The new Assault rifle that both Finland and Sweden will use is made by "Sako" a renowned Finnish rifle maker. It will have 2 AR and 1 sniper. So 1 5.56 NATO round and 7.62 NATO round and the sniper will be 338 Lapua. It's sort of based on AR platform a little bit in the receiver. But a new design. The name, well the militaries will have designation. Knowing Sweden like AK6. I think it will be great. Both Sweden and Finland is getting a lot closer in many military projects because we have the same nature, geography and needs.
Ok. This video is actually rather informative. Ok, It's very informative and interesting. How do you know Sweden will buy the tempest? Also. Torpedo 47 (SLWT) has a range of 20+ km, prepared for 50+ km and not 300 meters. HMS Artemis has been in service since 2019. Wow. I didn't know about CB90H, ENFORCER III and it more or less being used as a drone. Sweden aborted it's acquirement of RBS 58.. Really good video. I liked it alot.
ÖBs report and recommendations to the government clearly states that the armed forces need a new antitank weapon system within the next ten years. They have dusted off old RB56s to fill the gap until they get the new weapons. But RB58, in what ever shape that might be (a French missile seems very likely at this point) will become a reality in a few years
Sweden is one of the founders of the tempest, along with Britain and i think france, It would only make sense if sweden had some because of them being one of the founders of the jet.
@@konstakontkanen1201 Sweden has a memorandum of understanding. They are not locked into buying the Tempest, but have an interest and have some development involved with it. I think Sweden is fielding their options this early.
Sweden still have a long coastline with a lot of islands. That hasn't changed after 2020. In case of a conflict between NATO and Russia that are eill be crusial.
Ahem that new 6×6 armored carrier is made by Patria lands and it is Finnish peoduct not joint manufactured but some countries are manufactured it by licensi to there personal use. So that 6×6 is Finnish manufactured and Sweaden has deal whir Patria on those vehicles.
@@大日本帝国-k2s Not literally but you can define it that way, the swedish government said they are joining only with funding from foreign parties and they are only looking into the project alike Turkey.
SAAB is partial owners of BAE Systems creating the Tempest, and SAAB is the Swedish military's company for creating vehicles/weapons for Sweden, and as they are basically under a contract they only build what the Swedish AF wants them to build. So asking them to create something and then just jump out of the program makes no sense
Yes,my friend from finland-but the idiotic swedes sold Namno to Finland/Norway. So it was swedish from the beginning and remain so for a very long time. (So stupid to sell one of the worlds biggest handgun ammunition maker...Typical "hurri"..Scania,Volvo,Absolut Vodka!? All gone..
Great 👍

Finnish Patria, Nammo & Sako, good choices🫡
Bad*
nammo makes the best ammo and sako is one of top manufacturers in rifles
