As a single mom, I have been conditioned to think, I wasn’t in a position to work and homeschool my children. However I’m stepping out on faith and I will be learning with my children as well. I have a 6 year old , and a 4 year old. I’m so nervous and excited again thanks for the tips and thank you for giving me confidence

Tomorrow’s our first day of homeschooling. I also start nursing school this year (nightshift program). I have a 4th grader and 2nd grader. When prayed as family for this moment and we are now doing it 😊. Thank you for this video again ! My very first video that gave me confidence ❤

I can't imagine how difficult it is to be single and homeschool
I work full-time and want to homeschool. I just don't want to get too frustrated but I know it will be helpful for my kids to not be in a public school environment no longer.
Im a sahm and felt lost! Definitely made me cry and realize this is what God has called me for! I am called to be a mother and his teacher. Thank you for this video it gave me confirmation on what God wants for me.
I loved homeschool. I was homeschooled in the 90’s, and my learning increased. I don’t blame parents for homeschooling these days: between the violence, shootings, bullying and politics-it’s the best option. This way you know your child is safe and learning what you want the child to learn as a parent.

I'm a grandmother and retired teacher. I am homeschooling my granddaughter to help out my daughter who has two younger ones. I enjoyed your video. I would like to offer a suggestion. I have found that it is helpful to introduce a subject that is new to both you and your child and set a little time out to learn something together. It gets the kids more involved and opens up their ideas about learning. Watching how they help you grasp a new concept gives you a clearer understanding of how they process information. My granddaughter and I are learning Morse Code as an addition to our regular curriculum. We are having fun with it.

Hello! My name is Monica and I am a new homeschool mom of 3 beautiful daughter’s. I am a certified school teacher and have been teaching/in education over 10 years now & I’m over it! I’ve been over it since COVID. I am on both sides of the fence (Teacher/Parent) so I see the ends & outs of it all. The educational system is so messed up. I withdrew my oldest (middle school 6th grade) the Thursday before spring break & I withdrew my youngest ( 2nd & 3rd graders) the day before the star test. I will not be returning this school year. I’ve been wanting to homeschool since the pandemic. I’ve done a lot of research and I’m ready! I was hesitant & fearful at first but it’s GO TIME now & I’m so excited to start this new journey with my family. I’ve prepared them & they are excited as well. I’m so glad I came across your channel! This particular video just inspired me even more. This video was needed for me so THANK YOU! This code was very informative, detailed, encouraging & positive. So beautifully said. I was similar to you but I am now a married, stay at home mom of 2 and expecting my third and it is so fulfilling. God has opened my eyes and it has been so empowering. My mom was very uninvolved with me so I didn’t have a good template but I have literally learned so much from UA-cam and videos like these on all things homemaking/homeschooling. Praise God!
Thank you for the encouragement! My kids are so shy and I know they would thrive being homeschooled. They loved when I homeschooled them at the beginning of the shutdown. They were very frustrated when they started virtual learning with HC. They even said they liked my home school. I’m so nervous because this is so new and I don’t know anyone else that homeschools. I can do this.
My daughter is shy too and watching her during her Zoom class, made me realize she'll be more fitted with homeschooling. I believe our fears will disappear over time!

This is an awesome video. Very encouraging! I say we are trialing homeschool this summer during break but I plan on jumping in and doing this for the school year. I just need Jesus with me every single second. I work from home full time and kind of stress about getting everything in right away when the kids are up because that’s when they’ll likely be the most cooperative. I’m probably overthinking.
I’m so glad I came across your video. My son is 4 and has social anxiety and just couldn’t grasp the traditional school setting. I had to take a step back and think about it, but the more I dwelled on it, the more I realized I was making the right decision withdrawing him from public school. Today was his last day and I’m going to use to the Christmas break to build his curriculum
You can do ALL THINGS! Take your time, build that curriculum and keep going. You’ve got this, God gave you this story because He knew only you could handle it 💕

Virtual school is not working for my first grader and pre k child either. Its 7 hours of stress and what he is being taught is not worth the 7 hours of stress. I'm nervous but I know it's a better choice.

God has called me to be a stay at home mom although I fought it for years when he brought me home 4 years ago and when things were a little tough I ran back into the work field because I felt that I graduated and I deserved to pursue my goals. Little did I know God was going to orchestrate things in the way it is today. Not only has he called me home and we are working towards that transition he has also put on my heart to homeschool! There were a lot of emotions because no women in my family has done this! I was taught to become successful not be at home and homeschool. But then God showed me the beauty of it all. I’m a full time RN and their father and I coparent but agreed it’s time to take them out for multiple reasons, as well as a child with adhd and speech delay. I was so overwhelmed and scared because I don’t want them to fail bc I’m not prepared. But these videos are so helpful. I have converted a bedroom into a classroom and am getting excited. First praying and letting God lead.

WOW! Your advice is on point. I'm a new home 🏡 Mom! I started my daughter's lessons on August 15, 2022 and I must say it has been a journey already.
However, you mentioned that you should pray before going into homeschooling, which is so important and I did just that before we started.
I have a full time job where I work from home and sometimes it gets very demanding, but I make the time to ensure my daughter is taught more in the subjects she struggles in and then focus on the easier subjects she excels in. We definitely make it work and I'm definitely learning as well again about myself and what is the best way to teach and grow with my child.
I could go on and on but I just wanted to say THANK YOU!! This video has opened my eyes even more.

I am so glad that I came across this video. You honestly spoke directly to my heart and my spirit. This is my second video on homeschooling that I'm watching because I have 3 kids (ages 4,3 and 1) that are now pandemic babies and I am choosing to homeschool them. I am very nervous going into this, and yes I've already gotten negative feedback about what I should and should not do for my kids. My highest level of education is high school diploma. I've never done any teaching or taken any teaching courses. Watching this video gave me reassurance and confidence that I desperately needed. Than you so much
