All my friends who i played this with are now married with kids. when i hear this it just reminds me of the simple times when we just hung out eating pizza and playing halo without a care in the world.
God, all those years I actually spent playing halo are finally getting to me... all the days I spent playing with a good friend, who is now dead... all the days I spent playing with family who is now moving on to different places. My halo days were awesome... I still remember when I beat a friend in a round of PvP, she's now appearantly in another country. Hell, it brings tears to my eyes, knowing that of all things I've gone through, I still have good memories from the best days of my life... and like the title says... I'll never forget. :')

January 13th 2022, we have finally finished the fight. It was an honor to play this amazing game with this great community. I am hopeful that MCC will continue to prosper and keep Halo 3 in the gaming scene for a long time in the future.

I am here on the night of January 12, 2022. The Xbox 360 servers are shutting down tomorrow. Halo 3 will always be my favorite videogame. Nothing can change that. I will never forget the memories and friends I've made. All the sleepless nights I spent playing customs, or playing the campaign on legendary with my friends. All the frustration of the VidMaster challenges, and the sense of accomplishment that came with completing them. Getting all the skulls and unlocking Hayabusa. Or driving a warthog on Sand Trap seeing how long I could outrun the mines. Or flipping the Elephant for the first time. As stupid as it may sound, I am tearing up as I write this. A 22 year old man crying over a videogame. Because I know the game I loved so much as a child will never be the same. Farewell, Spartans. It's been an honor playing the best game ever made with you. And farewell to you, Halo 3. You will be missed. Nothing could truly take your place.
Stayed up till 5:30 AM playing Halo 3 last night as a final hurrah to this masterpiece of a game. Found so many people in game chat and who wanted to party up and goof off as we reminisced over how this game impacted our lives. Ages spanned from 18 year olds who were barely old enough to game back then getting started with halo 3/ Reach, to old folks like me who were in high school when Halo 3 came out and now have bills and responsibilities. It was nice to let it all fade away for a moment and remember the times we had with this game and with this franchise. From the Halo 2 LAN parties in my freshman and Sophomore years of HS where we would stay up all night playing and then sleep all the next day, to the custom games and online friendships forged in Halo 3 and Reach. There hasn't been anything quite like it since and I wish there was. I hope we return one day to pre and post game lobbies, the ability to party up in social playlists, and a reason to be present in public chat and not just in parties with our current friends. I added more people last night playing Halo 3 than I have in a long time. RIP Halo 3 and Reach. You were the best and transformed a lot of lives. While I can play the games still on MCC, it will never recapture the magic of the original versions. Rest well, you've earned it. And like any good spartan (propaganda) you're not really dead, just missing in action.
Halo Xbox 360 servers have been shut I will always remember that amazing experience of playing big team battle on halo 3 or fending off waves of covenant with friends in reach. Rest in piece halo 3 multiplayer you brought me and so many people joy.

I only played Halo 3 last month, since I'm playing all the master chief collection. Even then, that sentence it's me like a punch in the face, the emotions. It's like I had played Halo 3 at the time. It just shows how special this game is.

I remember,a cold winters day I was playing with my friends on forge,we would do this every week create a map hopping we would get on bungies favourites but we never did and we continued because we made memories,we made more then just that we made a universe just for us to escape reality and to make a new forge map Most the friends I had came from halo 3 which includes my girlfriend as well I’ll miss all the good times on this amazing game and for anyone seeing this I salute you as a fellow gamer

