- At 23:55 on the 17th of February 2019, after over 52 years of broadcasting, BBC Two Scotland closed down for the final time, in preparation for the launch of the new BBC Scotland channel. Continuity announcer for the final closedown was Morag Irvine at the BBC Scotland Pacific Quay studios in Glasgow.

Does anyone else think its weird that they want to change up tradition just to serve just Scotland content on 1 channel and have it simulcast bbc 2 in UK morning? Heck! I'm in the us!
Opon further research its just Scotland. Not Wales, not where ever else it is, just Scotland.
About time our licence fees were spent here. It's still the BBC though. They've already decided on who to give lots of jobs to. I wonder who gets to go on holiday with their mum?Susan Calman covers the female AND lesbian.criteria.
