Question: I noticed that if I just let the boat go all the way to the dock, the archers in the two towers will attack all the portals along the way, they do enough damage to knock down all the stones (with archer statue), but not enough to destroy the portal; so could this be a viable strategy to destroy portals?
That's interesting, I guess it depends what sort of playthrough you're going for. If you want to destroy all portals then it might be a useful way to reduce the health of the portals on the dock side of the island, but if you're only trying to destroy cliff side portals then it won't be helpful. If we assume you're trying to destroy all portals then it's still a little limited. You could use it in a way to reduce the health of portals as you leave the island so you can come back and finish them another time. E.g. leaving the 2nd island for the first time, you won't have been able to destroy the cliff portal, so you could leave without destroying any portals, damaging the dock side ones from the boat so they're a little easier to finish off when you get back. The upside of this is that not fully destroying the portals means you won't have harder blood moons yet, so islands 4 and 5 won't be as difficult. The downside is that you won't be able to build the lighthouse before leaving on island 1, 2 or 3, meaning it would take a few more coins to rebuild the boat once you've returned and want to leave again It's an interesting thought but I don't think it'd be too useful in a playthrough, just looks pretty cool. Also, I have no idea if portal health is persistent when traveling between islands, so you may get back and portals could've fully healed anyway
Hey, I just realized that whenever I set sail and the dock portals are still intact, my archers on-board are just shooting at dock-side portals and almost destroying the normal portals with impunity. Thoughts on using this exploit to get lighthouses easier if you have decent economies for every island?
It's a risky one, because it can mean you'll be facing very hard retaliation waves for future portals you destroy. But it's definitely an interesting thing you could exploit if you're looking to destroy all portals before cliff portals anyway
The boat needs builders to come and move it back to the dock. If you travel with builders then they'll start moving it once they land, otherwise it may take a long time for builders to get to the boat and move it.
Your castle and defenses will stay the same on island 3 when you leave. If you leave for a long time, some of the walls may need to be rebuilt/repaired, but this is quite cheap compared to building new walls. Your castle will stay the same on that island regardless of how long you leave for. I hope that helps 🙂
Thanks, it's definitely a video I'm going to make, just really busy at the moment and need to do another playthrough to get good footage of the Loki staff and other little interactions, so it'll be at least a month before I get round to creating it.
One thing, im in the first island and i have to pay for the entire hull also if i buy too much peices of the hull the greed will spawn and i cant buy anymore peices until a builder uses them or the greed steal them
Are you playing the regular campaign or Norse lands? I've found I had to pay for more parts of the boat on the first island after returning but not sure if that's an update to the whole game or just a mechanic of Norse lands. If you're unable to buy more pieces of the boat it means you've bought all the pieces, they're just on the floor and waiting for builders to attach them
It doesn't slow decaying on your walls. The higher level lighthouses just take longer to decay after your walls have decayed. (Think I'm gonna make a video to explain decay)
Yeah, it takes quite a lot of days to take effect (don't really know the numbers) kingdomthegame.fandom.com/wiki/Decay There's some speculation about the days it takes each type of wall to decay while you're away but haven't been able to find any real proof and haven't tested myself. People have said an iron wall takes about 30 days to decay
Haha. Unless I'm remembering wrong, it shouldn't affect plague island because you're always on the same island. Decay only starts affecting an island when you're not on it.

Excellent video absolutely astounding, I now know big knowledge
I actually didn't know that the lighthouses deteriorate.
Great vids Poss
I don't think they do, I think they make your walls and stuff last longer before they start decaying... at least that's thats what I've heard
Tip on having a lot of coins while leaving drop as much of coin near the boat then refill the pouch
0:50 what does that little guy near the boat ? i encountered him and gave him a diamond for only him to just simply give it back to me..

I have an issue with my boat just staying at the dock by the lighthouse when I return to an island, and I can’t sail off to another island.

please help, if i at island 3 and wanting to travel back to island 1, do my castle will renew or they stay the at the same status when i leave? 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Hey i like your videos a lot. I was wondering if you could make something like a best mounts or weapons for norse lands? That would be great!

Does the lighthouse make the decaying process slower?

Theres decay?!?!?

Hey bro how to select norse land mode
It's a paid DLC you have to have installed, and then you can select it when starting a new campaign
How to in mobile
I don't have it on mobile so I'm not sure, but it says it's an in-app purchase, so there should be a way to purchase it in the game menus
Ok thank
Now i know everthink
I like trains
Yay!