Bungie, if u ever come across this. I just would like u to know that if u ever want to take up Halo again, I would gladly welcome u back with open arms. Cause thats what this game has always done for me in the past. I've always enjoyed playing with my dad on this game ever since it came out. He actually bought it for Christmas, Wich made it extremely special. Playing co-op missions and thinking of fun ways to play in forge mode and customs. Now I'm 20 years old, lost alot of friends, got a job, graduated, and planing on makin a game myself but I want to do animation. To make it short: this game has given me the best years of my life that I wished I could go back and live again. But as time moves on, we all have to also. Things will be different in the future, maybe even a little bit worse, but it's times like these that I can say that I'm glad for all the times I've had and that I get to look back on the past I had. thanks for the memories, Bungie.
I’m 18 and I can relate to this comment nothing meant more as a little kid then playing halo cre with my dad for the first time halo is the first game to ever spark my interest in video games the feeling it gave me the fun times I’ve had with my dad and friends on halo 1 2 and 3 the nostalgia is real the music makes me cry everytime just thinking about how much this game helped me through tuff times and had such an impact on my life this game has shaped me into a more peaceful loving carding person based off the heroism and music alone the will to finish the fight and believe I love halo halo is one of the most special things to ever grace my soul there will never be another game movie book or anything that will ever compare to how halo has impacted my life now that I’m 18 and I’ve Graduated and I’m off doing adult shit now looking back I wish I could travel back in time to the good old days I can’t wait for halo infinite to hopefully be the true successor to halo 3 it’s been 20 years this game has been in my life longer than I’ve been alive…bc my dad bought halo ce when it first came out in 2001 I wasn’t even born yet but man I was not ready for how special my life was about to become in the next 4-5 years playing halo ce and halo 2 some of the first games I’ve ever played this game is truly special to me

It is jan 13th, halo 3 finally went down and I was there at the end with my friends that I met on it so long ago. I am so happy of what it brought me from memories to friends. I cried when it disconnected today. Maybe Infinite will carry on the legacy as we all hope

This past year was rough, so many things flooting around my head, keeping me up at night. This makes fall asleep with smile and on the worst days it draws out the tears that wouldn't come out. I'm a man and something about this music.... the nostalgia, the reminiscences of a simple, stress free time in my life, before the world pushed my on the ground over and over again, it fills me with the will to fight no matter what. Halo did so much for me and it still does to this day. I those late night halo 3 custom games so much I could cry... Stay strong everybody, we'll finish our fight. We are still out there and maybe one day we will return hall to it's former glory.

Sergio Carranza Thanks man. I am a firm believer in god. I kept praying for him to help me find peace and it felt like one day I woke up and my problems was washed away. The doctor once told us that my dad had cancer, we went to multiple doctor, all had the same result. He told us to call everyone and asked them to pray and the last doctor we went to before starting chemotherapy said that it was gone.
Mad Matt I know this is old but I’ve been in the same spot missing the good old days when I wasn’t so stressed and angry at how my life is going. I miss being a kid and not having to worry. Everyone I thought was my friend has left me as I got my shit together at the end of high school and it’s been hard. Trying to tell myself that at least I’m working and getting an education and making something of myself but I can’t help but feel empty without friends by me. My faith has grown though through the last year so I’ll always be grateful for the pain but hearing this just takes me back..anyway I’m sorry for the rant man. Just beat halo 3 for maybe the 1000th time today. And I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it’s a masterpiece; Not because the graphics were phenomenal for the time, Not because the gameplay was perfect, Not because this was the best multiplayer, Not because of the high replay value, Not even because he campaign was amazing and the rightful conclusion to the franchise. No, because after 12 damn years, it still has such strong emotional resonance and feelings that reside in my heart unparalleled to almost anything. The memories it bring has such a strong euphoria. The days of family and friends coming and making memories every weekend, back when life was simple. Still after 12 years it makes me smile and almost cry whenever this track comes on. This is the reason Halo 3 is a masterpiece, and I will “Never Forget”.

I remember the old days, used to play this, im a doctor now, but I reshuffled my old xbox360 the 2006 model, and placed in Halo 3, logged into xbox live, aaand all my friends who I used to play *last connection 3 days ago* it gave me hope, hope of one of this days remember of what I used to live back when halo 3 came out, im crying right now, one of my old friends messaged me 3 hours ago, and sayed "want to play H3 like in the old times? i still have my 360, even tho i play with xbox one now" rapidly i went and bought right now a 3 month gold membership, so if i have free time, play with at least him, maaaaan the memories!!!
On this week, we acknowledge the end of the 360 services, the end of many things. I loved playing this game for the few times I did, when I see all these beautiful nostalgic memories I wish I had made them with you all. An era passes and with it the opportunity to have been a part of the community, 2007-2021, 14 years of an epic conclusion still bringing people joy. My brother and I may never play fully through the Halo campaigns now, but that's ok, if we ever need to we can just play some split screen and see the endings. I wish you all the best of luck throughout your lives, hopefully some bad things get good and good things get better, I've loved this game for the time I was allowed to. Please have a good day, and remember that it's ok to let this go. That's something I'm only now realizing, I'll move on, but never forget.

