Be sure to check out the exhaust at steeda.com MRT Maverick 2.0L Street Performance Single Tip Cat-Back www.steeda.com/mrt-92w310-maverick-non-hybrid-street-performance-single-tip-cat-back-polished MPN: 92W310B Part: 373 92W310B
I want my exhaust to come out of a bezel in the plastic skirt behind the rear wheel to keep it nice and tucked up out of the way. Guess I need to go to local muffler shop to have that fabricated...
When you look at the advertisement it says stainlessness steel pipes there not also ceramic coating on tips yeah rattle can. I bought the dual tipped cat back not impressed.
Drone is what you might hear after adding an exhaust. It is a "droning" noise that you can hear in the cabin, usually on the highway at a constant RPM. This sound can be annoying and it's something many exhaust manufacturers try to combat.
Many years ago, going to a less restrictive, (noisier), exhaust added noticable power and fuel economy benefits. Have you noticed this with this exhaust System? HIghway droning? Thank you
Yes you will especially in these eco boost turbos. All you need really is to get a tune and you’ll gave 40-50 hp, add an exhaust and a cold air intake and your 0-60 will be sub 6 seconds.
$735 plus labor to make a little more noise? Doesn't sound like money well spent. If that is all you care about, why not just swap out the muffler at a custom exhaust shop for well under half that? For me, I would rather skip the exhaust and invest in a programmer & tune when available for actual & measurable performance gains for similar cost as that system.
Sorry, but this exhaust missed the mark! Sounds like a typical Japanese mod. A truck should have more of a deep, throaty exhaust note. I'll keep lookin'.

It sounds pretty good and not too loud. Impressive.
Man that's going to sound good to me I love that sound
I was very reluctant about putting an exhaust like this on a four-cylinder so many of them sound so bad, but this one sounds great!😊
Nice sound clips! Great video!
Very cool fellas. Want one for my Maverick now!
Sounds pretty good though to me.
System still looks loose even after using an impact wrench. I'd like to see you add a leak check to this video to ensure it's not loose and leaky.
Sounds good 👍
Im waiting for a performance shop to stuff a 7.3L Godzilla into a Maverick.
!
I would have liked to see it on a dyno to see any HP gain.
Sounds alot better 🔥🔥👍🏾
Sounds pretty good 👍
Not for me.I would either leave it stock or possibly try a dynomax super turbo for increased flow without the bumble bee sound.
Nice 👍

will it fit front wheel drive?
Was that your blood Chris? lol hopefully it didn't leave too much of a mark! Sounds good!
there any sound clips at cruising speed in cabin ?? curious about any drone
Unfortunately, no. But drone inside the cabin was minimal. -Chris
The difference was minimal at best, thanks for sharing, I won’t be doing this mod.
Better get that hearing checked, Skippy
It’s a 4 cylinder bro. If you want it to sound like a lawn mower just straight pipe it
When you look at the advertisement it says stainlessness steel pipes there not also ceramic coating on tips yeah rattle can. I bought the dual tipped cat back not impressed.
How is this compared to the extreme
Sounds good! Will you all be offering tunes anytime soon?
Hi,
We'll be working on something like that for the Maverick in the near future hopefully.
What does no drones mean?

Not sure I like the exhaust note.
Many years ago, going to a less restrictive, (noisier), exhaust added noticable power and fuel economy benefits.

HIghway droning?
Thank you
So no response in a month. I see no benefit to making a car noisier just to make it noiser.

It sounds like a car not even a small truck should sound like that. Just leave it stock
The muffler welds looks rusty already hmmm
Too bad we never see an interior sound comparison on this system.
Sounds like a Honda civic used to. Pointless.
Yeah, I'd rather have mine quiet than sound like a 1997 Camry with a hole in the exhaust. Not for me
Nothing compares to the sound of a V8.
PLEASE PLEASE make something for Hybrid....those factory muffler and resonators look HORRID and cheap!!
The engine is off when stopped and during normal acceleration so you're not going to hear much.

Congratulations
Why not get both?
is this serious?? lol
When I was a kid , I made more sound with clothes pins and playing cards on bike spokes😃
Horrible
Na. its not that type of car. Borderline cringy. Im saying this as a maverick owner too lol.
Bad take, every car needs exhaust
Those transitions were really annoying.

It's a 4 banger, dude. You won't find what you want.
Gil you need to buy a V8 truck then , and this aint it.
Its a turbo 4. You are never going to get a deep throaty sound out of it.
For the price I prefer to keep my maverick quiet. 600 plus. Hahahha. Only stupid people will buy it.
