This was a really good interview - good questions, meaningful answers. Who is the interviewer? She did a great job. Taylor is one of my favorite comedians now. The best comedy comes from real life and life experiences, and Taylor seems to instinctively know what's funny about the life she's living.
She seems genuinely good natured. Her understanding why older people would underestimate her, her deleting the joke her grandmother didn't really like, etc.
there is nothing not to love about Taylor. along with being an amazing comedian, she has such poise and grace. when she does interviews, she has this confidence about her. she doesn't stumble over her words or have to take these long dramatic pauses to think of what she's gonna say. I can't wait to see her again, live.
I'm 73. I'd go back to being 21 *INSTANTLY*. Especially if I can know what I know now and can repair the endless string of mistakes I made in that decade. I had a helluva lot more fun in my 20s than I ever did afterward, even with all the tremendous screwups.
As a German I'm really happy she liked the krauts during her shows! :) Also, what she says about the 20s... sooo relatable. I feel so much better knowing I'm not alone! Thank you, Taylor!
Her: I saw it one & half times. So many times! It's THAT good! Me: *watches it 15 times a day* that's cute One and a half lol she literally saw it *once*, plus a few extra minutes 😂
Interestingly the most interesting women to me are the ones, who had a healthy relationship with their fathers. Please dads, take care of your daughters!
@@maggiemcfly5267 I'll agree to disagree. I completed college, worked on a gold mine, spent 1 year travelling, spent another 2 years living in two the countries, met by now wife, she moved to my countries for 6 years where I change careers after going back to school, bought a house and continued to travel at least once every year. Loved my 20's. Moved to the states in my 30's, had kids, got fat and now I'm in my mid 40's wondering where the last 15 years went.
Does it bother anyone else that the interviewer wasn't laughing at any of her jokes? I got the feeling that she was trying to make Taylor feel small or uncomfortable/ insecure because Taylor would say something that was obviously a joke and the interviewer was taking everything seriously and she was not laughing at anything.
Hostess: "I got to check out your Special. I actually watched it one and *A HALF* times!!" 3:40 REALLY? So, it was good enough to watch more than once? But, not good enough to watch twice?? Mmmmkay? 🤪🤔
It's a legitimate question, she herself has talked about the guilt before. When you leave the religion you were raised in, you feel guilty, I think it's inevitable. But you can feel great about it at the same time.

she is one of the best comedians of her generation. her special is so funny and her delivery makes it even better
Definitely. Taylor, Iliza Shlesinger, and Nikki Glaser are killing it.
This interviewer is very good! She knows exactly the right way to conduct it and have a meaningful conversation.
Love Taylor Tomlinson, and this interviewer was just wonderful! She did her research and was able to lead the conversation so effortlessly.

I have seen her specials sooo many times I still laugh cry every time. We love Taylor.
This interviewer is great too!
Quite possibly the best debut special by any female comedian. More or less an immediate bump to the nr1 spot in my opinion.
To be honest the bar set by female comedians in recent years was very low

The line that Taylor said: Hindsight is 20/20, and I'm so blind...", sounds like it would be a great title for a comedy special.
taylor inspires me so much!! she’s got an amazing career ahead of her. we stan taylor 💛💛
Her special was perfect. Lately I havent been much into standup, but I hers was wholesome and so funny. I really laughed the whole time.

Do you ever feel guilty making God impressions?
Taylor: Mmm no, I’m just making an impression of my dad.

I would never! It's what she said in the special, you don't miss your 20's, you miss having less responsibilities...

She kinda looks like Thumper from Bambi
We three kings of orient are... ... ... ?
She forgot Conan O'Brien.
Weird interview questions about religion, "do you feel guilty?" Wutttt?
Religious people are nuts and can't cope with reality and the way sane people think. The interviewer is probably religious.
