My great grandparents are early inhabitants of Tempe. Great grandmother born there in 1880 and her husband moved from his birthplace Florence to Tempe where they met. He was a town blacksmith along with Samuel Brown in the early 1900's when the was less than 1,000 people.

My dad Ralph Estrada was born in 1928, Ernie was one of his best friends. Ernie Moraga, Albert Peralta, and Frank Molina, I think were the ones that hung out together.

My dad was born in 1930 also, Rueben Moraga. I met Ernie in 1991 for the first time as I was passing thru Tempe and was looking relatives still in the area so I contacted him. That's cool man. Are you related to Pete Estrada the Lawyer?

I'm Glad this video mentioned the Original Peoples of Tempe and Surrounding Areas,......My Family has been here before it was Officially Stolen and Forcibly turned into a State for Foreigners,.........Love My Native Lands but it's been Destroyed due to Colonialism and it's still Happening Today, Sadly,.....!