It’s a game that thousands of people spent years of their livelihoods, their professional careers, making and using as a creative outlet to carefully craft into something artful, something beautiful and thought-provoking, but also fun and unifying. To this day people take it very seriously, both the producers and consumers. That’s what life is all about, engaging in your passions and doing what you love and engaging in what stimulates your mind and soul. We’ll never forget being a part of that community.

I’m getting married in less than 2 months, and I am still friends with all the guys I used to play this with. So many memories of linking our Xbox’s for a LAN party for 8 player Valhalla. My one hope going forward is that when the rest of my friends get married and have kids, we will pass on our memories of this game and hopefully they will play with each other, just like we did.

I got this game when I was 6 or 7. That was when I fell in love with Halo. My first true love. I’ve been wanting another story as good as this was. Even though I never knew Sargent Johnson for long I still cried at his death. When halo ends, I want it to go out. Out with a bang.
FYI for anyone who doesn't have all the achievements you'll still probably be able to get them after the shutdown, but you'll have to do it through system link or LAN.

There are still gonna be ones that are unobtainable like the fileshare achievements in Reach. Feel free to correct me on any of this.
*I didn't grow up with friends who played this but family and when I listened to this soundtrack growing up, it hit me hard because of my connection to lore. To me this song reflects everything that happened to humanity and the UNSC.*
I mostly remember me always trying to keep all my npc companions alive during the campaign and if one died it'd actually bring me to tears. Oh and I remember getting basically bullied by my older siblings if we were playing against each other.
When I was an autistic dweeb back in middle school I would sit by myself and hum halo songs. Still I wouldn’t trade those wonderous memories for the world. We’re a special few who grew with these works of art. Never forget those who went into the howling dark and did not return.

I have people all the time yelling at me saying that Call of duty is so much better than Halo... but the fact alone that the Music by itself can make a Halo player cry of emotion and for fucks sake ppl who don't even play halo.... the music alone...brings back happy memories ... and sad ones... it makes me Emotional... and the story is enough to break your heart... that's what makes Halo so much better.. the soul of the community is so much better and Stronger than any other game.. This song brings back so many memories, me and my older sister playing Slayer together and doing some campaign missions like Crows Nest or The Ark, sometimes my dad or my uncle would play with me and my sis, me and my dad played some co-op in Halo 3 and my uncle would play some firefight with me and my sis when ODST was new and fresh, cherish the moments you have with these games, because one day...you’ll never be able to play them again, and in december, 360 Halo...will be shut down...

All these people all these games and even the marines without names have made me laugh got me through hard times, I have learned so much from the people that never existed or may never exist. Nostalgia really hits, I remember playing with my friends on forge and my favorite map was sandtrap and I remember trying to get out of bounds with the big elephants but I couldn't get them uphill and if I tried a tank the rockets would get me but I always did with the banshee but can never go past the wall
Ive made lifelong friends in halo, people I would have never met otherwise. I remember falling asleep on my couch with this song playing in the main menu of a custom lobby, headset on still. Friends yelling to wake me up. just so we could play a few more rounds of hide and seek or griffball. Its hard to obtain these moments today. With life and work. Im now older, with my own home, job, and bills to pay. But every now and then I make sometime to play some games, always searching for a game to give me the child like wonder that halo gave me. Im excited for the new halo coming out. I hope its good, even if its shit, ill love it. And I hope my buds will be online to play again, makes sometime in the future for us all to take a vacation and play some swat. Miss you guys
I find myself coming back to this song quite often. It brings me back to a time of comfort, of less worry. The only things that mattered were having fun with my friends on Halo 3. Going through the campaign, playing ranked trying to get as high of a level as we could, endless fun custom games, making maps on forge together. Every day after school, partying up and having some of the best times of our life. We didn't even know it at the time. I'm almost 26 now and i'd do anything to back to those days. It hurts knowing it won't ever be the same, though im glad most of us here got to experience it. Rest in peace Halo 3, rest in peace my childhood. Never forget

