Have you ever used a waist lamp for night running? I was watching a recent 100mile ultra and they were using both head lamps and waist. The waist one seems to spread the ground a lot more compared to a head spreading further ahead. You need to get the IT department to buy you a sit/stand tower for you desk. Do you think it is still a little sore from using muscles you don't usually use doing also moving the soil
No I haven’t. I have always wanted to try one but haven’t done enough trail running at night to justify it. The dual lamp on my head torch does a good job of spreading light and high beam but you can carry so much more weight on your waist that i can imagine you’d get some good brightness. Definitely need the sit stand desk. Unfortunately our it department is one guy who works 3 days a week. I can’t see it happening soon. I think I’ve narrowed it down to lifting too heavy at the gym. I’m a real light weight and I have to remember that!
