My brain cannot handle this!!! My two favorite UA-camrs posting their plant collections with days of each other!!! Harli & Fern❤️ thank you for this video!!!
I love how real and uncut your videos are, how you incorporate your dad's messages and the burps, love it. No other youtuber does that. I love the look of your pilea. I was thinking maybe I should knock mine over so that it would start growing like yours but that would probably not work and just kill it 😅 Also your dog is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life. I love him. He always follows you around
I have been following you for almost 2 years now, but i never really have had something to put in the comment section. Now i do... here it comes!... Isn't it fun that a girl in Utah in the US, is guilty of making me, a girl in Denmark, in Scandinavia, roam around in all the second hand stores i can find, looking for glass sausers for my plants? Thanks for the inspiration!
your monstera albo project is super inspiring! I have a single sport vine and a single thai constellation vine, with like 3 big healthy leaves each, and in 5 years they will look like your big juicy albo! Loving this tour so much
Yes; visually showing the signs of needing water is very helpful. Many plantkeepers mention it but just expect me to know what they're talking about and it's much more nerve-wracking to just be told "you'll know when you see it." Also, About the dancing bones pot - I wonder if it makes sense to look for something glazed. I know it's a cactus and its probably nice having the breathable terracotta, but it seems to me like you're probably looking for a pot that's still fairly small, but as heavy as possible. Handmade glazed ceramics at the thrift store are often thicker and heavier because the walls are thick and so is the glaze.
This was so fun! Thank you for taking the time to do this! I know you probably feel alone when you are making these videos but for us it's like going over to a friend's house and looking at all of their plants. There are people like me who their only friends are their kids, this is so valuable to us. Really thank you!
I love your plant tours not just for your plants, but for your unique planters! They add so much character to your collection and there's something fun to see everywhere. I'm slowly starting to add more plants to no drainage pots because of your influence - my alocasias and syngoniums are loving it! Also the euphorbia in your bathroom just needs more light, throw it under your strongest grow light and it will thrive :)
I am posting late just to help out your pocket book. Hope it still helps. Would also say that you have such a great personality. I, and I believe a lot of your followers feel honored to know you. Just sayin, hello from Idaho.
You are adorable the bond between you and your dad is precious! That was really sweet to watch you two so excited and smiling very precious I can feel the love lol Bless you and your family doll I enjoy your channel and the knowledge about plants. I’m taking a horticulture class and am obsessed with house plants and tissue culturing. Your channel is inspiring. Blessing to you and your loved ones. ❤
Harli I love your emotions. As a person who has a real hard time connecting with their feelings it feels so healing and lovely seeing you tear up and cry. Thank you for showing us you!
I’m new to your channel and I absolutely love your plant content!! I love how real your display of plants around the house are(especially with kids & pets). It’s aesthetic and filled with plant care stories and thrifty planters. Please make more series of plants you’ll never get rid of/ never buy again/etc. loved those videos a lot!!
Yes! The plant and planter combo is crutial and i will loose my mind untill i find the right "situation" and i love getting ideas from planty friends. This was a blast ❤
I paused to comment I think the cherub/goat planter looks amazing with that plant. And I want to give syngoniums another try, I’m an underwaterer and have killed a couple. Hearing what you said has the wheels turning in my head now
I love your plant tours! I enjoy seeing what you have and getting to hang out with you! :) I think my favorite plant of yours is the dancing bones cactus. I love how yours has grown over the side and how it hangs down off your shelf. Beautiful! And I love the dresser that Ryan made. It looks substantial and expensive. Really awesome job! I also love how long this video was. Not saying your vids need to be long! Just letting you know I enjoyed it! :) Hope you have a great week!
I have found all my best second hand pots in the spring/summer, at the thrift stores!! Everyone does their spring cleaning and all the good pots show up! I found like 5+ African violet pots last spring/summer and now all of my violets look SO CUTE and complete 🥹
Loved it! I really like how your plants are placed and how they are not piled on any available surface. I read all the comments waiting g for someone to identify the big peace lily because I have one too.
