Now that I caught up to the Bleach anime I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported throughout the journey. I uploaded the first Bleach video for fun not expecting it to do well at all but I got lucky to have my videos shown to so many fans of Bleach. I know it's December and I'm late but I'm thankful for all of you who tuned in, left a comment, liked the videos, explained stuff to me, or simply watched. i read Bleach 10-12 years ago, it was a good manga, interesting story plot and lots of character development, but i never watch the anime up until 2 weeks ago where i speed ran the whole TYBW episodes, and oh my god everything about it is beautiful, the cinematography, color, transition, music score, everything is just master class!! Great job to the Studio Pierrot for whole production of TYBW, its a great way to honor Tite Kubo's legacy
Youve made me realize that the right arm of the soul king, which controls stagnation, is fighting alongside the soul reapers, where the left arm, which controls progress, is fighting alongside the quincies. So theyre kinda fighting with the side that represents what they represent. Thats kinda neat isnt it?
I actually think their allegiances are a ironic because while yes by stopping the Quinces the right arm is preserving the status quo & while aiding them the left arm is pushing for a new world but in the current world with life and death people can move forward in life with hopes and aspirations because the dispare of death exists while in a world without life and death people don't need to strive for anything and the world will stagnant. If you've read the manga you'd know where I'm coming from
no the reason pernida was fighting for yawach is that yawach stole the soul kings left from ichibe while ichibe stole his eyes if you remember the flashback episode where yawach and ichibe had a meeting.
To be fair pernida is basically fighting on his original side (soul king is quincy) who got effected by will of yhwach after yhwach took it from ichibei
Its not about why it is happening, it's about the fact that they're both fighting for the side that they represent. The soul reapers exist to keep the balance and maintain the order of the world as stagnation, while the quincies aim to usurp the old world order and create something new, as progress.
i kinda figured since the end of the arrancar arc. his shikai is already broken as is so i cant even fathom how they would upgrade it to a bankai while still keeping his fighting style the same. and the fact that hes fused with the hogyoku because would be really need to use bankai atp. the others have also been teased at so im just waiting to watch it go down and see what they are
16:16 in the episode 10 of cour 2 the flashback of ichibei and yhwach you see when ichibei seals yhwach eyes using soul king hand he loses the hand to the quincies and yhwach named that hand pernida so i think that's why he identities as a quincy and doesn't like insult of the quincies

I and many fans have been defending hate for those 10 years since the first anime ended and i always just had that feeling that it is going to come back, bleach was just too good to not continue and be left in a random spot while naruto and many other series did end or continue, That inner feeling came to be true after waiting and thinking about bleach finally they brought it back and did it better than anything i imagined, i must say ive read the manga before the anime got announced but im still happy to see everything on screen and it only solidifies my love for the series because imagine being 8 when you watched it and now being almost 20 still watching the same series that made your whole life easier to bare (I hope all of it makes sense since im not native)

I think the anime has done a good job of highlighting that even moreso than the manga, esp. with the anime-exclusive additions. The bankai of the zero division shake the worlds. Yamamoto's could destroy soul society. And from this last episode I think you really get the impression of the scale that Kyoraku's bankai has achieved, and how terrifying it would be if he lives to be as old as Yama.
Remember, when Aizen was talking with Ukitake at the end of soul society when he said "neither you or I could stand on top", it was confirmed he was referring to Mimihagi and the Soul King

I started bleach around the same time as you and your videos would conveniently came out after I finished each arc. When you dropped the arrancar arc vid and I wasn’t done yet it pushed me to finish. It was so awesome watching your reaction to scenes that I had the same reaction to as well all the way up until the most recent episode which I watched before this vid dropped. This series got me through bleach and gave me something to look forward too after every arc thank you bro can’t wait for more. ❤
It'll probably take a year between the end of Cour 3 to the beginning of Cour 4 like it did between 2-3, you should really read the manga to see all the differences in that time. Then keep in mind that we waited all this time for it to be animated, and got all of these amazing changes and how happy we are. They really went out of their way with this, and I genuinely hope they do better with the end fight and Ichigo's new Bankai. There's so much potential for this show, and it's been an amazing ride. Keep up the good work man
it depends on your view, the issue with bleach is that the world is not as developed and explained as One Piece or Naruto which makes it worse overall, however with naruto horrendous 4th War arc and Boruto there is no recovery from that, Naruto had a atrocious last arc while Bleach TYBW is pretty good

