So.... are companies going to be abel to sue employees that walk out for lost profits and lost product? ie. food left on grill or left out, unhappy customers waiting in line, halting assembly line etc.. this is crazy lol

What's next? Letting employees get sued for quitting their jobs? This is absurd.

I mean, what's the point of having power if you don't flex it to its full extent?

To me, a rotating drum of a concrete truck is like the same as a fridge in the grocery store. There were MANAGERS in the office (of course not striking) that should have known how to deal with it. What.. are they too inferior to run the trucks of the employees that they manage? Managers need to earn their keep and deal with the issues that come about.
If the corps can't run a functioning company and people quit, how is that ANYONES fault but the companies?? That is not an employee issue that they can't get their act together.
Finally. Even if the companies/glacier get away with this case, workers WILL STILL strike in a manner to avoid this current argument but guess what: the companies bottom line will still be the same regardless -no workers and will need to hire. To me the difference in monetary damages is negligible.

The Teamsters need to lead a class action lawsuit against Glacier Northwest for attempting to eliminate millions of Americans of their constitutional right to strike. Union memberships cross party lines and could hurt the republican party by the supreme court even hearing such a case. Why is this issue in front of the supreme court? This case infront of the supreme court gives rise to questions about the corporate right wing Trump appointees to the supreme court.

They’ve hijacked and usurped the judiciary and they’ll be stripping us all of our constitutional rights, one by one. The only constitutional right this band of unqualified, far-right activist judges cares about is the 2nd one. They not only despise the rest of the Constitution, they are enemies of it.

I'm not sure why the right to strike is at risk. Can't they just add some fine print that it needs to happen at the morning or end of the day??

9:20 did Amy Coney Barrett just run interference for the plaintiff so he didn't have to answer Sonia Sotomayor's question about industries with perishable goods..??

I'm really shocked at the number of times that Justice Sotomayor and Justice Jackson assert that they don't understand. If they don't understand what they're hearing, then they shouldn't be justices on the United States Supreme Court!

Of course. Cessation of work does not require that. These companies need to have a system in place if they don't respect their workers enough that a strike is bound to happen.

Of course unions should be held responsible for the actions of their agents.