Family just aren't here by my side. I lost so much. I have to see my Grandmother every night dying in front of me and being lay down for the final time that I would see her until we meet again in Heaven. My best friend I will never be able to talk to him again. His parents don't want him to have a phone anymore. My two friends killed themselves. My families don't want to speak to me anymore.
This is just a positive comment, not a depressing one. I'm very happy that I was able to experience my 2000s with Halo. I'm happy because it happened, not sad because it's finished.
Thank you to the OGs for passing the control to me and to the new generation that loves halo I know I wasn't there to experience I love bees or LAN parties but I know that they were fun it was fun playing with my friend when he would come over and we stay up playing halo 3 because it was the best that we had when we were younger we had halo 4 but for some reason I like 3 more then 4 and now being able to actually play throug the rest of the story and experience a little bit what you guys felt it makes me happy that I engoyed this series I wish I could have been there to Just have a good time with friends and family or being so happy for the new release and seeing people that we have met before in our game lobbys I wosh I could have played one more game before servers shut down I hope this community dose better seeing that 343 won't make another halo game and there only focusing on seasons now who knows when the next big thing will happen it took them 6 years to make a unfinished game that could have had so much potential I miss you bungie I wish gaming was fun like it was then and I'm happy that I got to finish the fight thank you for passing the controller and giving me and others a game that would be so fun to play I will never forget this game and I will pass it down fire others to remember where it all started thank you all for helping me finish the fight.

Around 12 years old I had never played a halo game. Until the. The closest I got to it was playing battlefront. The day after I played it with my dad he suggested we play halo together. I was pretty exited have long never been allowed to play it before. Now I’ve gotten to play all the games up until reach with him but have moved away from home to be more independent. Since then my father has decided to stop playing games entirely. (He feels they are bad for his mental health) I deeply miss my him. Listening to this soundtrack reminds me of all the good times we had. It was the closest I have ever been to him. I’ll never forget how many times he stayed up after a late night of work just so we could play together. Thank you dad. For all the memories.
You know it’s an amazing game when 13 years later you are just listening to the main menu music. Halo 3 will forever hold a special place in my heart, I’ve never been so excited for a game to release. I even preordered (the first and only time I’ve done so) the game and even got a free hat that I still have to this day. Having my friends over and all of us playing vs or messing around on forge. My Dad and I beating the campaign and talking about it/acting out scenes when we were not playing. Taking about the campaign and seeing who beat it on legendary in school. This game just blew me away with the graphics, the game play, forge, match making, videos and photos, and the soundtrack. Not to mention the marketing, the trailers and tv ads. They advertised it in a way that you weren’t playing a game.....you were saving the world

I miss my halo friends from so long ago on xbox 360, we would get on every weekend and have fun. Wish I had that again and not having to look at their sleeping profiles that say they haven't been on in years
I don’t think I’ve ever made as many friends and memories with a game as much as I have with halo. So many of the memories have been one of the only things that have kept me going this past year after getting out of the military, and trying to get my life together.

This game taught me about Clans met some awesome people on here around 08-09. I'm usually a COD guy that's where I'm played with personal friends. But on here it was just fun No Personal Beef! No competition on who' was better. Just team up and have a blast until 3-4 AM. Halo 3 was truly special game, hope my clanmates are doing good. #Hayabusaarmorsquad

God, all those years I actually spent playing halo are finally getting to me... all the days I spent playing with a good friend, who is now dead... all the days I spent playing with family who is now moving on to different places. My halo days were awesome... I still remember when I beat a friend in a round of PvP, she's now appearantly in another country. Hell, it brings tears to my eyes, knowing that of all things I've gone through, I still have good memories from the best days of my life... and like the title says... I'll never forget. :')

