I'm Level 55 and was so glad to finally speed things up. I enter the area and the flying bastards give me 50XP while the guardians give me a few hundred. WTF? What should I do? Farm the Vault? What's the reason I get so little XP? The flying ones have only lvl 50. The usual marines give my 9XP.

I don't think the weapon proficiency system should have been replaced with the Badass Rank. Both would have been better.
Weapon Proficiency rewards the player for focusing on a character, Badass Ranking rewards the player for playing the game.
I dunno, could've made for more interesting gameplay
Also, if you go on play-through 2 all the way to the vault, then turn-around and zone back into the Eridian Promitory before beating the destroyer, you can farm the eridians up to max level and the crimson lance guys will all be gone, they are more of a nuisance when trying to farm the eridians for XP. Plus there are like 6 red chests to farm going through the map as well. Then you can go back into the vault and the destroyer will be max level too.

Thanks for this, I just started playing Lilith (my god she's awesome) and this knowledge makes playthrough 2.5 feel easier to get maxed on than before when I farmed the Lost Cave
Good tip about the shock weapons and the Vengeance. You encounter Eridian Promontory only on the end so you probably have some XP. It can help though to boost a second playthrough.
The most satisfying thing about farming (for me anyway) is the “DING”
I love this style of video for Borderlands Remastered. No use making videos for playthroughs you've already done, and these videos definitely help a lot. Keep it up man :D Hopefully you can come up with even more cool stuff for the Remaster. It's a lot of fun
Ive been doing a 100% run on my stream and while i was farming the armoury i went to the elevator by mistake, so now that quest is bugged and uncompletable so i have to start again haha.

motorhead also is a good farm if youre up to that point in the knoxx dlc, went from about 58 to 69 in under an hour + had a couple legendary drops and a chopper

Good to know. Im very early into the game cuz I'm not that good at borderlands and I can't seem to find anyone in my public session, but I hope I get far enough to do utilize this farming method.
Dont forget the lost cave, crab worms work really well if you can get criticals easily you can gain 3 exp bars in 5 minutes rinse and repeat with 2 chests to farm.
This is only reason I like borderlands than the bl2 and bl pre sequel. Good ole proficiency

Bad ass rank works on all weapons & stats. It's superior.
Yeah but the points are nothing to look forward to. But Proficiency on the other hand is.
@@GilgameshUni I preferred farming for the points. So many different ways to get them beyond just using a specific weapon.
I'd feel different if the gun level thing actually worked but they decided not to do that so meh.

The Orion is a really great weapon for this , especially if you can get a good mag and for Rate one .

Joltz you said the glitch doesn’t work no more ,but there is a new glitch ,you can merge weapons with the item lock in the inventory I’ve seen a video of a guy doing it ,i tried it myself and it worked probably not patched yet

@lennon prier i mean they give the most exp, but they are not the easiest to kill. probably farm for gear in vanilla like the Harold, Sham, Bee or Maggie... but farming for gear is not the most desired option, although those weapons/shields are really helpful to keep leveling without too much trouble
In my opinion three really good weapons for this method other than vengeance are Orion of course, shock bulldog cause big mag and lastly a gun ALL characters should have double anarchy.

I started doing this last night as opposed to farming Rakk Hive like I usually do. It certainly is faster but not easier. Luckily I killed the Destroyer so I can farm the chests as I level up. I’m using Lilith so trying different shock weapons as Tempest or using Anarchy with me regen Merc mod

Ah, the good old days. Back in the day, I played through with Lilith, then cloned my save into Mordecai with WillowTree. I then proceeded to power level both him and the proficiencies with his Trespass ability. Once both grinds were done, I used WillowTree to clone that Mordecai save into every other character.
Me and my little brother used to play on the PS3 and we moved on to the next games on switch
I remember doing the Eridian farm for weapon proficency after B1 came out with Mordecai and shield penetration, made them so damn easy to kill.
Wish I knew about the Rakk hive for Eridian weapons/Rocket launchers, I think I just used the E-cannon on zombies in the Dr Ned DLC after that came out, it took a damn long time.

