Righteousness from God

Such legalistic approaches glorify human achievement over God’s grace, destroy the joy of genuine faith, and dilute the sufficiency of Christ’s atoning sacrifice on the cross. Urging us to set aside confidence in self-effort, Alistair Begg teaches that we should instead worship in God’s Spirit and glory in Christ’s accomplishments.

That seems to be the most difficult thing to wrap my mind around and forget. -> Nothing I do, but what Christ did, saves my soul. Justification by faith.

read all of Jesus sayings, read all of the Gospels,lots of do not don’t. Read Paul…..lots of do’s too. But don’t do … read carefully
