As with Derek Gray and Jim Danger, I discovered this great song via my Mum and Dad's record collection when I was a teenager. I'm 61 now and still love it. Still got their copy of it, too.
Another person who heard this from an acetate 78 in his parent's collection. A favourite of mine. Always dreamed of performing the vocal at Sonny's Jaz club on LI (now defunct) backed by their house band (Turk Mauro's band).

Yesterday, rummaging through a long forgotten cupboard I found a copy of this. It belonged to my father and I remember it well from my childhood. I can't play my copy but it was good to find it here.
