all ur ki attacks get pushed back because moves that you are taught have no density and get pushed back, so u need to make a move and upgrade its density to push back ki attacks

When I did that saga i accidentally used ultra instict so i did not regret it made it faster :3
If it's possible u should have a friend play with u and take on boses or fight each other. To make pretend cannon fights. Like it would be cool for 2 players to clash ki blasts just like the first fight from goku and vegeta.