Hi Harli aka DIY queen! Have you considered making your own planter for the dancing bones cactus from cement? It's heavy and you could form it in a way that it has a thicccc bottom (for weight but also because the plant doesn't need as much water). Would love to see a video on the process too! Lots of love to you and all your gorgeous plants ❤
Beautiful collection. Very unique tastes that I love. I haven't watched your videos in a while and it's funny when someone puts out a plant house tour video I have to click on it😅 I bet many people can relate
I remember when you said Axel passed but had to leave immediately when you said it because my dog Beary had passed not too long before Axel. I cried for your family. It is very difficult to get over.
Cool to see you repping the functional mushrooms! Besides plants, we grow lions mane, Reishi, and cordyceps and it is very rewarding 😁 thanks for sharing
Ok so just getting to your older stuff… and second post on this thread… love your Chanel I have watched all the new awesome stuff… really love the new week on the life.. I Meade half marathon 😮 what awesome!!!! Ok love the pot with the samurai. Saw it and immediately thought OMG She totally made that awesome pot I just k ow it ! Any how look fwd to seeing you postings. I have a moonshine sansavaria and yes it love high light I had it in more light this summer and all the new growth look so awesome!
omg i am still on pto from work and i woke up with my coffee praying for some new UA-cam content and your channel never disappoints! I've been dying to see your full tour for a bit now lol! yay!!!
I like your happy pops of color and the natural tones of planters! Ok I have the same Sanseveria on your shelf and asked if anyone knew its name. I got one of those off Etsy and it was labeled as a Sansevieria Hybrid / Francissi. LOL I had to dig out my plant journal to remeber what this green kid was called.
I’m one to be on the medicinal psychedelics train, especially under medical supervision. There are soooo many things it’s proven to treat. PTSD, couples reconnect, etc. I feel like it’s one of those things that if you suffer a horrible experience in your life or deep depression, it’s a ways to reset. To experience a feeling in a new way, or one you’ve never felt before. It can be life changing.
Enjoyed your house plant tour. You have some very beautiful plants. I have had a dancing bone for 20 plus years and it always had yellow blooms around this time. It started going downhill before Christmas. It's been hanging in my DR window for many years so I couldn't figure what was wrong. I repotted it and it continued to die down dropping it's little leaves. Well today I took off what little bits were alive and cut it right back and crossing my fingers it comes back. I have given away so many plants that I started TG I have saved 2 so might have to start over😩I really love this plant. Wish me luck🥰
Oh Harli, I am really loving seeing all of your beautiful plants. I am also dealing with those dang mealy bugs, they have killed some of my Hoya, and they are also on some of my other plants, and I really really hate those stupid bugs, and I am still treating those plants. I still eventually want to get that Hoya Polyneura because it is one of my favorite Hoyas. I also someday want to get the Monstera Albo. There are some plants that I will get again, I am so happy that our weather is getting so much better, we got a ton of snow dropped on us and it was so heavy that I didn't clear off my carport tarp and the weight dropped it on my car and the poles are bent and a friend helped take it all apart, and luckily it didn't hurt my car, and my son found a new one that has better heavy side poles and a tarp on top and much cheaper than a total metal car port. Thanks so much for this wonderful plant tour, and I am wishing you a beautiful and blessed day, sending love and hugs, bye! 😄🥰🤗💝💖💜👋👍👏
This will go down as an absolute favorite! ❤️. On terrariums…I have 3 in very large antique apothecary jars, 25 years old. My sweet 12 yr old lab, Lily , died in December and I still can’t move on. Her empty bed is still in my room. Her food bowls sit in the kitchen still. 😢
6:35 Hi! I think the Pilea needs a funky pot, walmart has been putting out ceramic planters that are cool colors and shapes. Amy Waves is kinda 70s and it comes in green and pink, and Better Homes & Gardens Pottery 12" Fischer Round Ceramic Planter is an interesting shape and they have a glossy emerald green, also the bubble planter in black or pink. They also have a pot covered in mushrooms that look blank which you could paint in for a video! Lastly, Michaels has a 9" Black & White Checkered Pot by Ashland®for $10 :)
I have a wonky tree I got off FB market place and I watch a lot of Bonsai tree videos and I went out and got the larger scale wiring and wired mine to straghten and reshape sections of the tree. I check on the wiring every 6 months to see how its doing but the wiring gives this sculpture like effect to the tree that I added bracelet like touches to other arms of it to give it this coppery jewelry effect and when the sun comes it th metal / leaves really compliment each other.
