that headunit should have wireless carplay, i have one in my 2010 sti and it has the same interface so you should check if there’s wireless carplay !! it’s called car link 2.0
Did the trim to the head unit match perfectly with the rest of the trim and what website did you directly order it from Im looking into them but pics show darker trim color

Double din and a sub was the first mod to my 05 lol, before things got carried away a bit

I would imagine the wiring connection to be different, but if you reach out to idoing they will let you know! they make them for all models tho!