That bankai is so unique and abstract I think it really REALLY benefits from the motion and color of animation. It was definitely a hype moment of all time
I want to mention that many scenes unique to the anime are effectively canon. The author had to rush his chapters in the past and skips some things he wanted to do, but now he's supervising the anime and taking the chance to include scenes he wanted to before, so it's all canon.
yea ive heard the manga ending was rushed, and Kubo will be incredibly hands-on especially in regards to Cour 4. im hyped and i know Kubo will be cooking

Dude, you made it right on time! Next episode is gonna be nuts, its my favorite part of TYBW!! Shunsui's bankai reenacts a Kabuki play about 2 lovers where the guy hurts his partner and ends up getting punished by getting the same wounds he inflicted on his partner (act 1) then he falls ill because of guilt (act 2) they reconnect and decide to put an end to their misery by committing suice and jump into the water (act 3) but he chickens out and betrays her so she strangles him and kills him (the final act)
If ya didn’t notice. Ichigo was about to cut uryu hands and legs. He almost used bankai. But he lost due to being tired and couldn’t control his emotions.
It was an interesting experience and watching them was interesting especially in such a presentation where you analyze everything not just as a retelling, but also from the point of view of the plot. I hope you will enjoy it now together with everyone else when you understand what is happening in the last TYWB arc and I will wait for your opinion about 3-4 kuras. It will be interesting to see how a person who only recently knew nothing about Bleach except Aizen will react to all this. Thank you for these videos. It was amazing!
Dude it's a play on a couple committing deletion and the husband backing out at the last second causing the wife to kill him. Act 1 people theorize it is him hitting her and feeling the same pain due to shame Act 2 has him coming down with illness Act 3 is him and the wife throwing themselves underwater to drown And act 4 has the husband backing out at the last second forcing the wife to take him with her.
So glad that you've enjoyed the series this much! My question for you is this: What do you think the schrifts of the remaining sternritter are? We've got Uryu with A, Jugram with B, Pernida's power was explained but we don't yet know what the C means, BG9 never got K revealed, Gerard with M, Robert (The old guy with the pistols that fought Shunsui and Byakuya) with N, Nanana's (Quincy that paralyzed Aizen) power was revealed but never named in the anime as U, and Shaz Domino from back when Ichigo came in during the first invasion. For Shaz, I'd totally recommend reading The Beginning of the Revive of Tomorrow. It's a short story translated on reddit. I'd wait until Cour 3 is done, but it's a good read for more on Shaz.
Uryus shrift is the one thats most interesting to me because to share A alongside Yhwach must make it an absurd power. Id imagine its the Senjumaru swap he did but that doesnt seen worthy of A Jugram is probably The Balance or something since he’s always talking about tipping the scales and he showed one off in Cour 1, but i dont know how that would work as a power. I guess making himself equally as strong as whoever hes going up against as for the others i literally dont have a clue, i would have guessed Crush for Pernida but since Mayuri says it works off controlling nerve endings that cant be right. and thank you for the recommendation as well
@@Mespyy I won't spoil any you don't know, but I will say that even manga readers don't know BG9's and Robert's. For some reason Kubo never stated them. I won't say Pernida's just in case it's revealed, but Nanana, since he's dead, is the Underbelly. Finding weaknesses, lots of animals are weak on their stomach, so I always assumed that's the connection. And no problem on the rec, it's a short but pretty cool read.
my love for Bleach started in 2006 with episode 1. sure there are anime that are better when it comes to pacing, animation etc but Bleach is LOVE. and i have been watching anime for more than 30 years. Seeing Kyoraku's Bankai and all other after 10 years of waiting...priceless. and they killed it
Lille's voltstanding form is based on Biblically accurate angel. People don't fancy because it doesn't look like a cool shonen form but that's exactly why I love it so much. His angelic frankenstein-esque form is very very creative in my eye. Also you were spot on with shunsui Bankai. His sword is based on the concept of turning entertainment deadly. Shikai is children entertainment (games) Bankai is adult entertainment (Theater)
I love his forms too. I get that it's ugly but it's supposed to be lol. If people dislike this form they're going to even more so dislike his... (Spoiler below) Volstandig final form which is even "uglier".