I’m fairly new to this franchise & id love to know why legendaries don’t state what their special perk is ? I’m pretty sure I had a vengeance & sold it but I had NO IDEA it could bypass shields... it doesn’t say that anywhere on the gun card so how the hell are people suppose to know ?!? lol
Legendaries / uniques / Pearls. These items always got special perk or some kind. Knowing this, it's up to you to figure it out what it is.

Reminder that a shock bouncing betty on level will pretty much obliterate guardians’ shields with ease

guys i found a duping glitch within the locking and trash mechanics.
Just equip a shield, which is locked and try equipping a shield from the ground. A duplicate of the shield you are wearing will drop.
Easy money. Your inventory has to be full and it only works with shields. Or at least for me.
I hat my one only shield equipped. And couldn't drop it from my inventory unless I unequipped it.

After walking away a significant distance from the shields. I wasn't able to pick up the duped shiels and I can't replicate the glitch wtf...
They patched the vengeance, but my Hunter com still doesn't give me cooldown... Priorities like this make me ok with waiting for the steam release.
If you have a Lilith with a good intuition com , can this be done a lot faster ? I’m like level 40 with +4 intuition .
Hi, I'm playing Borderlands 1 on the Switch. I've completed 121 quests, with only 'Find Steele' left, but I'm only on level 35. It says there should be 58 levels available. Where's the missing XP. I can grind all day in Old Haven killing Crimson Lance but hardly get any XP. What have I missed in the game!? Please help...
Apparently there's a weapon merging glitch wonder if it would work for the vengeance passive
It would, merging keeps all passive effects (including crit, health steal, unique effects) on your character until you break the merge. That being said, if you need to glitch to play Borderlands, that's kinda sad.

Does the Remaster spawn more Guardians, then? I remember playing through at max level on the original, and after having beaten the story, only a very small handful of Guardians even spawn anymore (I'm talking like 12 in one run, tops).
Same amount but it was more than 12. It's more like 20. Honestly it's like approx 230k worth of experience per run if the enemies are scaling with you.
The thing is that in playthrough 2 you need to get to the destroyer (the vault) then exit it. It unlocks what everyone calls playthrough 2.5 and from that point on everything scales to your level.
If you don't do that and just keep farming them without accessing the vault you will outlevel the Eridian enemies.
This method is good for power levelling other characters, just bring them in as player 2.🇦🇺👍
@Shinidoshi best one for this method is 69 mordicai with trespass.
Another great way is Phoenix Lilith killing anything in the game, holding the weapon you desire to get proficiency
But I suppose the vid works for all characters
Do you have to finish the main quest? Because im currently level 53 and all the guardians are like 49 and im only getting around 1k xp per kill
Kill the destroyer. After you do that they will drop tons of xp like in the video

Hey, been playing borderlands titles for a while, but why was Tarturus station never given pearl drops in chest room? I wanna say there is an old thread out there talking about it but I have been searching for a bit with no luck. If anyone can explain that would be great!
Couple of reasons
1.)They are exclusive to Atlas Chests because
2.)there is a hidden stat called "awesome" level that dictates the tech level of the gear you can get and
3.)Knoxx and Craw is considered the True endgame. Roborev was for fun.
Honestly, it was my favorite (I hated Knox) so I am disappointed also.
From my understanding the awesome level has been raised (more legendaries higher quality) but pearls are still locked to Atlas chests and Craw

Will Rakk Hive stay giving 100K even when you get around level 50 or does the XP drop like normal?
If you beat the playthrough 2 story it scales the level of the boss and enemies with you.
Does the willowtree app work with the remastered version?

How am I supposed to do that much damage to make it efficient farming? They kill me in 30-60 secs and I take ages to kill them. I’m level 55 and they’re my Lv range
