Loving the contents from you, do more of this interviews as it is very educational for average hobbyist like us!
You should post more bro. Love your videos, they are very informative, would love to see you post three to four times a week.
Thanks bro! This is something I have contemplated several times. At the moment I feel once per week is ideal for me as I usually need time to locate hobbyists/shops/experts, plan the content/filming sequence, schedule a filming date with them, film, edit and upload. In order to maintain (and continually try to improve) video quality both in terms of content and video proudction, once a week is just nice.
I'm afraid that if I shoot for higher upload frequencies the quality will suffer. Both content and video production.
Maybe in the future when I am more efficient at this process I can shoot for twice a week. 😁

Excellent videos. My question: Can an arowana be fed pellets exclusively?
I was wondering about the lights being used to bring out their color. Since Marcus did mention about T8 lights being used, can it be any T8 bulbs? Or does it have to be one with a certain % of uva/uvb? Thanks! Love these educational videos.
Great video bro!! really enjoy your content. :)
@@SGBeardedAquarist yeah bro ahah 1 Silver, and 2 asian! waiting for you to get one HAHA
Awesome bro! All separate tanks or com together? Hahaha im trying to get a big tank going but im not sure if ill be able to keep an aro in it
@@SGBeardedAquarist my Silver and one of my slightly larger asian is in a pond :) and my other SHBRTG is in a tank! haha yeah understand bro! thinking of upgrading a tank to accommodate them too instead of keeping them in my pond. Please do a video if you do get a bigger tank! love to see what you do with it :)
It would be nice if u could make a video on common diseases of aros.. my banjar gets cloudy eyes every once in awhile :(
Based on my experience, I treat it with salt ,if doesn't cure,go to local fish store and ask the medicine (i don't remeber the name, but the color is green)

This video will clear most of the doubts in arowana hobbists.
Thanks for educating people!

Bro, could you doing video about Arowana filtration system recommendation? Which better? Sump, canister and overhead filter. Thank you in advance.
Its better to change the water frequently (2 or 3 day) instead of put filtration mindset.

Can you Tan a gold cross back ? If so why colour lighting do you require ?
Do I need to keep tanning my red Arowana after it had turned to my desired color - in order to maintain the color? Will the red stabilize? Or will it eventually fade out without tanning? Pleaseeee
Whats the difference of using LED and PLC/PLL lights? LED lights are more intense...
Please use a good audio mic audio is not clear
@@SGBeardedAquarist yeah his right I really can't understand it has to be more clear please find a solution for this thanks❤️🤗
Audio is fine. It's just his way of speaking unfortuantly don't understand very quick and dropping words. Shame because hes very knowledgeable :/
I have a question im new to keeping the asain arrowana so i got a SHB GOLDEN Malaysian ARROWANA roughly abiut 6-7 inches shall i start tanning it ive noticed its golden shine on the cheeks and how many hours day shall i have light on

Hello i have a few questions How to start asian aro community 3 is a good number of same batch ? If not can i mix it with 3 silver arowanas at smalll same size? Red are agresdive what about high back golden arowana community?
-what are the requirements to maintain a community arowana ?
Hi. Just want to ask what are PLL tanning lights? Is Dymax considered one? And my red is 2 and a half years old, how many hours a day do i have to tan her? Thank you so much😊
Hey Ronald, PL lights are a type of lighting. For example, LED is one kind, PL is another. They are PL florescent lights and common examples are the T5 or T8 bulbs. Simply check your specific light for what type of light it is using to determine if it is PL or not.
As for the second part of the question, do watch the first video I did w marcus "How to Boost Arowana Colour Fast". He does explain that and much more in depth 😁
can I use alovera with my arrowana water tank
how many feet fish tank needed to keep arowana?
What's the minimum tank size for a full grown sr and xb ?
Is top filter and canister filter enough for one full grown arowana or do i need a sump tank necessarily ?
Thanks for the questions! Hopefully there will be enough for another Q&A :)
thank you for sharing bro...i do share this video on arowana fans malaysia fb page...
Have you brought an arowana of your own yet?
I’m hoping they find a miniature arowana species so I can stock one in a 30g
There are actually species that look a lot like arowanas and stay small. They're just not technically arowanas hahaha
Any recommendations for buy a grade 1 kalimantan red ? Any shop in sg recommended ?
Hey DK, Marcus is actually an Arowana groomer so you can check with him if he has kalimantan red atm. You can contact him via facebook (MSR Arowana) or Instagram (@msr_arowana).
On top of him, you can check out this Arowana aquarium called Blue Crystal Aquarium. You can check out the store tour I did here: ua-cam.com/video/17-vYHSTvpo/v-deo.html
When you should stop tanning? Can you keep tanning?
Great questions! For the first one I'll see how many other questions I can gather and maybe I'll do another Q&A. For the second question I believe it depends on what type of tanning you are doing. Whether it is soft or intensive. Technically you can keep tanning but if its intensive tanning, it can be stressful for the fish so you wouldn't want to tan any longer than you have to.
Mybe best colour arwana fish red.
Great video!!! Can you also make video about datnoid indo tiger!!
Thank you!! I've had several request about datnoids so I'm really gonna have to see what I can get going 😁
Love your content. Pls invest in a good mic. Can hardly hear him.
Thank you. Sorry about the audio. This was recorded on a Rode shotgun mic. Ive since purchased a lav mic. I hope that improves audio of future videos :)