The servers are finally down. What a hell of a ride it’s been Spartans. I’m glad I got be apart of this community for years.
I am here on the night of January 12, 2022. The Xbox 360 servers are shutting down tomorrow. Halo 3 will always be my favorite videogame. Nothing can change that. I will never forget the memories and friends I've made. All the sleepless nights I spent playing customs, or playing the campaign on legendary with my friends. All the frustration of the VidMaster challenges, and the sense of accomplishment that came with completing them. Getting all the skulls and unlocking Hayabusa. Or driving a warthog on Sand Trap seeing how long I could outrun the mines. Or flipping the Elephant for the first time. As stupid as it may sound, I am tearing up as I write this. A 22 year old man crying over a videogame. Because I know the game I loved so much as a child will never be the same. Farewell, Spartans. It's been an honor playing the best game ever made with you. And farewell to you, Halo 3. You will be missed. Nothing could truly take your place.

Stayed up till 5:30 AM playing Halo 3 last night as a final hurrah to this masterpiece of a game. Found so many people in game chat and who wanted to party up and goof off as we reminisced over how this game impacted our lives. Ages spanned from 18 year olds who were barely old enough to game back then getting started with halo 3/ Reach, to old folks like me who were in high school when Halo 3 came out and now have bills and responsibilities. It was nice to let it all fade away for a moment and remember the times we had with this game and with this franchise. From the Halo 2 LAN parties in my freshman and Sophomore years of HS where we would stay up all night playing and then sleep all the next day, to the custom games and online friendships forged in Halo 3 and Reach. There hasn't been anything quite like it since and I wish there was. I hope we return one day to pre and post game lobbies, the ability to party up in social playlists, and a reason to be present in public chat and not just in parties with our current friends. I added more people last night playing Halo 3 than I have in a long time. RIP Halo 3 and Reach. You were the best and transformed a lot of lives. While I can play the games still on MCC, it will never recapture the magic of the original versions. Rest well, you've earned it. And like any good spartan (propaganda) you're not really dead, just missing in action.

I only played Halo 3 last month, since I'm playing all the master chief collection. Even then, that sentence it's me like a punch in the face, the emotions. It's like I had played Halo 3 at the time. It just shows how special this game is.

Now I'm 20 years old, lost alot of friends, got a job, graduated, and planing on makin a game myself but I want to do animation.
To make it short: this game has given me the best years of my life that I wished I could go back and live again.
But as time moves on, we all have to also. Things will be different in the future, maybe even a little bit worse, but it's times like these that I can say that I'm glad for all the times I've had and that I get to look back on the past I had.

It is jan 13th, halo 3 finally went down and I was there at the end with my friends that I met on it so long ago. I am so happy of what it brought me from memories to friends. I cried when it disconnected today. Maybe Infinite will carry on the legacy as we all hope

This past year was rough, so many things flooting around my head, keeping me up at night. This makes fall asleep with smile and on the worst days it draws out the tears that wouldn't come out. I'm a man and something about this music.... the nostalgia, the reminiscences of a simple, stress free time in my life, before the world pushed my on the ground over and over again, it fills me with the will to fight no matter what. Halo did so much for me and it still does to this day. I those late night halo 3 custom games so much I could cry... Stay strong everybody, we'll finish our fight. We are still out there and maybe one day we will return hall to it's former glory.

Sergio Carranza Thanks man. I am a firm believer in god. I kept praying for him to help me find peace and it felt like one day I woke up and my problems was washed away. The doctor once told us that my dad had cancer, we went to multiple doctor, all had the same result. He told us to call everyone and asked them to pray and the last doctor we went to before starting chemotherapy said that it was gone.

Everyone I thought was my friend has left me as I got my shit together at the end of high school and it’s been hard. Trying to tell myself that at least I’m working and getting an education and making something of myself but I can’t help but feel empty without friends by me. Just beat halo 3 for maybe the 1000th time today. And I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it’s a masterpiece;

Not even because he campaign was amazing and the rightful conclusion to the franchise.
No, because after 12 damn years, it still has such strong emotional resonance and feelings that reside in my heart unparalleled to almost anything. The memories it bring has such a strong euphoria. The days of family and friends coming and making memories every weekend, back when life was simple. Still after 12 years it makes me smile and almost cry whenever this track comes on. This is the reason Halo 3 is a masterpiece, and I will “Never Forget”.