With the avocado pit, I would submerge the bottom half in water and wait till the roots are longer and the little stem growth is more pronounced. When the pit falls apart from root growth, you can plant it in soil. At least, that is what I have done with success :)
The euphorbia in your bathroom is a Euphorbia lactea, lactea & trigona look alike, but trigona has larger leaves, lactea has teeny tiny leaves. No matter which type, more sunlight would help a.lot a lot.
I was afraid of burning my stephania caudex but I recently moved it a liiiiitle closer to the grow light and the green nub its had for weeks has finally started growing again!!
I really love your cabinet, would absolutley love to have one myself! Have you ever thought about sticking the growlights on the doors, to destribute the heat and light better? It also looks quite nice.
It’s a lot of fun to take care of & to watch grow. I have, but the cords would have to slide through the holes every time I open it so I didn’t want to deal with that
Definitely pot up your avocado seed, it wil TAKE OFF! I started one last june and it grew about 8 inches during the end of the growing season. It has already started putting out fresh growth and i cant wait to see how big ot gets this year. I just started a pit from a avocado from the grocery store, nothing special. 😅 Always love hanging out 😊
Hi Harli! You have a beautiful collection of plants. Where did you purchase the white plant stand? I enjoy your videos and look forward to the next one. 💚🪴💚
The hole in anthurium is due to it adaptating to the new environement with lower humidity. It can take up to two years for it to give you a perfect leaf. Mine are all ripped up now or uneven. It will take a lot of patience ;) And I also don't tink that having those stones on top of it is a good idea as one of the key requirments for them is root airation. Unless it is a coarse perlite or sth, it was hard to determine
My euphorbia trigona rubra loves full sun. It's full of leaves amd kept producing tjem all winter. It's in my south west window and I water it about every 2 weeks but will probably need more once summer kicks in.💚✌🏽
23:20 is this a truebii moonlight?? I’ve recently heard many people, even Claire’s (jungle haven) and wildfern I believe say something about this. Apparently when they took cuttings, the same thing happened so they looked in the soil. They’ve had a cage pot instead of the death plug! ❤ hope this helps.
Queen anthurium needs more humidity and less porous planter. I had similar problems before I increased humidity. Love your collection and plants styling.
For the queen anthurium, those holes in the leaves happen for me when emerging leaves get stuck in the cataphyll (i think that's what it's called) probably due to low humidity. They end up bending and ripping at the bend. I don't have good humidity conditions so I try to mist new growth. Sometimes it helps. 🤷♀ I'm speaking from experience with philodendrons though.
You could always instead of up potting the Cebu blue pothos you could trim up the roots a bit and keep it in the same pot I have yet to do that but my dad does it with his large plants cuz at a certain point you just can’t manage them anymore
I think your euphorbia needs more light and that’s why the leaves are not growing. I have the same one and it’s about a foot away from a south facing window😊
I think it’s okay to have some plants and think of them more as decor than plants. I have a few plants that I like that I use as more decor and like them for that they bring to my space. It doesn’t mean I don’t like them or they get neglected but I kinda just file them in my brain differently
A few suggestions if you don't mind me saying. Why not swap your spider plant on the tall lampstand with the on on the stool. I think they would both look more dramatic if swapped. In the small bathroom, try up potting the Trigonia in a slightly wider pot, not deeper just wider. It helped mine when it wouldn't leaf out properly. Love the tour.
I have some plants in pot with no drainage, it's difficult to find these kind of pots and sometimes I have to close the holes putting the tape inside the pot.
