philippines on Singapore Airlines with a stop in Singapore. I have a 4 hour layover in Singapore and would like to visit the Changi Jewel while waiting for my connecting flight to Manila. I understand that I would have to go through immigration in order to visit the Jewel. How difficult would that be? I wouldn't have any luggage since it will be transferring to my connecting flight, it would be just myself and wouldn't be leaving the airport building or property.
@@TourFromHomeTV I have another question. Do I need a visa to pass through immigration to visit the Jewel? Also, will I need to go through airport security to get back to the gate for my connecting flight. Just want to allow myself enough time to enjoy Jewel in still make my connecting flight. Thank you!
This is just Such an ODD thing to have built in an airport…while it is Spectacular, it doesn’t really add much to the efficiency of travel…it’s lovely, but it doesn’t serve any real purpose…
Good thing you can skip the terminal part with a simple click of a mouse or screen! How hard can that be? Some people want to see the terminal and some want the Jewel only. Isn't it better to film BOTH to cater BOTH AUDIENCES? Btw the title of the video is Jewel Changi AIRPORT. Keyword = AIRPORT. This is not JEWEL only walking tour.

Changi Airport has come a long long way. Truly the most sparkling Jewel in Singapore's Crown! Mabuhay and Cheers from The Philippines!

I miss that airport. It's like a big mall and you won't get bored while waiting for your connecting flight.

Easy! Singapore has one of the fastest immigration processes in the world. 4 hrs is plenty and you’ll be able to enjoy Jewel. Safe travels!
@@TourFromHomeTV Thank you for the quick reply! Looking forward to my trip!

You’ll have to research more to understand WHY this was built and implemented. It’s NOT about the efficiency of travel.
Too much time spent walking the terminal, rather than exploring The Jewel !
