Y'know, seeing this and being reminded about the ending of Gorefield, it makes me wonder how the events went after the ending scene, like, would Lyman be able to even do anything as the potential last hope for the world?
That's actually an excellent plot for an extra song. Lyman v.s Gorefield, being Lyman's last stand for what's left of world. It would obviously be non-canon, but an original take on the creators of the mod as an extra delivery of the whole plot they've been handling, which would still be loyal to the original content. If it had Lyman winning, it would be the perfect send-off for the mod, as most of the songs after Cryfield's week are bad endings or don't necessarily have an ending.
Lyman swore vengeance against gorefield for killing odie and Jon though he doesn’t know that Jon is still alive inside gorefield. So I don’t think he would be fighting the government as the government set off the nuke to get rid of gorefield yet that didn’t work.
By far my most favorite song in the entire mod, maybe in all of FNF modded songs in general. I love the colored afterimage effects that were put on Lyman, and his voice sounds really good! Not to mention that the instrumental carries such "apocalyptic final boss" vibes, which are my absolute FAVORITE vibes that a FNF song can carry. It may not take the prize for Best Visuals (that prize goes to Cataclysm), but in terms of the way the song itself _sounds_ in general, BIGotes here takes the crown on that front. Amazing job on this final update, all of you. It was absolutely worth the wait. :)
@@kauffythesilly Cataclysm's alright, though I love the visuals more than the song itself. All the biblically-accurate imagery that's going on there is incredible, and after going through so many Gorefield-related songs, a song with a giant angel is both beautiful and terrifying, especially since he's got Nermal at his mercy. But with the way the song itself sounds, it's more that there's certain parts that I really enjoyed, and other parts that I didn't enjoy so much. I like parts of it, but I didn't enjoy the entire song as whole like I did with BIGotes.
@@Terrifyger In my opinion the song had so much potential, they could've referenced his past as a sinful monster that nuked Earth and rebuilt it for himself; or that he used to be weak like Nermal before he got killed by humans. They could've also briefly referenced the zodiac gorefields from the horoscopes which is where Godfield originated. (He's the zodiac Ophiuchus)

If Godfield is actually one of them, though, then that's something I didn't know, but that's cool. I do think the Zodiac Gorefields could've been at least referenced somewhere in this mod, yeah.
I love this song. It sounds so divine. I especially like that one instrument, not sure which one it is. It brings so much flavor to the song, with the intense chords and sad chords and other kinds of chords. Easily my favorite from the mod.
I thought I was going to die several times because I started playing fnf mods a few weeks ago, but I passed this song in the first time without Ghost tapping
i just started maybe 3 months ago, played a bit of osu mania before, the chart is not that hard (i get ~97% accuracy) but my biggest problem are notes to avoid i can’t wrap my head around the fact that i need to avoid them and it’s the only reason i die to this song
@@savien6401 Maybe to Lyman, since BF is seemingly the only person to have survived the Nuke going off besides Gorefield, Lyman thinks Boyfriend might either be supporting/helping Gorefield or something like that. That or he's just so flooded with power that he feels the need to punch any living thing he sees

This song was absolutely harsh ngl But the fact that the first time I beat it ended up being an FC made it ABSOLUTELY SATISFYING. (after about like 6 deaths) Just finished the mod today, 10/10

Esta por mucho es mi canción y mecánica favorita de la week, la canción se me hace la mejor del mod, su mecánica hace que de verdad te sientas en tensión sin necesidad de hacer una nota que te insta mate, y la mecánica de sanar complementa la otra, esta muy bien posicionado y el diseño es muy bueno.

@@novashock1453 Lyman probably thought Bf was an ally of gorefield, and as he saw him fall from the sky(The place where gorefield was in when Terror in the heights happens). In resume: Lyman saw gorefield dragging boyfriend with him to the sky, and lyman thought Gorefield was saving his "ally"(bf).
When I first played this and saw that the fists dealt 2 damage, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I definitely prefer this over death notes.

I'm trying to find a version of this song that's just the OST and not gameplay so the punching, healing, and miss sfx aren't in it but it just doesn't exist for some reason

Lyman is kind of an enigma in the Garfield series. He showed up early on in the comics and is introduced as Jon’s roommate, who also was the previous owner of odie, Lyman then completely disappeared from the comic and has only rarely showed up through out the franchise. In the garfield gamboy’d series(what this mod is mostly based on)Lyman disappeared due to the fact he got admitted to a mental institution due to him having seen visions of the future which made him go insane, fast forward to the gorefield incident happening(what we see before this song)Lyman escapes the mental institution as the only survivor through a sewer pipe that leads to a near by lake(where this song takes place)Lyman, fueled by anger and sadness achieves this knock of ultra instinct state and swears to take revenge on gorefield and avenge Jon and Odie. As for why he is fighting BF? Idk, cuz we need that for this cool song to be here.

El problema del nuevo instrumental es que la percusión tiene demasiado protagonismo, mientras que antes había una variedad más rica de instrumentos.
