曹彦章先生(1929 - 2009),汉族,山西人,中共党员。毕业于中国海军航空学校。离休干部。担任北京市武术运动协会顾问、老武术家委员会副主任,北京武术院华园武术培训中心主任,北京市武协杨式太极拳研究会顾问,朝阳区武协副主席等职。八岁起随杨登弟先生习练少林拳,大小洪拳及刀、剑、枪、棍等器械,1953年师承八极拳大师李书文(神枪李)之高足八极拳名家许家福先生习练八极拳械,1954年从杨式太极拳名家崔毅士先生习练杨式太极拳、太极推手及太极器械等。1981年参加北京市武术比赛获八极拳第一名、八极六合枪第二名;l982年参加北京市武术比赛荣获太极拳第一名、太极刀第一名、太极剑第二名。长期从事武术教学工作,培养学生众多,部分国内外学生参加全国及国际武术比赛并获奖。I983年被评为全国优秀武术辅导员。曹彦章先生武德高尚,拳艺精湛,坚持练功六十多年,并致力于拳理拳法的研究和总结,为弘扬中华武术,传播太极拳、八极拳,为促进全民健身运动的开展,呕心沥血,无私奉献,培养了众多弟子,对中华武术的发展做出了杰出贡献。
