Helston Flora Day 2024

A wonderful example of traditions of the British Isles being alive and well in this beautiful little Cornish Town of Helston. The Flora Dance with its well known Hal-an-tow dance is one of the oldest surviving traditions. It was amazing to see the spectacle and soak up the atmosphere of so many people upholding their local and cultural traditions. I have spoken to so many people which was so lovely.