Glad u mentioned that Memories of Nobody is canon, think it was confirmed back in 2016 but lots of people refused to believe it was canon. At least now most of them have given up denying it. Should definitely watch the movies and filler now since you’ve caught up.
You might've missed it, but I really like the scene where Ychwach kinda explained why Ichigo lost to him during the fight. It's because he was subconsciously holding back (bro didn't used bankai in this and Ishida's fight at all). The hint was him saying he want to defeat him rather than kill him (the guy who cause his mom's and prob the world's death). Like even if Yhwach is suppose to be a stranger and an enemy for him to kill, what he's suppose to do if he needed to use the power he worked hard for to protect his love one, pointing that same power to those love ones instead. (Ishida and "Old Man Zangetsu's face") Ichigo is strong-Urahara confirmed this in SS arc but he lack the desire to kill. This was shown and a callback 2x at least in both Kenpachi fight where he couldn't slash Kenny the first time because his blade was "blunt" but after the reassurance from Zangetsu and that he needs to kill the guy infront of him to save Rukia, he can now finally cut Kenny.... and the other during the Grimmjow fight, he was getting beaten to pulp by Grimmjow's resurreccion yet at the last moment he suddenly defeated Grimmjow after saying sorry to him, the reason was him holding back his intent to kill because it might scare Orihime, but after getting her reassurance his mind cleared up and he defeated Grimmjow.
I really want to see a prologue series with yamamoto as the protagonist how he got all the old captains together their first war with the quincies stuff like that i think would be fire.
Regarding THE Bankai, yeah it's based on theatrical plays, and has more than one as shown in CFYOW, but he decided to use that one in the fight, and it's exactly as you said. In the manga, he explains a bit more about the play's narrative that correlate with the effects of the acts, but overall it's an insane adaptation
this is what i wanted to know, because his shikai has multiple games he could play i assumed his bankai operated the same way. amazing Bankai and im always surprised by how creative Kubo can make some of these abilities
Was waiting for this video you caught up so quick and it was fun going through the earlier Bleach arcs again with you. Mayuri vs Ichigo's 2nd fight with Yhwach is anime only, Uryu's vollstandig and his fight with Ichigo is anime only, I mean they did clash a bit later in the manga but not to that extent. Renji's bankai got a lot more techniques which made it seem more like an improvement from his old bankai as he didn't get to use it much in the manga. Lille barro got more sniping scenes as in the manga he only shot Hisagi while some other characters just vanished leaving us to guess what happened to them when they later mentioned that they had taken losses. Mayuri vs Pernida and Shunsui vs Lille Barro is taken straight from the manga, and yes you got it right Shunsui's bankai makes theatrical plays reality, saw another comment explaining the play in detail so not going to that this comment is already long enough I think. I've read the manga but it was a while ago so I only remember like the major events but the animation for this arc is amazing and I can't wait to see what else gets expanded on as some parts in the manga felt rushed due to Kubo's health at the time.

I think the anime has done a good job of highlighting that even moreso than the manga, esp. with the anime-exclusive additions. The bankai of the zero division shake the worlds. Yamamoto's could destroy soul society. And from this last episode I think you really get the impression of the scale that Kyoraku's bankai has achieved, and how terrifying it would be if he lives to be as old as Yama.
That makes me think of SoiFon. She doesn't like her bankai, and I assume that is why it isn't as strong compared to others captains.

It'll probably take a year between the end of Cour 3 to the beginning of Cour 4 like it did between 2-3, you should really read the manga to see all the differences in that time. Then keep in mind that we waited all this time for it to be animated, and got all of these amazing changes and how happy we are. They really went out of their way with this, and I genuinely hope they do better with the end fight and Ichigo's new Bankai. There's so much potential for this show, and it's been an amazing ride. Keep up the good work man

Istg Shunsui’s Bankai was literally and figuratively a work of art. I personally think the anime did this part better than the manga did. 🥰🥰
It really did, the colours and sound effects are the reasons.
That bankai is so unique and abstract I think it really REALLY benefits from the motion and color of animation. It was definitely a hype moment of all time
Shunsui bankai is an embodiment of traditional Japan. Also, for ichibe, the top man for each squad is so Japan and i love it
I want to mention that many scenes unique to the anime are effectively canon. The author had to rush his chapters in the past and skips some things he wanted to do, but now he's supervising the anime and taking the chance to include scenes he wanted to before, so it's all canon.

Shunsui's bankai reenacts a Kabuki play about 2 lovers where the guy hurts his partner and ends up getting punished by getting the same wounds he inflicted on his partner (act 1) then he falls ill because of guilt (act 2) they reconnect and decide to put an end to their misery by committing suice and jump into the water (act 3) but he chickens out and betrays her so she strangles him and kills him (the final act)
If ya didn’t notice. Ichigo was about to cut uryu hands and legs. He almost used bankai. But he lost due to being tired and couldn’t control his emotions.
It was an interesting experience and watching them was interesting especially in such a presentation where you analyze everything not just as a retelling, but also from the point of view of the plot. I hope you will enjoy it now together with everyone else when you understand what is happening in the last TYWB arc and I will wait for your opinion about 3-4 kuras. It will be interesting to see how a person who only recently knew nothing about Bleach except Aizen will react to all this. Thank you for these videos. It was amazing!

