A tak, to te Tipo może być jedynie (droższą) alternatywą dla Dacii. I have this car and since the beginning I have a combined consumption of exactly 6l/100 km. 50% highway, 30% outside the city and 20% city. It doesn't really matter if it's summer, winter, air conditioning, etc. It feels best outside the city, consumption 4-5 liters and on the highway, of course it depends on the surface and speed, wind, but the average is from 5.5-6.5 liters if I step on the gas. Overall, I am very satisfied, a large, functional, reliable, sophisticated, cheap car with a small but mature and powerful engine for its category.
Why do you show the fuel consumption if you aren't able to shift gears correctly and why do you drive in city mode on the highway at high speeds!? Thanks for the video tho, I appreciate the production quality ;)
All car manufacturers declare underestimate consumption. This depends on the unreliable of the approval cycles, an old problem of the world of cars. It's not a novelty.

Está estupidamente caro agora (pós face-lift), provávelmente não seria grande sucesso... aqui em portugal é um carro de mais de 30 000€ (cerca de 160 00 Reais). Pessoalmente acho que não é grande carro pelo preço...
On the quality of the interiors I totally agree but the reliability I can assure you that is very good, mechanically is very reliable. The only problems might be some stupid sensor of the ADAS that don’t work properly, but for the rest it holds up very well.

Ten silnik ma jeszcze wersję 120hp (choćby w 500x). Wydaje się naturalnym, aby taka odmiana była również częścią Tipo. Sam z chęcią kupiłbym 1.0/120 6 biegów. 1.0/ 100 5 biegów, nie ma dla mnie racji bytu

The quality of the materials used, the quality in the machining of the engine parts, etc. If you don't like three cylinders, I understand, but saying they're all bullshit, I don't agree. Its a confusion with logos.... this interferes with the visual identity of the brand... Only brazilian Fiat has the new logo inside and outside the cars
Odnośnie spalania, to Fiat ma jakieś głupie jednostki ustawione fabrycznie i pokazuje km/l zamiast l/100km. Więc po przeliczeniu wychodzi realnie ok 9l :)
I had experience in driving this car with 1.4 non-turbo engine. I didn't like this version, it has no torque at low rpm (even in comparison with other non-turbo engines). This engine is looking better in this case, but reliability of 1.0 turbo engine can be worse.
Which other non turbo engines do you mean? I'm curious, because I daily a 2005 Astra G with Z14XEP, which has 90hp and 125 Nm, basically the same as Tipo
@@user-wm2ff8zn1b Cobalt's engine has 10 more hp and 7 more Nms, which is definitely noticeable itself, and combined with most likely much newer architecture of GM engines (FIRE family was introduced in 1985, while that 1.4 Tipo uses debuted in 2005) it makes sense that Tipo would feel sluggish.

I have the same car. Nothing to say about performance but the fuel consumption is 7,6 l / 100 km ( not 5,6 / 100 as Fiat declares )
It depends a lot on how clean you drive. Also city and highway driving give you different readings.

Never ever been a fan of Fiat but the Tipo seems to be pretty decent.
The quality and reliability just make it fall in the category.
Door closing sound is one of the things where I know the quality isn't on the higher level.

It's a cheap car that gives a lot for the price. There are not many budget cars left so it will be one of the best in this category.

Tipo after fsacelifting is too expensive and has worse engines. There is no longer 1.4 TURBO 120 HP
No more sedan/wagon versions either. Those ones looked much better too in my opinion and were way cheaper.
