Totally with you. The stilted nature of the music can feel disconcerting however it is the real selling point for me. I can't wait to hear more and i could easily see them becoming a regular on the channel. Thanks for the view and comment.
I really enjoyed your Sokoninaru reaction. Thanks. They are a math-ish group that combines technical math-rock elements with smooth J-pop vocals. I love that combination although some find their math-rock side a bit jarring. As others have mentioned, Brilliant City (MV) is a more accessible track and maybe a better song for introducing new listeners to the band. It has a terrific melody and great vocal harmonies, while smoothly incorporating the math-rock elements (IMO). Hope you give this power trio another listen and thanks again!
Hi guys. I'd definitely recommend more listens as like you both said, the initial exposure to Sokoninaru is a bit jarring. Here's a couple of other tracks you may want to check out: "Gou Ni Moyu" - similar style as "Tenohira" "Brilliant City" - a bit more accessible "white for" - slower and gorgeous (and hardly ANYONE reacts to it. Don't know why.) "Metallin" - Bonkers, but fun. An earlier track. Thanks for checkin' out this band! These musicians are really, REALLY talented. Sokoninaru, for me, is a bucket-list band. Take care! 🕊️
Lyrics translation in the CC. But who needs to know what they are saying when the music is this amazing? And they can play this live! Also, I love SOKONINARU’s cover of YAOASOBI’s Yoru ni Kakeru; they give it a refreshingly different sound - ua-cam.com/video/0s5Fh6fv2A4/v-deo.html Check out also sokoninaru’s note-perfect cover of MAXIMUM THE HORMONE’s あ・り・あ・ん (alien). - ua-cam.com/video/8mglfMhierE/v-deo.html
Regarding the name, it's Soko-ni-naru, and rhymes with kangaroo. You should try this one: ua-cam.com/video/MVxl0zXZBR4/v-deo.html it's a little more straightforward but still great. And Misaki has the best bass tone since Hooky. So hard and ditry.
Will get it on the list and I will try everything in my power to remember the kangaroo rhyme for when they are back on the channel. Thanks for providing the link. You are a star.
Hy 😊I have a request for you guys. Band Maid Lollapalooza festival Dice &Hate I promise you will enjoy it,😉 another same band MV From now on it's a instrumental from this incredible Ladies 😉
I have been recording some solo reactions to Band-Maid's first album which should be up soon. Planning on going through all the album's. Will visit this later on if that is okay as I really want to do them in chronological order.
Sokoninaru is the best *Math Metal* ban out there.
I really love their Stop and Start.
First time hearing, WTF?
But when you listen more and more, it becomes addictive❤
I’m now their big fan 😂

Their songs take more than one listen but once you "get it" you love it.
Exactly.
Try this strange Japanese female duo...

It reminded me of the 80s Irish band called Therapy.
Good shout. i haven't listened to Therapy for years. Looks like that is my walks to work this week sorted. Cheers ears.