I remember the old days, used to play this, im a doctor now, but I reshuffled my old xbox360 the 2006 model, and placed in Halo 3, logged into xbox live, aaand all my friends who I used to play *last connection 3 days ago* it gave me hope, hope of one of this days remember of what I used to live back when halo 3 came out, im crying right now, one of my old friends messaged me 3 hours ago, and sayed "want to play H3 like in the old times? i still have my 360, even tho i play with xbox one now"

On this week, we acknowledge the end of the 360 services, the end of many things. I loved playing this game for the few times I did, when I see all these beautiful nostalgic memories I wish I had made them with you all. An era passes and with it the opportunity to have been a part of the community, 2007-2021, 14 years of an epic conclusion still bringing people joy. My brother and I may never play fully through the Halo campaigns now, but that's ok, if we ever need to we can just play some split screen and see the endings. I wish you all the best of luck throughout your lives, hopefully some bad things get good and good things get better, I've loved this game for the time I was allowed to. Please have a good day, and remember that it's ok to let this go. That's something I'm only now realizing, I'll move on, but never forget.

Today, Halo 3's 360 servers have shut down. While many others will substitute it, none will live up to the original they so covet. Maybe nothing ever can. And maybe, that's alright. They're what make us continue to believe in the Master Chief, and to believe in him is to believe in hope.

I’m getting married in less than 2 months, and I am still friends with all the guys I used to play this with. So many memories of linking our Xbox’s for a LAN party for 8 player Valhalla. My one hope going forward is that when the rest of my friends get married and have kids, we will pass on our memories of this game and hopefully they will play with each other, just like we did.

There are still gonna be ones that are unobtainable like the fileshare achievements in Reach. Feel free to correct me on any of this.

I have people all the time yelling at me saying that Call of duty is so much better than Halo... but the fact alone that the Music by itself can make a Halo player cry of emotion and for fucks sake ppl who don't even play halo.... the music alone...brings back happy memories ... and sad ones... it makes me Emotional... and the story is enough to break your heart... that's what makes Halo so much better.. the soul of the community is so much better and Stronger than any other game.. This song brings back so many memories, me and my older sister playing Slayer together and doing some campaign missions like Crows Nest or The Ark, sometimes my dad or my uncle would play with me and my sis, me and my dad played some co-op in Halo 3 and my uncle would play some firefight with me and my sis when ODST was new and fresh, cherish the moments you have with these games, because one day...you’ll never be able to play them again, and in december, 360 Halo...will be shut down...

It's always tough to say goodbye to something that defines you as a character so much, halo inf online is good, but it just doesn't have that 3/reach online feel to it, still good, but not that MNT dew Doritos on xbox 360 controller vibe.
I doubt peopel will even see this message, let alone read it, but if you have, thank you for being here during this time of sadness and grieve. Some people may say "It only a game, why you so emotional?".
But it's more than a game franchise, it's what got us through the days of having nothing to do, them Saturday mornings when you woke up at like 7 am, and turned on the xbox, as the sun started to rise, as you join an xbox party on 360, try and get the crappy 360 mics to work, and boot up halo, try not be too loud, as you dont want to wake up family at 7am on a Saturday, so try and be as quite as you can.
So powerful and amazing some songs are, just simply take you back, halo 3 and reach songs, or and ofc difference for darkness aswell.

All these people all these games and even the marines without names have made me laugh got me through hard times, I have learned so much from the people that never existed or may never exist. Nostalgia really hits, I remember playing with my friends on forge and my favorite map was sandtrap and I remember trying to get out of bounds with the big elephants but I couldn't get them uphill and if I tried a tank the rockets would get me but I always did with the banshee but can never go past the wall

Ive made lifelong friends in halo, people I would have never met otherwise. I remember falling asleep on my couch with this song playing in the main menu of a custom lobby, headset on still. Friends yelling to wake me up. just so we could play a few more rounds of hide and seek or griffball. Its hard to obtain these moments today. With life and work. Im now older, with my own home, job, and bills to pay. But every now and then I make sometime to play some games, always searching for a game to give me the child like wonder that halo gave me. Im excited for the new halo coming out. I hope its good, even if its shit, ill love it. And I hope my buds will be online to play again, makes sometime in the future for us all to take a vacation and play some swat. Miss you guys

