One of my favorites. I love the joy in the beginning, the battle energy in the middle and I cried in the end as these three took me with them into the empty dusty halls. The three nailed it. 🔥
So much bass. So much harmony. This is beautiful. Normally multiple bass voices will just not quite click but this was EPIC. Stunning. Thank you Todd for putting this in front of DJ. Thank you DJ for this reaction. This was GREAT!
I'm glad you got the opportunity to react to this. I find it interesting that Jonathan is right between Colm and Bobby in both the video and in timbre The lights on Colm reminds me of the reflection from a forge
I originally had this request in January, but with it doing the rounds on different reactors channels I switched it with IRIS which was the original plan this month.
Great reaction, DJ. Your reaction was pretty much the same as mine when I first watched it. I literally squealed with delight when it first popped up on my YT feed and hit the play button so fast it was unbelievable! To have my 3 fave basses in one vid was incredible and I love it!
Jonathan doesn't even look like he's trying in this video. Looks like he's reading the words off a screen. Still sounds amazing though! Colm & Jonathan did a metal cover of Ed Sheerans 'I See Fire', which is epic!
The ¨I´m Too Sexy¨ one? Dylan is NOT ready for that one! The clothing alone! 😁 (though I feel Geoff need to do that on his own. Wasn´t sultry enough in the short one)
I am watching this video (and your amazing reactions to the music) during a night-time thunderstorm. Right when the guys sang the line "when Durín wakes," there was a near-immediate sounding of thunder right outside my apartment window! 🤯😳 That was freaking epic!! 😅😁😁😁😁😁 And speaking of Hobbit-ish vibes, you, DJ, look quite a bit like a younger Martin Freeman (Bilbo Baggins). I really love your appreciation for great music that ranges across as many genres as possible! You rock! 😎
How do all three of those bass voices have so much of the same color? I would not have thought it possible to match the color the way they have without familial connection. And I pretty sure they are not related.
Its more accurate to say Colm is a Composer who also happens to be a singer. He was a composer and still is full-time I believe. He just happens to also be a very talented and skilled instrumentalist and singer.
I cannot read Tolkien ever again without this to play in appropriate sections.

Oh, I'm so glad you reacted to this song! Talk about bass heaven! Bobby's voice is my favorite, but they all sound incredible!

YES!!!!!!!!!! I've so been waiting for this reaction since I was introduced to Colm McGuinness and The Bass Gang by you. Thank you.😊
Love your reactions. Specially on bass singers.. you react how I react on the inside.. You show the shivers I have in my spine! 😁
OH YES!! 😃I've been hoping you'd react to this. Soooo much bass - my 3 fave bassy-boys in one vid. 🥰
I originally had this request in January, but with it doing the rounds on different reactors channels I switched it with IRIS which was the original plan this month.
@@toddmaliepaard9777 Nice one, Todd. It certainly seems to have caught the attention of quite a few reactors.
Wonderful reaction! This version is what I imagine it would sound like if we were in Middle Earth hearing it sang in person.
I was counting down the seconds dude this is gonna be so good
whatitdodave has perfectly named them the dragon council

That would be an alien cadence
I love the way you appear speechless; please, do not change. :D
You mentioned Ed Sheeran's "! See Fire". Jon and Colm have done a great cover of that too. Think it's on Jon's channel.
It is on Jon's channel and it's great. Jon, Colm and Matt Heafy of Trivium.
Peter Hollens' version of I See Fire is also amazing!
Colm just did an AMAZING Irish Auld Lang Syne.
His audio only version of Amazing Grace is out today too
yeah i was waiting for you to do this. this will jump on the everyday playlist without you noticing 😁
Plz react to colm's metal dwarvish misty mountains, awesome bass and screams
I saw this and was like "I wonder if this is a todd request" 🤣
its not meant to be a batle song as it was in the silmirilion and was originally a poem about durin the deathless and the dwaves
Looking forward to this! Have you seen the new VoicePlay short yet? 😅 ❤
The ¨I´m Too Sexy¨ one? Dylan is NOT ready for that one! The clothing alone! 😁

Wow!!! This was something!! Great reaction ❤
Thank you for a great reaction, to a great song.

The Song of Eldamar by Rachel Hardy is a great elf song!
There will be a G1 note from colm around the part anvil smote and Bobby does an E1 at the end of the song
Have you listened to Misty Mountains with Peter Hollins and Tim Foust? Amazing!!!
It’s amazing how distinctive each bass voice it. Although I have to admit Bobby is my favorite.
For me its Jonathan. Something about his voice just hits something special.
Fact about mister McGuinness he is also a COMPOSER. I am intrigued if that is composed by mister McGuinness himself
Its more accurate to say Colm is a Composer who also happens to be a singer. He was a composer and still is full-time I believe. He just happens to also be a very talented and skilled instrumentalist and singer.
No, the original melody is from a vocal group called Clamavi de Profundis.
You should check out The Hu- Wolf Totem
@DJ_410 great reaction.
Are you, or will you be playing Return to Moria?
Great reaction!
Please listen to Dan Vascs cover of „The last goodbye“ from the Hobbit,
While this is beyond awesome, I still prefere the version by Clamavi De Profundis
Utwór niesamowicie wykonany. Tylko to machanie i trzepanie raczkami tragiczne. Wygląda infantylnie. Psuje odbiór .Jesteś 5 letnią dziewczynką?
