More Shows Returning to Boomerang in Spring 2024

- Boomerang continues to improve along with Cartoon Network, and they have a variety of shows to offer this Spring including Duck Dodgers, Camp Lazlo, Kids Next Door, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Chowder, Ben 10, We Bare Bears, and more!
I also list a few shows that won't be coming to Boomerang and explain the reasoning behind it, such as some older Hanna-Barbera cartoons not airing due to licensing rights issues with Warner Bros. Some other shows won't be airing because either the master copies are missing or unusable due to the format or quality, such as SWAT Kats and 2 Stupid Dogs. There are some restrictions to what can and can't be aired, however Boomerang is doing the best it can at the moment!

I'm glad Boomerang is improving its schedule, 2024 is getting a better start for the channel itself.

Its impressive
One of my favorite shows on Boomerang might be LazyTown, it is a really cool show. It is actually a live action TV series instead of animated, so the characters from it actually look as if they are from real life. It is also the only show where some characters are also puppets, such as Pixel, Trixie, Ziggy, Stingy, Mayor Meanswell, and Bessie Busybody. So the only characters from the show who aren't puppets are Sportacus, Stephanie, and Robbie Rotten. The actor of Robbie Rotten has also died. LazyTown is also likely the only show whose country of origin is Iceland instead of any English-speaking country like the United States or Canada, although I don't think English is the official language in Iceland alongside Icelandic, I think it's only in many other European countries like Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Netherlands, and possibly even Finland.
LazyTown never aired on Boomerang in America, only in the UK.

They should add cartoons like “Storm Hawks,” “Hot Wheels Battle Force 5,” and “Code Lyoko” to the channel lineup.
I wish they could air movies like Where’s Lazlo and The big field trip with 2 parts together on boomerang

I would like Boomerang to add Pixie & Dixie, Huckleberry Hound, MGM Cartoons, Pebbles & Bamm-Bamm, Josie and the Pussycats, The Smurfs and other classic cartoons back to their lineup.
“The Smurfs” is already on Discovery Family. Same as with “Looney Tunes”. Both “Littlest Pet Shop” and “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic“ were both staples of the channel since they were part of the Hub’s legacy.

They should actually resolve the licensing issues regarding the WB-AMBLIN collaborations of the 90's like Tiny Toons and Animaniacs and should start airing them. These shows haven't been airing on Boomerang at all, despite the fact that they are classic cartoons and that Boomerang's purpose is to air classic cartoons that belong to the Warner Bros. and Turner archives, like the Hanna-Barbera shows, MGM cartoons and Popeye shorts in addition to the Warner Bros. shows. Tiny Toons and animaniacs haven't been airing on TV for so long, the last time they aired was on the Hub, Cartoonito UK and Teletoon Retro in 2015 and Animaniacs was airing as late as 2020 on WarnerTV in a foreign country. They, alongside Freakazoid! and Pinky and the Brain deserve to be on Boomerang as without them, the Warner Bros. cartoon library would be incomplete.

Samurai Jack and Unicorns:Warriors internal aired on CN last year so don’t see why checkered past shows can’t air on Boomerang unless that rule was just recently implemented.If so I wonder when they would be allowed back on kid programming hours (Possibly if CP ends which isn’t happening anytime soon)
It's sad that dave is leaving boomerang in March, but I hope they replace with someone else who is just as good as him to bring more classics to the channel and not ruin boomerang again like it was back in 2014-2022.

Both “Huckleberry Hound” and “Auggie Doggie” were usually ran on USA during the “Cartoon Express” block back in the 1980’s.

Just like when they stopped playing the 80s Smurfs, I kinda (since I have both volumes on DVD) missed Taz-Mania after they stopped playing it. Though I guess Taz-Mania will return sometime eventually anyway.

Yea notta fan of the current look ethier I understand if companies want a new look but they could of at least make the letter b in the box blue like the original one instead of the cn style
I hate the current look, it's basically the flat bland corporate artstyle with no depth, and not to mention repetitive. The current branding is nearly a decade old and needs a facelift.

I'd definitely take this over the miller era of the channel, which was just Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, and Scooby Doo 24/7, with some modern CN shows for some reason.

