@ModernCastle hey I’ve seen your last video on how to smoke inside home with air purifier and my question is does this air purifier works for smoking or only the one you shown in video works for smoking?
This particular unit isn't ideal for smoke. To deal with smoke you need a unit with a large and heavy carbon filter. The IQAir GC MultiGas would be best - www.amazon.com/IQAir-MultiGas-Purifier-Medical-Grade-HyperHEPA/dp/B00069EGA0/ref=sr_1_2?tag=mc_1001-20
For a $400+ air purifier it cleans well but this company charges a ridiculously high amount for any of the replacement components and while following these directions the electrode generators will still break (I’ve gone through 2 In 4 months), and the porous screen had 2 holes in it after just 4 months of use. They’re making every dollar they can on every single piece so be prepared
Thank you! I can add that one to our list. Also, we're currently testing and working on the new Airdog Pro - www.indiegogo.com/projects/airdog-pro-world-s-most-effective-air-purifier/coming_soon Look for that soon
It was fairly similar to what we saw on Molekule. Airdog x3 achieved a PM2.5 of 0.4. Molekule achieved a PM2.5 of 0.6 for the Air and 0.3 for both the Mini and Air Pro. In terms of coverage, X3 can handle 400 square feet. Molekule ranges from 250 to 1000, depending on the model.
@@Boodieman72 VOC improvement / removal is very hard to measure, in my experience. I've not had much confidence in either of the electronic meters we got to measure air quality. I'm not confident to say one is better or worse than the other with respect to VOCs.
I have a contact at Airdog. I will ask them these questions directly and see what they say. My thought right now is...it just doesn't make sense to lie about ozone like this. If the machine produced ozone, why release a report at all? Putting out a fake report would get them in much MUCH hotter water than doing nothing at all. In any case, we'll see what they say.
Just heard back from Airdog. Here was their response to your questions: "Actually, the report certificated the series of our products which applied our patented technology, Here are our updated certifications: www.airdog-x.com/certifications"
Airdog X3 is now available for purchase here - geni.us/airdog-x3

Great analysis! Can you do one on the airdog v5?
Thank you!

How does it compare to the Molekule?

@@ModernCastle Any info on how the "electric / ion" filter compares to the PECO system for VOC's, etc?

@@blankett9798 The purification power per dollar is certainly much better with the Airdog
How long is the power cord?
About 6 feet if I remember correctly. We've got it in storage, so it's not accessible to me right now.
The ozone report is from 2018 but the airdog released in 2020 and the report doesn't' specify witch product was tested
the numbers don't add up

Looks the same as the Airsoap x3
Quite possible it is. Lots of air purifiers companies are white label products.
