Hello! I have a question about the head makeup in Cantonese Opera. As everytime when I watched the various videos of Cantonese Opera makeups, most of the videos are showing that they are putting a pouch(头囊) on the wig and pianzi(片子) and then wrapping with a headbands. I haven’t see that actors are putting a pouch on the wig in videos of other Chinese Operas like Beijng Opera, Kunqu and neither in Thai / Singaporean Teochew Opera also. Can you please explain me why?
Thanks for your question! I think the pouch that you mean is a pouch of hair. Cantonese Opera 'Hua Dan' always put it on the wig is to thicken the hair pad, so we can fix accessories on it easily and look more beautiful.

I've been thinking that head pad in Cantonese Opera made actresses' head looks big and artificial, more than the makeups in other Chinese Operas when I saw it the first time, but now I got that it was for the convenience of makeup :) Can I ask you one more question if you are pleased? Do you have any recommendation or the suggestion of any popular play in Cantonese Opera, that foreigners who don't know any Cantonese or Chinese language can enjoy?

Just like, Havoc in Heaven(鬧天宮) and Drunken Beauty(贵妃醉酒) are good examples of the popular performance and story in the Beijing Opera, but I don't know what performance is popular in Cantonese Opera....

請問刨花水的效果和一般市售的髮膠有何不同呢？除了天然護髮的好處之外，想了解在光澤、黏著度、持久度和服貼度等等有何區別。感覺用刨花水貼鬢角和臉部能更貼合，也不易出現討厭的空隙，是嗎？
髮膠一噴就會令頭髮變硬，刨花只要保持濕潤，可在帶片子時因應面型繼續調整形狀，直至風乾後才會變硬定型😊🙏

請問用熱水浸刨花30分鐘，我這樣正確嗎？
我們有時趕時間，想刨花快點出膠都會用上暖水，但浸的時間不要太耐，出膠就要撈起（約15-30分鐘），否則驚啲膠溶哂😅
很有用！請問若很久才演出一次（可能一年才一次），那用剩的刨花可否放在雪櫃保鮮？
已浸濕的刨花不可以放一年那麼久啊﹗我試過放在冰箱一個月，拿出來用會有異味。如果隔很久才有演出，那不要一次浸太多刨花了，足夠打一副片子便可~而乾的刨花用報紙包好密封後，可保存很久的，一年以上都可以。

@@chencheb7387 現在淘寶都可以買到花旦用的片子，不過質素未必有保證。如能找戲班中人購買，協助挑選質素較好的片子會比較好。

請問妳，片子沾有汗水的話，一直沒有洗乾淨，是不是有汗臭味呢？
其實在打片子時都有用泡花洗片子的步驟，而用濕泡花鋪在片子上補濕時，其實都會有些少「up」味，那些汗味根本不算什麼了😄
@@kingfalui 真心希望片子可以用洗頭水，來清洗乾淨，用濕刨花來補濕時，不會有異味就好了。 戲曲演員真的太不容易啦！
