OMG!!! Although my family has a strong German linage, my grandmother & mom use to make Yorkshire puddings for special occasions and I absolutely loved them!!! I remember they both used beef drippings instead of oil. I'm a vegetarian now & although I think at one time I did find a recipe similar to yours I no longer have it, nor do I have the recipe from my grandmother, as 6 yrs ago I lost everything in a wildfire. You have no idea what this means to me to be able to more or less replicate one of my favorite foods from my childhood. And yes will definitely be making them. The other 2 recipes look delish as well.
Thank you for sharing these recipes! I was looking for something to take to a New Years Eve gathering and I’ve found it! Mince pies (my favorite) and Yorkshire Puddings! Merry Christmas to you & yours and give Dudley a hug!
and Mrs T omg being british myself you have done those dishes exactly the same way i make mine only difference here we still have the jelly in cubes so well done i feel really hungry now
The Yorkshire pudding looks so good. How do you usually serve them? Why is it called a pudding? On another note, week before last, I asked about your cardboard fireplace video and wanted to thank you for the links you left. I have to say, I think yours turned out better then the others. I did make one for myself and I really love it. I sit and stair at it. It makes me feel like I'm in a doll house. Lol. Thank you Lynsey, for all your inspiration!
Firstly, I have no idea why they are called puddings, but we always serve them with roast beef or roast chicken and turkey. I’m so glad you made your fireplace and you love it❤️ I get so much joy from the things I make, redo and makeover, it’s better than buying new things. We my friend live outside the box ❤️

These all look delicious! I enjoyed this very much. Im intrigued by the crust for the mince pies. Would it work for other fillings?
Yes, absolutely
Ive only read about mince pies and English puddings in British literature. They all look delicious! 😋
They are delish, and very traditional 🎄

Oh that’s great, this is exactly how my mom used to make them ♥️ very traditional 🎄
yummy ty your brie bites u make do u reheat the yorkshire pudding with the brie in it
I just serve them warm from the oven with a little slice of brie on top, but it sounds like a delicious idea to reheat them together! 🎄

That's the easiest Yorkshire pudding recipe I've ever seen.
