At 1:52 it's actually not a variation of the E chord. Johnny was just playing the G chord. I played along with the footage of him performing Big River live and it's 100% accurate.
Hey can you please make a lesson for "To beat the devil" by Johnny Cash? I can't found any tutorial around and the Johnny version is very different from the Kris Kristofferson song

Great tune! I really enjoy your teaching style .
Thanks man. Thanks again. Were fanbros.......
Great video. A lot of mystery with this song, I have seen it played so many different ways. Johnny even mutes his stings on some videos.
Awesome lesson could you do a tutorial for my baby the demo version?
Hello, thanks so much for the upload!
I wish you'd upload more songs by cash I'd love to be able to learn from you.
Thanks so much!!
Folsom prison is tuned up too. I don’t know why he did it either, but it worked.

Great song that not a lot of people know about right there. Glad to see a stranger on the internet has a similar taste in Johnny Cash songs :)

Did UA-cam take away your cover of this song?!
Anyone ever notice that Big River and Hey Porter are the exact same chord progression and key?
Great video but PLEASE make sure your strumming hand is in the shot.
I never could get the part where you slide to the 4/5th fret and strum
Collin Mason this tab isnt correct ...
From the thumbnail I thought you were Liam neeson
Johnny never played the songs it was Luther Perkins his guitar player playing fender Esquire.you could never get that sound with an acoustic
He also played a Jazzmaster for a short time.
You look like Johnny but with a more squashed face.