Catching up on my YT videos.. I didn't see someone respond to you about your Spathiphyllum but it is most likely clevelandii but a mature one! Sensation have very dark thick leaves without as many lines as a more common spath like yours or the wallisii have. Clevelandii is extrmely common. Another is the floribundum but honestly I'd have to compare heights/blooms/leaves to know for sure lol
I think the begonia your mom gave you that you thought you killed is an 'angel wing' and my favorite plant I own - with a comedic tendency to behead itself when a branch gets too heavy
Go to mudwtr.com/harlig to get started for $29. That’s less than $1 cup per day!
My brain cannot handle this!!! My two favorite UA-camrs posting their plant collections with days of each other!!! Harli & Fern❤️ thank you for this video!!!
Omg Ferns tour was so good! 🙌
Hank you for watching ❤️
Also, you just resparked my love for plants, that we can sometimes lose through our plant keeping journey!
You both are amazing!!! Thanks for commenting!🫶
Agreed! I'm finally catching up on my planty videos and both of these were so exciting! ❤

Damnnnnn Girl! We asked, you listened!!! Almost two hourss?!??? My day is MADE! ❤
your monstera albo project is super inspiring! I have a single sport vine and a single thai constellation vine, with like 3 big healthy leaves each, and in 5 years they will look like your big juicy albo! Loving this tour so much
YAY! Glad to see I’m not the only one who doesn’t want to just throw away a broken planter!
Yes; visually showing the signs of needing water is very helpful. Found you years ago here on youtube on a plant tour video. My absolute favorite videos!! watching from LA, California
I have found all my best second hand pots in the spring/summer, at the thrift stores!! Everyone does their spring cleaning and all the good pots show up! I found like 5+ African violet pots last spring/summer and now all of my violets look SO CUTE and complete 🥹

Love you Harli!!! You're the only person I'd watch an hour & 1/2 long video of! 😂💜 Thanks for the entertainment and sharing all your plants!
I had to add this to my watch later so u could make sure I had uninterrupted time. It was worth it! ❤
Hi Harli aka DIY queen! Have you considered making your own planter for the dancing bones cactus from cement? 1h37min of Harli plants 😍 yes please! I love that I have been following you for years and am already expecting updates on some plants.
First I have four kids and it took me 3 days to watch this but I loved every second of it! Second you look like your dad!! So cute! Love your videos!
Loved every minute of this video!!! Thanks for doing it. Love your honesty! ❤ Video request? All things Hoya! 🪴🌱 Your content is the best. 🙂
Starfish sanseveria. I named mine Patrick. Mine is way smaller. It's nice to see a big one. Urs is gorgeous 😍
Lol Patrick 😂❤
I also have a pineapple bromeliad that my husband named SpongeBob 🤣
I vote Francisii too! I have one & they look alike for sure!
I’m sorry you’ve been going through the same heartbreak. Hope you are feeling better a year out from the loss ❤️
Beautiful plant & pot collection! Thanks for giving us the tour Harli!
Cool to see you repping the functional mushrooms! Besides plants, we grow lions mane, Reishi, and cordyceps and it is very rewarding 😁 thanks for sharing

Harli, can you do a video of your chickens, breeds, coop setup, and, anything else chicken?!
Absolutely! I’d love to talk all about them 🫶 thanks for the request!
I second more chicken content!! I dont have chickens of my own, but my mom does, and I can't wait to live in a place where I can have a coop!!
The tiny intro in this vid 39:26
omg i am still on pto from work and i woke up with my coffee praying for some new UA-cam content and your channel never disappoints!
Love the video & your plants 🪴 hated MUD water 😆-& random compliment- your skin is gorgeous 💕
38:54 you could also use a thin wire and basically bonsai the dracena marginata!
I’m one to be on the medicinal psychedelics train, especially under medical supervision. There are soooo many things it’s proven to treat. Your thanks giving cactus blooms 😍 WOW!
Great plant collection, but I also love 💚 love thise unique looking green and wicker kitchen chairs!!!!!
Thanks! Love your plant tours. Don’t know why but my euphorbia trigona does get good lasting leaves with humidity!
Hi Harli
Your planting display is Soo beautiful, love the combos !!!
