Spurs compete, Chelsea win. There's the difference. 7+ years in England, 0 trophies. Even Ten Hag has more in under a year. Needs to be gone in summer if we can get Tuchel back(personal preference). Had us top 4 twice + multiple cup finals. Loved and respected by the fans. It's quality assurance.
If we're still midtable with him next season, then restructure the squad with better directors. That would be plan B. With Pochettino if the results stay same next season, then we're stuck clueless.

Been supporting Chelsea since 06 and I'm Poch in. Been saying all season Poch's ideas work, but these players couldn't get the ball into the net for the majority of the season. Which is why I find it harder to blame Poch as much or even more than the players. Poch can't put the ball in the net for our players.

It's called being reactionary. We've won so currently everyone's Pochettino in. Hence sample sizes are important. For me, season was a failure as soon as we missed UCL. So if the manager doesn't leave then there has to be major improvement in some other department.

I think injuries have helped poch in yesterday match, he had no option to put Cowell on left back while chilwell a winger and disasi on right back.

Near every club in PL has had major injuries this season. We've actually been lucky, not to mention we had no Europe this season. Potter had it lot worse and still applauded the fans. Pochettino says it isn't his duty to do that, or to motivate the players. I don't know what's he here for then.

yeah, I was get him out after Arsenal BUT he is a likable chap, crucially the players want him and stability is key. We are in a position that is acceptable given all the issues this year.
I have been saying this since the beginning of the season. Our team is gonna be so good that no team in Europe would wanna play. The just needs time and let's not forget that these team is only playing their first season together. Fans have been too harsh on the coach and players.

How many games? It's literally been about 3 games. The reality also is that the manager gives instructions to players that he expects them to be able to carry out. If they don't, that's a personnel issue not only a management issue.

I've always been Poch in. This notion.of waiting until the end to assess when there's already a body of work there is crazy. We would have to lose all our games and finish 13th for me to be Poch out. The team has progressed. The players have progressed. The style has progressed. That's what I wanted and it's what I see. I understand that we need to have a winning mentality but it doesn't mean that we will win right away or even win everything. Poch has continued to emphasize that. He has even dropped off a bit of his reservedness after losing to Liverpool and that tells me that he recognized his mistake.

At PSG he had the worst winning percentage last 11 years. He's 52 (for reference, Pep is 53). All signs point to the fact he's at best a 'nearly there' manager. Has 0 connection with the fanbase. And is on Carlo Ancelotti level of money. So there is very less reasons we should be keeping him if mutual departure is possible. Specially with Tuchel being available(top 4 twice + multiple cup finals, and much better connection with fans). We need to rectify our mistakes and give time to the ones who've actually earned it. Not piss them off or sell them for pure profit.
If we're stuck at near midtable again next season with Pochettino then all we're left with is either a belated sack, or being totally clueless about the whole who's worse, players or the manager situation. With someone like Tuchel, we would more so know the squad isn't good enough and we could restructure with better directors. That would be a plan B.

I’ve been frustrated at times and in the heat of the moment have been on the poch out bandwagon. I guess it’s the if It don’t work replace culture we have at the club but he defo deserves another season. Whoever we would get in would be a risk and not guarantee success. I remember Arteta first 2 underwhelming seasons at Arsenal and there fans wanted him out. But with a bit of time they are now a force. We have to trust the process💙

There are times this season that I've wanted him out. But coaching this bunch has not been easy. And the injuries do mitigate at least some of the things I've been critical about. Poch has sorted our scoring issues, and we made it to Wembley twice. Given our financial constraints, the safe move would be to give him till the Jan transfer window next season to see if he can improve on what he's done this year.
Let Poch have the next season when all the players are available. I think the team is progressing.

I really need Poch to go but if the club decides to keep him I'm willing to back him all the way. Besides the poor performance of the team, what has really bothered me about Poch this season is his management style. Pre season Poch was more involved, more pro active (makes sense because he was still trying to learn his team) but he took the back seat at some point. I understand he has had a lot of odds stacked up against him with injuries and and and. I just want him to not take it easy on the players, his bosses and opponents.

If you’re doing the second channel you can add certain aspects to it like how certain players are doing on loan, the schedule of upcoming matches and how you predict them then afterwards reflect on your predictions giving positives and negatives from that those games etc

During the Arsenal and after the game I wanted Poch out. But the coach is only as good as the last result. But looking beyond the score lines, we have gotten better compared to last season and most importantly the players are backing him. There are no unhappy players that we know of. Unless there is a crystal ball I think we should back him to stay next season. Our injured list is currently better than our starting 11 and we are 8th. There are games we should have won or managed better and that will most likely change. I think he should stay. Besides the defense all other metrics have improved and we can't deny that.

Pochettino will back next year for a proper evaluation. Prospecting is good for evaluation, road maps, contingency for what if. Best person(s) would be Louis Enrique, Xavi, Xabi.
Another Pochettino nugget "big names": It could refer to big dollar players: Sterling, Mudryk, James, WFofana, Fernández, Chilwell, Nkunku, Lavia either forced to play when injured. Or if fit but not traing well or not even playing good, have to be starting somehow. Playing others may shine a light on overpaying or wrong fit for coach and team. Originally the owners had a penchant for super elite expensive players - Neymar, Messi, Ronaldo but they are older, savvy, more demanding and challenging to coach.
The irony: Pochettino has dropped Silva and Sterling or choosen not to use them even if needed. Nkunku has seen limited time due to not being fully fit or injury prone. Chilwell, James, Fernández have struggled for best performances playing with injuries, pain, injections. Finally getting their needed surgeries and rehabilitations.
The players getting the love, making an improvement - Madueke, Jackson. Chalobah has quietly done the business. Petrovic has been a steadying influence between the posts. Cucurella as an inverted LB is running his socks off. Gilchrist can be physical and comparisons to JT are surfacing. Caicedo and Gallagher are flourishing. Stone cold Palmer is just that, what a revelation!
To finish strong, Nkunku and Chukwuemeka need to be involved. So too Sterling who we have not seen his consistent best. Maybe time to experiment with Acheanpong and Casadei. One game at a time. One win at a time.

Last season isn't a benchmark, it was the worst in 30+ years. This season we've conceded the most goals in our club Premier League history. It's Ian Porterfield level. The problem with POCH is that he can win a few games, one in three but he’s not a winner. So if you want a trophy you are not going to get it with POCH. We are not going to win the last 4 games. Usually after a win, we lose the next game.
I feel we only need 1 to 3 signings this summer for the first team. A ST, a fast 1v1 winger for the left side and maybe a Top Goalkeeper. Chelsea has always had a Top GK. Keep Trevor Chalobah n Gallagher. I dont think it would be a good idea to start over again with a new manager, when honestly i dont think any manager would of had a better season with this young team. We need to trust the process. We cannot keep being a carousel for manager We need to give managers time to build a team n chemistry. We are playing with a bunch of basically under 23yrs old players.
