Being a 17 y/o with a 96 SS as my first car, this channel has helped me thru so many projects, awesome step by steps, easy to understand, Keep it up man👊
Thanks! Glad I can help. Hope you hold on that 96. I wish I held onto mine at 17 and have had regrets since. If you have any suggestions for things you’d like to see, let me know. I’d be happy to tackle the best I can.
SS and a C10, I like this guy even more now. LOL
I have a 74 GMC suburban and 85k15.. they will be on the channel more soon.
Great content, man. I enjoy your videos a lot.
Thank you!
Great content, Boss!
Thank you!
Good video thanks
Hi Chris, the temp sensor/sender you're installing gives the reading in the dash which is what I need to do. Just got a green '95 yesterday! :)
It’s crazy to see the same issues that I’m having you are too. I just recently had a number 7 spark plug wire burn up, replaced that then the reservoir tank cap and now the temperature sensor on the side of the block, these chevys drive me nuts, but we love em
Haha, yeah that is pretty nuts. Do you have headers as well?
Great video, just received a 96 Roadmaster limited and I am quickly finding impala ss is place for information and upgrades since everything swaps over.
Thanks! Yeap, they are pretty universal. You’ll also find Cadillac Fleetwoods have many parts that can carry over. Welcome to the bbody club!
New subscriber 🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate it!
What gasket did you use for your headers to prevent leakage?
Just Jeggs steel set.
I recently changed my spark plugs on my 1994 with AC Delco 41-950 . Did I use the correct replacement plug ?
These should work for what you need. They replaced the 41-943, which GM recommends in the book. Plugs I got in the video I got on sale from rock auto.
@@Twostallgarage Thank you for the fast reply , I will subscribe. 👍🏻
@@omaraguilar7013 no worries! Appreciate the subscription!
How often should you do a tuneup?
Depends on the parts you’re putting into it, but 100,000 miles is a good estimate.
I have a question my impala is eating belts up trying to fix this problem
Make sure the pulleys are in good shape, everything is aligned, and the tension pulley is tight. They have a spring that fatigues over the years and needs replacement.

Check this video out on that.
Having the same problem where did you connect the new wire
Oh yeah. It was wired. New one works perfect.
I’m asking is the wire coming from the starter or where did you run yours???
@@mgelilb1027 oh yes, it was up stream in the loom by the egr valve though.
Whenever you have time do you think you can send me a picture of yours trying too get my gauge back working I replaced the sensor but I can’t find the wire too run the new wire too
@@mgelilb1027 yeap. Send me an email i995impalass@yahoo.com with your contact info.
