Update to previous comment. I had this error and called Fluke. Didn't realise these meters have a 10 year warranty. Mine was 9 years 11 months old, I had no receipt or anything, just gave them the serial number. I sent it back and today have just received a brand new unit from Fluke. Check your warranty guys!
i had the same problem.. I just removed the fuse connected to that micro amp terminal since i dont use that function.. i've tried cleaning with cotton swab repeatedly but did not work.. problem solved
@@alfredocruz6856 Since there is a special structure inside the connector, cleaning it does not solve the problem. Installing a new connector provides a solution.
Hi Ali, my Fluke 189 is warning LEADS on all scales, but "A", I already removed the input jacks and cleaning, but still showing this warning. When I heat it, the warning stops, but return when cold. Any idea?
@@darrenroydelaminez1008 I immersed my Fluke 189 board in 99% isopropyl alcohol for 1 month (first I removed the display), the alcohol removed all humidity inside the board, and it has been working perfectly since then.
@@francescocosoleto I let it on alcohol for 1 month because I was busy, but maybe could be less, like 3 days. after that, I dried it on the fan and put it in an oven at 180 F for 20 min, is working linke new. REMOVE the LCD Display before (and, of course, I'm talking about the board)
