Wow, what an unreal experience and chance that was for my family and I to have Nate Lauren and the tree House team to visit. I’m pleased the beers I had were up to standard, I’ve never had an expert review them before. As a home brewer it’s nice to know you’re on the right track. Great channel, keep up the innovations (this was an awesome concept), special thanks to Michael, another craftsman in his own right. Look forward to getting back to Charlton one day or hosting next year…Cheers happy home-brewing everyone 🍺🍺
To invite dedicated home brewers, who look up to you so much, to submit their beers for a chance to have them tasted on the channel, and to then take the time to go out of your way to feature the brewers behind the beers on your channel as well is such an excellent set up and pay off, it’s almost cinematic. A really excellent use of UA-cam in so many ways.
Nate, you're just as warm and genuine on video as you are in person - truly legendary! Your down-to-earth demeanor and passion are unmistakable, and it's no surprise you've achieved such great success. It's fantastic that you're sharing your enthusiasm with everyone now. I hope you can make a trip to Africa sometime; it would be wonderful to catch up. Best wishes from Mozambique, Arsénio.
Easily one of my fav videos, as it showed a warmth to home brewers but also had super practical advice for my NEIPAs. Awesome stuff Nate and Ross! Love the 99 reference
Love the recent focus on home brewing showing the full range of craft beer from ultra high end professional breweries like yours all the way through to small home brewing.
NZ couldn't basically be further to Tree House on the planet, but it's so cool cool to see you give feedback to a homebrewer that is a fan and influenced by you.
Hey Nate awesome video! You said he whirlpooled to cold at 85 C (185 F). I was always told this is a good whirlpool temp, do you have a recommendation on a hotter temp like you stated? Thanks!
Beautiful Brewtube! I was really intrigued by the exchange about DH hopping technique - Nate asked “on day 5 or for 5 days?” in a way that makes me think Nate has a strong opinion about this. I’d love to hear more about this! What impact does this have either way? What does TH generally like to do? Nate is really committed to mid boil hop additions and tiny WP additions, these are pretty in common opinions to hold!
Very cool to see the homebrew content - I imagine a large portion of your viewers are homebrewers lapping up this stuff. Interesting to hear your mid boil & whirlpool temp comments too. I've often hear you speak of how the process dictates the final outcome more than the recipe. Would love to see a deep dive on what process improvements you think go a long way to improve the beer and what simple things homebrewers can do to improve their beer - specifically hazy IPA styles. Cheers!
I would be so nervous if you were over at my house drinking my home brew! I mean, you will pass by my house if you road trip out to Yakima again, but you could just drop off some Julius. You don’t have to drink my crap beer. 🤣😂

you and your family are too cool for school, your signposting is spot on and Nate seemed well at home in your gaff.
Your beers looked and sounded awesome! Cheers 🍻

Love how he says 99.... What a visit. So cool.
The way this dude is anticipating your reaction after sipping on his homebrew says it all. Very cool
Sea Hag on the can wall!!! How the heck did he get Sea Hag in New Zealand. It's hard to get it outside of CT, even in New England.
Excellent! Great content right here

This was so awesome, cheers!
Great video! About the NEIPA - so it will be better to have soma aroma hops in the boil also? For example 5min? And whirlpool at higher? 90°C?
Ross that Superdelic looks tasty! well done.
It was!
