I am currently living in Maracaibo while some things are true other might not be the case: - it was a cloudy/rainy day so usually taxis and cars avoid going out due to puddles, it's extremely common when we just had a rain taxis are not available, most people in plaza go out at evening, not at the middle of the day. - Maracaibo is a badly designed city, it was made for cars not for people, I never heard someone in the past of walking from the center of the city to let's say Plaza de la republica, unless you are forced to. - Some shops closed early probably due being a rainy day ( mostly because transportation is so bad they are afraid no buses/taxis are available due rain) - The city is not definitely what it used to be, but in some parts is really popular specially at night. - Funny enough some of the places he visited even for a local were extremely dangerous to go around 10 years ago, so he wouldn't be able to visit even if they were back then full of "life"

Well. Except that time the tuq-tuq driver took him to the top of the ghetto, and called his buddy to jump Kurt once he got to the top. Kurt recognized the situation, and decided to sprint downhill while multiple gang members yelled at him and attempted to trick him into turning around and changing direction.
Hey Kurt! Maracucho here. DO NOT get on the buses unless you know exactly what you are doing or where you are going. Robberies happen everyday all the time on these. You should be very careful with criminals in Maracaibo, they tend to be very aggresive and dangerous. I actually had a bit of anxiety watching your video. Do not trust the Police or the National guard will be keeping you safe either. They are rats and can even blackmail you. I am talking from personal experience here. Please be safe!

In no way shape or Form is he comparable to Ghenghis Khan. This man makes videos for peasants on youtube that live vicariously through him and is in “danger” in places he visits while Genghis Khan Conquered entire CONTINENTS, depopulated major CITIES, had hundreds of wives and concubines, was FEARED everywhere he went, kings bowed to him, he changed the carbon footprint of earth at the time and 1/8 of Asia can trace back their genetics to him. Don’t disgrace Genghis Khan by comparing this man to him.

just got back from a road trip to Venezuela, its a beautiful country. enjoy!
Kurt ohne scheiss....

Kurt upload on the eve of my birthday . Thanks for the early birthday present kurt ❤ (I am half venezuelan so I will enjoy this upload)
Happy Birthday 🎊
Man , thats so weird with all the empty streets in the big city.
Its like north korea or a big rural conservative city..
Looks like the pandemic.
That's because they are all in America .
Communism 👍
Excelente vídeo, vayan juntos a morrocoy.Existos y bendiciones.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Gotta love ❤️ Kurt always teaching us History. Unlike other bloggers seem more about their self and interaction with the country. It’s awesome he knows the history of the countries. You learn stuff from this vlog.
One of the best channels in UA-cam.
Keep the videos coming Kurt!
I really enjoy your videos brother. Specially these about my countries it’s sad to see the reality and give you so much props you have more love for my country then a lot of it’s own people
Canada HERE !! Stay great Kurt. This video was high energy. EH

I really enjoy the latin america videos. I kept thinking about the travels in Peru and first vlog of Venezuela. It hits the right spot of capturing the daily lives and normal life without embellishments. Keep doing this Kurt but at the same time always and always take care and vigilant.
This is the life I want to experience, shoutout to Kurt for taking us on his adventures!
Kurt Caz doesn't need an editor, raw and pretty much uncut. Great stuff, keep it up Kurt. From Cape Town, South Africa.
7:25 this was so incredibly pure
"theyve got antibodies" is the best quote I think Ive ever heard lmao
Underrated quote, idk how Kurt didn’t laugh!
@@zeke6541tbh he probably had to give her that quote as well as a script because she had nothing going on upstairs.
@@zeke6541 I don't think he understood that she meant

Formula for succes indeed👍🏼😆
Kurt, she's the one for you ! you made 5 videos with Alejandra, always so entertaining and funny. His black eyes and his smile, damn, happy for you !

Mr Kurt you're everywhere I love it. Absolute boss, I want to buy you a beer when you come back to England!

12:45 that’s a Chevrolet Camaro. Nice find!
Venezuelan Ferrari. 🤣
Haven't watched your videos in a while, it's nice to come back and know that they're still good. Always making me want to practice my Spanish
Of all the places Kurt travels, South Americans always seem to be the friendliest, most cheerful and welcoming people. A far cry from the image painted of these countries. I'd love to visit some of these countries someday.
Well. Except that time the tuq-tuq driver took him to the top of the ghetto, and called his buddy to jump Kurt once he got to the top. Kurt recognized the situation, and decided to sprint downhill while multiple gang members yelled at him and attempted to trick him into turning around and changing direction.
@@gial8862 bad shit happens in all countries tbh
Saludos ✌🏼🇻🇪
@@marileerincon Yes, the country has had some troubled times in recent but there probably isn't a country with so much potential in the world given your resources and advantages. Greetings from Scotland.

Man I love seeing Kurt and Alejandra
Watching this and many of your other videos as a 42 year old as a dad realising i wasted my life. Never done anything like this and im regretting it massively. I'm teaching my kids differently so they can have the choice to do what they want to do.
Envy what you have achieved. Keep it going good luck
Still time.
@MrBunta1988 true but more tricky, time frame gonna be way different my daughter is 5 and another one due in Nov if I do it will be in 17 years time when they left school and technically can leave them at home or just all go travelling with each other. Who knows. For now just be family resort holidays lol
You had kids which is more than a lot of guys can say
Dude I am your age and I still can live like Kurt does, my girlfriend is 28 from colombia and I earn my money online, but well I have no kids and it also helps that people guess me 10 years younger..

She is a keeper Kurt ❤❤❤ love her def. a 10 😘😘

I'm from Brazil and I live in the USA, I met many Venezuelans who escaped from there, it's very sad what the ignorance of a government can do to a country that was once so rich.
It's happening slowly before our eyes in the US.
Love how he taught himself Spanish.
Not himself, girls taught him ;-)

Watching you from South Africa 🇿🇦
Watching this made me quite happy. I miss my home country, but I had to leave to make a living elsewhere. Thanks for the video!
Visited Maracaibo a lot in seventies and eighties. Was Venezuela's 2nd largest city with over a million people, with a bustling nightlife , due the petroluem bussines
Sad to see, it became a ghost city under Chavez and Maduro
bro i dated a Venezuelan girl in new york. I will never forget her. This brings back memories of her. Kurt bro you are tha man
Bro broke up with her nahh
Kurt, your Spanish is getting better mate! Inspiring.

This dude is giving Genghis Khan a run for his money at this point, hahaha
Lol I swear
Hrs like the South African the ghengis khan 😂😂
In no way shape or Form is he comparable to Ghenghis Khan. This man makes videos for peasants on youtube that live vicariously through him and is in “danger” in places he visits while Genghis Khan Conquered entire CONTINENTS, depopulated major CITIES, had hundreds of wives and concubines, was FEARED everywhere he went, kings bowed to him, he changed the carbon footprint of earth at the time and 1/8 of Asia can trace back their genetics to him.
Don’t disgrace Genghis Khan by comparing this man to him.
He never got those Latinas bro hahaha

Bro @kurtcaz I was born in Maracaibo! I left as a teenager and was crazy watching this video. Like going down memory lane but also so sad…it was
So crowded when I was there and everything was alive. So weird seeing it like that…😢