💚🌿🍀🌵💚
I have a wonky tree I got off FB market place and I watch a lot of Bonsai tree videos and I went out and got the larger scale wiring and wired mine to straghten and reshape sections of the tree. I check on the wiring every 6 months to see how its doing but the wiring gives this sculpture like effect to the tree that I added bracelet like touches to other arms of it to give it this coppery jewelry effect and when the sun comes it th metal / leaves really compliment each other.
I love when you show the Zigzag/Rickrack cactus, I have one too and the fact it’s upside down just fascinates me! I keep expecting for it to fall out.
you should totally do a planter highlight tour :3
Philodendron Jose Buono is my favorite. I have 6 growing on my patio. I plan on planting one under my oak tree by the trunk. I love your videos.
Thanks for the tour! Love seeing all of them and the pots you chose for them 💚🪴
Your plants are looking great 👍 Bismark so adores you, love him 😀🇨🇦
With the avocado pit, I would submerge the bottom half in water and wait till the roots are longer and the little stem growth is more pronounced. When the pit falls apart from root growth, you can plant it in soil. At least, that is what I have done with success :)
21:49
You need moss covering the base of the queen! In my experience damp moss is always helps keep more leaves on anthuriums 😁
The euphorbia in your bathroom is a Euphorbia lactea, lactea & trigona look alike, but trigona has larger leaves, lactea has teeny tiny leaves.
No matter which type, more sunlight would help a.lot a lot.
....and heat lol.
I was afraid of burning my stephania caudex but I recently moved it a liiiiitle closer to the grow light and the green nub its had for weeks has finally started growing again!!
I love how refined your likes and dislikes have gotten you to such a lush and diverse plant collection. Next stop second hand store!

It’s ikea 😊
GIRL! GO GET YOUR SHOULDER NEEDLED!!!!!!!! LIFE SAVER! And this video was epically helpful for my biz partner and me!
1:03:31 Those things will bloom all year long sometimes mine did that one year!
The hole in anthurium is due to it adaptating to the new environement with lower humidity. It can take up to two years for it to give you a perfect leaf. Mine are all ripped up now or uneven. I think my fav is the super wonky pilea. I loooooove her so much! How’d you get her like that?
Do you still have your Lemon Lime Maranta?
I should be sleeping in Australia at 11:30pm😢Just as I was going to turn off my iPad,,out pops Harli…… No sleep for now! 🤣🌿🪴💚 Natalie

The way you just crushed that mealy with your own hand 😅 I could never. I gasped lmaoo
I’m just so sick of those nasty little bitches 😂 not even giving them the chance to run away while I grab a q tip anymore
....taking notes or doodling in bed 🤣 love your videos, informative and hilarious at the same time
I've been looking for discorea for a long time. Beautiful
Water more often. I found my trigona(sp) gets leaves if I water it more than I think I shoild.
Yayy I'm so excited for this video!! Show me what plants I'm missing 😅
Love your channel cos you are so authentic ❤
I have some plants in pot with no drainage, it's difficult to find these kind of pots and sometimes I have to close the holes putting the tape inside the pot.
Catching up on my YT videos.. I didn't see someone respond to you about your Spathiphyllum but it is most likely clevelandii but a mature one! Sensation have very dark thick leaves without as many lines as a more common spath like yours or the wallisii have. Clevelandii is extrmely common. Another is the floribundum but honestly I'd have to compare heights/blooms/leaves to know for sure lol
Thanks for the info! I appreciate it
Lol, Grandma thought that begonia needed an adjustment. Just too much on top 😊
You are one of my good friends and you don’t even know it. 😂 Thank you thank you thank you for continuing to put out amazing, unfiltered content.
how parasocial
I think the begonia your mom gave you that you thought you killed is an 'angel wing' and my favorite plant I own - with a comedic tendency to behead itself when a branch gets too heavy
You are the reason I love syngonium 💚
What kind of syngonium is the plant at 1:12:48 with the mealy bug? Its sooo pretty!
Yayyy tis the season of plant tours!!!😆😁
Hi, Harli!!!! The sansevieria at time stamp10:00 might be sansevieria francisii?