I find myself coming back to this song quite often. It brings me back to a time of comfort, of less worry. The only things that mattered were having fun with my friends on Halo 3. Going through the campaign, playing ranked trying to get as high of a level as we could, endless fun custom games, making maps on forge together. Every day after school, partying up and having some of the best times of our life. We didn't even know it at the time. I'm almost 26 now and i'd do anything to back to those days. It hurts knowing it won't ever be the same, though im glad most of us here got to experience it. Rest in peace Halo 3, rest in peace my childhood. Never forget
To Listen, to close your eyes and see yourself as a kid playing, but not just playing, because we were creating memories with our friends and cousins, now those memories aren't memories anymore, now they're treasures, Spartans never die :')

Family just aren't here by my side. I lost so much. I have to see my Grandmother every night dying in front of me and being lay down for the final time that I would see her until we meet again in Heaven. My best friend I will never be able to talk to him again. His parents don't want him to have a phone anymore. My two friends killed themselves. My families don't want to speak to me anymore.

Thank you to the OGs for passing the control to me and to the new generation that loves halo I know I wasn't there to experience I love bees or LAN parties but I know that they were fun it was fun playing with my friend when he would come over and we stay up playing halo 3 because it was the best that we had when we were younger we had halo 4 but for some reason I like 3 more then 4 and now being able to actually play throug the rest of the story and experience a little bit what you guys felt it makes me happy that I engoyed this series I wish I could have been there to Just have a good time with friends and family or being so happy for the new release and seeing people that we have met before in our game lobbys I wosh I could have played one more game before servers shut down I hope this community dose better seeing that 343 won't make another halo game and there only focusing on seasons now who knows when the next big thing will happen it took them 6 years to make a unfinished game that could have had so much potential I miss you bungie I wish gaming was fun like it was then and I'm happy that I got to finish the fight thank you for passing the controller and giving me and others a game that would be so fun to play I will never forget this game and I will pass it down fire others to remember where it all started thank you all for helping me finish the fight.

Around 12 years old I had never played a halo game. Until the. The closest I got to it was playing battlefront. The day after I played it with my dad he suggested we play halo together. I was pretty exited have long never been allowed to play it before. Now I’ve gotten to play all the games up until reach with him but have moved away from home to be more independent. Since then my father has decided to stop playing games entirely. (He feels they are bad for his mental health) I deeply miss my him. Listening to this soundtrack reminds me of all the good times we had. It was the closest I have ever been to him. I’ll never forget how many times he stayed up after a late night of work just so we could play together. Thank you dad. For all the memories.

You know it’s an amazing game when 13 years later you are just listening to the main menu music. Halo 3 will forever hold a special place in my heart, I’ve never been so excited for a game to release. I even preordered (the first and only time I’ve done so) the game and even got a free hat that I still have to this day. Having my friends over and all of us playing vs or messing around on forge. My Dad and I beating the campaign and talking about it/acting out scenes when we were not playing. Taking about the campaign and seeing who beat it on legendary in school. This game just blew me away with the graphics, the game play, forge, match making, videos and photos, and the soundtrack. Not to mention the marketing, the trailers and tv ads. They advertised it in a way that you weren’t playing a game.....you were saving the world
so many memories, makes me think of my life...
I'll never forget that one spartan made more of a difference than a thousand of them ever did.

I miss my halo friends from so long ago on xbox 360, we would get on every weekend and have fun. Wish I had that again and not having to look at their sleeping profiles that say they haven't been on in years
I don’t think I’ve ever made as many friends and memories with a game as much as I have with halo. So many of the memories have been one of the only things that have kept me going this past year after getting out of the military, and trying to get my life together.

This game taught me about Clans met some awesome people on here around 08-09. I'm usually a COD guy that's where I'm played with personal friends. But on here it was just fun No Personal Beef! No competition on who' was better. Just team up and have a blast until 3-4 AM. Halo 3 was truly special game, hope my clanmates are doing good. #Hayabusaarmorsquad
