Hell yeah I knew he’d be down with the bizkit
😂
Damn forgotten was my favorite song and video of the year for sure
i love landon so much! my favorite artist by far!
He was such a great guy! Very easy to talk to.
Truly an excellent interview. You’re very articulate and do a great job guiding the interview without speaking for the artist. First time I’ve seen your channel but I’ll be back for sure. Well done.
Music is too loud in the background 😵💫
Yeah unfortunately as it was back stage at a festival there was a whole bunch of really distracting noise. Trust me when I say that this was better than it was.
Felt like I heard you talk way more than Landon
Yeah. Probably a fair call. This was my first on-site interview day. May have been a little nervous. Although my concept was to have more of a podcast style “chat” rather than an “interview”. I really want to have long form conversations with these artists. Not “here are 5 generic questions” type content.
It’s a learning curve I guess. Thanks for watching!
@@PrymalChaos that would be pretty dope .
Just wanted to hear more of how his mind works on the things he does .
Good job though .
@@squints3146I was lucky enough to speak to Rou Reynolds for
Enter Shikari for about 45 minutes. That felt way more comfortable to me and I feel like we had a really interesting conversation. Working with 15 minutes per artist at Goid Things Festival was much more difficult. I need to gain the experience to be able to tailor my style to the circumstance, without resorting to nervously rushing through it.
My biggest fear is becoming a “sound bite” interviewer, asking the same old tired questions, and not using my personal insight to connect with the artist on a fairly unique level.
@@PrymalChaos oh okay I’ll check that out .
And damn only 15 min yeah that’s rough can really dive into off the cuff style questions to kind of dig into topics .
I agree I’d go looking into bands and look at all the weird stuff people ask think or say and even fake stories and then ask and talk about that what people out there are saying or wondering on artist or how stories spread and their thoughts on if they heard those conspiracies or how they deal with specific things while on the road and what happens on off time . The random and deep questions instead of what every big interviewer does same stuff that you can find on Wikipedia haha
Perfect great job!
Thank you! Cheers!
🙌
Love your work brother!
Top Tip, Great Interview!
Thanks! It was a fun chat!