There’s barely any Cartoon Network shows on their schedule now, all they have is Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, The Looney Tunes Show, Be Cool Scooby-Doo, New Looney Tunes and Scooby-Doo and Guess Who

how dare Cartoon Network refused to bring back the boomerang block, boomerang originally was a block back in the 90s making it potential, but the actual reason why they discontinued it was because of newer CN shows along with some acquired shows mixed in, because of this the block was closed in 2004 right after CN rebranded and another thing Hanna Barbera was absorbed by Warner Bros animation then there was a Hanna Barbera ride theme somewhere, it was closed to make way for a Nicktoon theme ride thing or something, then make matters worse, both Hanna and Barbara both passed away in 2001 and 2006.
Modern cartoons aren't fun as we want them to be nowadays with the change in animation

@@ArtieRaccoonReviews yes I have the friendly tv app and it has the new Me tv toons channel so I checked that out and i like it a lot i will have to say about Underdog is that it’s not the same as the complete series dvd box set I have because in those airings i don’t think it has every episode and another thing is that in my complete series dvd box set it’s like when it used to air on tv back in the day because the complete series dvd box set only has the Go Go Gophers and Commander Mcbragg segments and Tennessee Tuxedo and his tales as well as Klondike cat the king thats a lion the dog detective and tuture turtle are all in the Tennessee Tuxedo and his tales complete series dvd box set that I have because it’s also based off of when Tennessee Tuxedo used to air on tv according to wikepedia when Tennessee Tuxedo and the segments on that show aired as reruns on the Underdog show some scenes were cut at least for Tennessee Tuxedo
I would love to see underdogs back on boomerang yeah the networks not doing so good. I also heard that boomerang might shut down this year or next year but it’s good to see a huge schedule for the wonderful cartoon channels.

1:20 There's gonna be something Boomerang can use at least for SWAT Kats. Can't they get a hold of the Complete Series DVD set for SWAT Kats that Warner Archive has out? That's what Boomerang did for Wally Gator when it came back on the air they used DVD prints for that show. Even though they are not remastered Boomerang has found something useful for these shows.

I like the infant version of Looney Tunes the best! Baby Looney Tunes. Some people say that show might be for preschoolers. I agree that it’s a show probably for the younger generation, but that does not stop me from liking Baby Looney Tunes. Too bad they may not be bringing it back. It’s a shame if they don’t! But rules are rules.

I asked the Boomerang schedule person if Sheep in the Big City and Time Squad were ever gonna come to Boomerang. He said they don’t have the rights to air Sheep but it’s possible for Time Squad to come to the lineup.

I've been wondering why they haven't aired the series since it ended. My guess would have to be the same reason they pretend Squirrel Boy and Robot Jones doesn't exist or licensing issues with LEGO.

I’ve been watching boomerang channel and I have like every streaming service
Biggest problem with boomerang is many cable systems never added the channel. Xfinity in my area of Colorado never carried it but they have cn. And refused to add it. Not only that but the boomerang app runs very poor in my area as well either errors with ISP or errors loading from the app itself. It got so bad I dumped it. METV, discovery kids at least air the classic Lt. BTW CN does air the new Looney tunes but season 1 only.
I've mentioned this point several times in other videos, Xfinity/Comcast outright refuses to carry Boomerang and my area dropped it in 2010
It’s Discovery Family, not Discovery Kids. Discovery Kids used to be the channel back in the late 1990’s and 2000’s before it became the Hub in 2010 and finally Disocvery Family in 2014.

The current fate of Nickelodeon. Their current lineup is basically just boring SpongeBob episodes, a mediocre cartoon called The Loud House, it's even worse live-action spin-off The Really Loud House, a bunch of worthless live-action sitcoms and a new show called Rock, Paper, Scissors. Gone ate the days when the well-known Nickelodeon jingle "Nick-Nick-Nick-Na-Nick-Nick-Nick-Nickelodeon!" was heard when you tune in to the channel, the wild and surreal mid-80's and 90's bumpers advertising the channel and its shows, and awesome and unique shows like Doug, Rugrats and *the best of them all, also one of the greatest cartoons EVER MADE, Ren and Stimpy!!!!!*
