The Lucerne Festival Orchestra with Claudio Abbado as its conductor made triumphal headlines worldwide: from «the miracle of Lucerne» (Tagesspiegel) to «superbe et éphèmère» (Le Figaro). When Abbado and his newly founded Orchestra perform at the Lucerne Festival 2005, the whole musical world looks again to Lucerne. Absolutely glorious, transcendent ... oddly enough, an old record of 'Wozzeck' got me 'into' classical music many years ago. Renee Fleming and Maestro Abbado performed this work so beautifully! Gratitude for posting it!