We've got Uryu with A, Jugram with B, Pernida's power was explained but we don't yet know what the C means, BG9 never got K revealed, Gerard with M, Robert (The old guy with the pistols that fought Shunsui and Byakuya) with N, Nanana's (Quincy that paralyzed Aizen) power was revealed but never named in the anime as U, and Shaz Domino from back when Ichigo came in during the first invasion. For Shaz, I'd totally recommend reading The Beginning of the Revive of Tomorrow. It's a short story translated on reddit. I'd wait until Cour 3 is done, but it's a good read for more on Shaz.
Uryus shrift is the one thats most interesting to me because to share A alongside Yhwach must make it an absurd power. Id imagine its the Senjumaru swap he did but that doesnt seen worthy of A
Jugram is probably The Balance or something since he’s always talking about tipping the scales and he showed one off in Cour 1, but i dont know how that would work as a power. I guess making himself equally as strong as whoever hes going up against

@@Mespyy I won't spoil any you don't know, but I will say that even manga readers don't know BG9's and Robert's. For some reason Kubo never stated them. I won't say Pernida's just in case it's revealed, but Nanana, since he's dead, is the Underbelly. Finding weaknesses, lots of animals are weak on their stomach, so I always assumed that's the connection.

Lille's voltstanding form is based on Biblically accurate angel. People don't fancy because it doesn't look like a cool shonen form but that's exactly why I love it so much. His angelic frankenstein-esque form is very very creative in my eye.
Also you were spot on with shunsui Bankai. His sword is based on the concept of turning entertainment deadly.

You might've missed it, but I really like the scene where Ychwach kinda explained why Ichigo lost to him during the fight. It's because he was subconsciously holding back (bro didn't used bankai in this and Ishida's fight at all). The hint was him saying he want to defeat him rather than kill him (the guy who cause his mom's and prob the world's death). Like even if Yhwach is suppose to be a stranger and an enemy for him to kill, what he's suppose to do if he needed to use the power he worked hard for to protect his love one, pointing that same power to those love ones instead. (Ishida and "Old Man Zangetsu's face")
Ichigo is strong-Urahara confirmed this in SS arc but he lack the desire to kill. This was shown and a callback 2x at least in both Kenpachi fight where he couldn't slash Kenny the first time because his blade was "blunt" but after the reassurance from Zangetsu and that he needs to kill the guy infront of him to save Rukia, he can now finally cut Kenny.... and the other during the Grimmjow fight, he was getting beaten to pulp by Grimmjow's resurreccion yet at the last moment he suddenly defeated Grimmjow after saying sorry to him, the reason was him holding back his intent to kill because it might scare Orihime, but after getting her reassurance his mind cleared up and he defeated Grimmjow.
Fun fact: Kubo was fascinated by life and death as a child

Regarding THE Bankai, yeah it's based on theatrical plays, and has more than one as shown in CFYOW, but he decided to use that one in the fight, and it's exactly as you said. In the manga, he explains a bit more about the play's narrative that correlate with the effects of the acts, but overall it's an insane adaptation
this is what i wanted to know, because his shikai has multiple games he could play i assumed his bankai operated the same way. amazing Bankai and im always surprised by how creative Kubo can make some of these abilities

Was waiting for this video you caught up so quick and it was fun going through the earlier Bleach arcs again with you. Mayuri vs Ichigo's 2nd fight with Yhwach is anime only, Uryu's vollstandig and his fight with Ichigo is anime only, I mean they did clash a bit later in the manga but not to that extent. Renji's bankai got a lot more techniques which made it seem more like an improvement from his old bankai as he didn't get to use it much in the manga. Lille barro got more sniping scenes as in the manga he only shot Hisagi while some other characters just vanished leaving us to guess what happened to them when they later mentioned that they had taken losses. Mayuri vs Pernida and Shunsui vs Lille Barro is taken straight from the manga, and yes you got it right Shunsui's bankai makes theatrical plays reality, saw another comment explaining the play in detail so not going to that this comment is already long enough I think. I've read the manga but it was a while ago so I only remember like the major events but the animation for this arc is amazing and I can't wait to see what else gets expanded on as some parts in the manga felt rushed due to Kubo's health at the time.
