Creating Space for Black Girls to R.E.I.G.N. in Out-of-School Time

There is an unmet need for out-of-school time programs that meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of Black children across the United States. REIGN Inc. provides programming that meets the specific needs of Black girls who live and attend schools in urban communities. In this
session from the 2024 Engage Every Student Summit, participants learn how REIGN Inc. programs use evidence-based strategies to support the development of positive social identity, academic skill development, and social and emotional wellness. Additionally, participant will gain ideas for making their out-of-school time culturally relevant and youth-centered.
