This trend of having these privileged actors play people with special needs in the most broad, offensive ways possible in order to chase Oscars used to piss me off so much, like with "Radio" here and "I Am Sam." It really doesn't happen that much anymore, but as recently as a couple years ago, somebody asked me if my little brother was good at counting cards, because they saw that in "Rain Man." So fuck that movie too.

They made the blind side kid mentally challenged too when he didnt even have a disability IRL and his "white saviors" stole all the money profits from the films by taking out a conservatorship on the kid. Both of these movies can suck it.

Seeing it now, boy, is it not as good as I remembered.
Also, the parody Adult Swim did involving Radio had me cracking up whenever DT brought it up to hype up the roast on twitch.
Been waiting a LONG time for you guys to upload this. LFG!!!!!!
That run away laugh from Billy is a new classic.
"We ain't the ones teaching Radio, Radio the one teaching us" Give Ed Harris an Oscar just for delivering that line with a straight face😂😂😂😂
Nah the translations of radios letter to johnny had me crying 😂😂😂😂
I didn't mind The Ringers with Johnny Knoxville, or What's Eating Gilbert Grape with Leo DiCaprio, but this was kind of offensive to me, as a disabled person myself.
Also, Rain Man was even better than this.
They tried too hard for this movie0 and failed.
Cuba went full.
Went home empty handed
If they stuck to the real story of Radio. I think the movie would’ve been better. The real guys story is really freaking cool. Go look it up now.
RIP Radio 😢😢😢
The saddest part is this is based on a real person.
@@spicymemes7458 That was normal back then. Rain Man was the same deal as well.
Severely autistic character with traits ramped up to eleven, and a neurotypical brother character played by the good looking Tom Cruise.
In that case.Rip everyone that was born before 1915 😂 sry couldn’t help it
That letter to Johnny was written in Radio waves..
The thumbnail…I clicked immediately 😂😂😂
the coach in radio be like : refuse to report an crime that the football team commited , uses and exploits an possible non - verbal disabled black man on the same football team that bullied and assualted the poor guy and treated him like an prop and an litteral joke
my teachers in 6th grade swore this movie was the greatest achievement in filmmaking.
Same
My teacher thought I Am Sam was incredible 💀
Before Music by Sia, there was Radio
I don't know which one is worse
@@KyleShiflet13666 I'd say Music, the acting from everyone is terrible, the disabled performance is a lot worse, at least Radio had good actors and solid directing.
Music is the most offensive then all of them
Music AND Rain Man are both horrible lmao
@@_Nekronos_ Disagree with the latter, Rain Man was good. Dustin did a good job unlike Sia.
Dearest Johnny
I hope this message finds you well. Although we've had our disagreements in the past, that is no excuse for your outlandish behavior at my expensive. While I've tried to ignore your abuse in the past, I fear I can no longer remain passive. It pains me to say that all is not forgiven, and, since the law will not prosecute you in a manner I see fit, I fear I must take matters into my own hands. Sleep with one eye open.
Love, Radio o oooooooooo
lolol
We had Freddy vs Jason now we need Radio vs Sling Blade 😄😄😁
A wise man once said.... "...You NEVER go Full ... 😳 ..."
I have a close family member with autism. This trend of having these privileged actors play people with special needs in the most broad, offensive ways possible in order to chase Oscars used to piss me off so much, like with "Radio" here and "I Am Sam." Thank goodness "Tropic Thunder" gave that bullshit the roasting it so thoroughly deserved. Even movies people liked, such as "Rain Man," contributed to those stereotypes. It really doesn't happen that much anymore, but as recently as a couple years ago, somebody asked me if my little brother was good at counting cards, because they saw that in "Rain Man." So fuck that movie too.
The only one of these types of movies that still holds up is Sling Blade. Karl despite his disablities is not played as a fool and is an actual character with an arc and not a prop in the story to make the "normal people" feel better.
Have you seen the movie MUSIC by Sia?
@@mttylerdurden9Oh god no
I wish this was on Twitch. I love the longer roasts. I’ve been waiting on this one. 😂
"congratulations" on drawing circles 😄😄😄😄😄😄
You guys NEED to roast I Am Sam.
I never noticed how low-key racist this and The Blind Side was when they first came out 😂😂😂
Peak ‘White Savior’ films that made the main black characters completely incompetent (as in dumb/extremely naive for some reason) without the righteous white person coming to their rescue and improving their lives. 🙄
It’s supposed to be “sweet and touching”, but it comes off as so pretentious (and as you said, low-key racist).
They made the blind side kid mentally challenged too when he didnt even have a disability IRL and his "white saviors" stole all the money profits from the films by taking out a conservatorship on the kid. Both of these movies can suck it.
this has to be the funniest movie roast yall have ever done lol i know my neighbors think im crazy for how much i been laughing lmao
The thumbnail i just can't.😂
A comedy parody poked fun at this once.
Oh it was the comebacks.😂
Do i hear a radio?
Dear Johnny, I know we had some differences in the past but I won't forget what you did to me. All is not forgiven. Your ass is dead.
Love,
Radio😭😭😭😭
That letter to johnny is the funniest part of the whole roast
This has got to be one of your funniest bad movie review.
I’ve never watched the movie but I’ve seen people make fun of it and it sounded hilarious
Looked up Radio's life on CBN and it shows him shaking hands with students and teachers even his former coach telling how Radio got involve with the football team. Hilarious review though Radio's real story is amazing.
Korey was really on one! And it was insanely hilarious 😂😂
They hit the nail on the head. The scene when they tied him up is so heartbreaking…then he runs out and trips and falls. Now the fall could gain more sympathy…but that sound is so distracting and hilarious. The he three stooges would be proud 😂😂
50:15 Radio wasnt playing 😂
Pure comedy 😂😂
I wasn't going to watch this one, but I knew Billy would keep me laughing my ass off.
We’re finally here y’all. The “RADIO Roast”🥳
this movie is the standard of don't go full R**** the new phrase should be "don't go full radio"
As a disabled autistic person myself, I find Cuba's performance in this extremely insulting.
I really needed this roast today, and it is so true about the quote from Tropic Thunder.
We gonna need that I Am Sam roast asap. That movie needs as much slander as possible!
I was waiting for this roast ever since Radio got mentioned during the Boat Trip roast. Guys didn't disappoint. Lol, interpreting Radio's written out loops as a passionate letter of revenge was the highlight of the video. Started to tear up once the DT crew got going.
This is how cuda gooding jr was acting at Diddy parties
Hmm speaking of, I wonder if the "freak-offs" will feature Cuba at some point.
SHOW ME THE DUMMY!!!
When I started watching this I wondered how long until Tropic Thunder was quoted.
When I started reading comments I wondered how long until someone else mentioned Tropic Thunder.
Radio and Baby Boy are the 2 most unintentionally funny movies of all time. Tyrese was dead serious in Baby Boy and it was hilarious.
"He's a killer just like Henry was!"
@@JaePhalcon lmao, the scene where he gets jumped for his bike then runs to his homies house is pure comedy lol
Radio falling after getting out the shed & his foot hitting the metal & clinging hard AF had me dead 😂
@@ajax5467 he makes that little noise too lmao
Fuckin love Baby boy, that movie's awesome
I saw this when I was channel surfing as a kid 6 min's into Cuba's performance and I was done.
